Lol all ik her from is smash ultimate XD and I've seen glimpses of her game... though I don't know which one

I can see your character being one of the first that mine would trust. After reading some of your replies there is some of what Shadow could identify as "Maria" moments. So just a heads up when I have Shadow start being nicer to your guy.

If she has the tight beehive hairdo and red guns, it’s the first game. If she has more bangs and blue guns, it’s 2.

She kinda kept the character action subgenre alive. Devil May Cry 4 was the last notable release in the subgenre before Bayo 1, and DmC flopped hard.
 
Personality-wise I'd say Shadow would be greatly annoyed but would also know he's likely to be the most trustworthy as he wouldn't think there was once of a possibility of him betraying them.

Also, am I doing well in writing Kotlinsky the Commandant and his interactions with others? He isn’t a canon character to Darkest Dungeon, being more so a modded class (even then, there is no canon characters other than the classes in Darkest Dungeon), but I wanna see your thoughts upon him

I suppose Dismas and Renault are “canon”, even though the game goes on if they die. There’s the town NPCs and the Ancestor, too.
 
Sorry. You are doing a good job, Lazaro. Don't worry about it. You'll end up doing a better job than me anyway.

I think you're doing well! Darkest Dungeons is obviously a canon that fits the theme of this RP well and I think so far Kotlinsky's pessimistic(?) view of events fits the theme that I'm going for. I also see a future power struggle among the characters that'll make for some juicy RP drama.

Heh, yeah, I suppose you can say that. Kotlinsky is already gonna try and gain as much power within the group so that they would be more likely to follow his commands instead having an entire “mess” unfold within his vision, thing is, he isn’t an bad commander either, although, his methods are less than humane, and would certainly attempt to pull people into following the mission instead of being distracted such as saving a farmer and his family from an Eldritch beast when their goal is to run after a monster who has a page.
