Ryumaru Ryuko
Twist Twist

Greeted by the Receptionist, Ryuko was surprised it seemed like nothing happened here. However, it felt too normal for Ryuko. Approaching the Receptionist, she responded to her. "Let's cut to the chase,"
She drew a sword and pressed the blade close to the taller lady's neck, yet not enough to injure her.
"I know something is up here! Tell me what Kabu Corp is doing here in the safari zone that caused several pokemon to escape in a panic from it!"

"Please don't hurt me!"

The receptionist sat perfectly still as she spoke, Ryuko's blade hovering just above her necklace as it poked her in the throat. "I swear I don't know anything about any escaped Pokémon! And Kabu Corp?, they just pay me to sit here and man the front desk." she swallowed slowly, careful not to cut herself on Ryuko's sword "But I have seen some guys in pinstripe suits come and go from one of the backrooms. You might find a clue there. I can take you there if you want?"

She got up slowly, raising her hands up to show she wasn't armed as she got to her feet and proceeded to lead the Dragon Type to the backrooms. Ryuko kept her sword trained on the receptionist as they walked, though their size difference quickly became apparent, her blade lingering round the middle of the almost six foot tall woman's back. What was also becoming more apparent was the sweet relaxing scent which no longer seemed to emanate from the woman but the whole building "Here. This is where I saw them last time"

The receptionist came to a stop, lowering her hands down as she interacted with the thumb reader of the door. With a click, the door swung open and the receptionist stood to one side "I don't know when they'll come back so you better hurry."

Inside were shelves and shelves of Safari Balls, the room most likely being a storeroom of sorts for the exclusive orbs. It also seemed to be the where the pleasant smell was the strongest, almost beckoning the increasingly relaxed Ryuko in...

Ryuko was stuck in a trance of sorts. Her shoulders relaxed as she stepped forward.
"Cu! BE!"
Ryuko felt the bone club of Cubone smack her out of the trance, before she shook her head.
So that's it!
Ryuko's blade glowed with energy before she swung it, a twister forming in the room which picked up the safari balls and knocked over the shelves and tables.

Ryukos twister sent everything in the room flying, her ninja senses and caring cubone alerting her to something untoward within but almost as unsettling, nothing seem to happen. Suddenly the door slammed shut behind Ryuko leaving her alone in the now dark room. Or so she thought.

Within moments there was a quiet chorus reverberating around the room "Foooon.... Fooooon...." as the supposed Safari Balls started to come to life, unfurling themselves and revealing their pale white little bodies and stubby little arms, the chorus growing louder and louder "Foooon..... Fooooon...."

Beady little eyes looked from every angle at the young trainer as the army of Foongus's revealed themselves, their Sweet Scent permeating the room as their chorus reached it's crescendo "GUS!!!!!"

Their joining voices rung out in a startling shout, almost Astonishing in it's volume as they attacked Ryuko.

Ryuko was surprised all the Safari Balls turned out to be Foongus. They seemed really angry about her disturbing their rest, or maybe....
It's a trap!
Ryuko stepped back with a look of worry on her face, but Cubone took action, leaping off her shoulder and throwing it's Bone into the attacking group of Pokemon, the bone spining around and arcing back into Cubone's hands as it looked at any of the Foongus that were still up and raring to go.

As Andy moves for a bit, he would be interrupted for a second by Excalibur holding a long, silky item, the Dragon type seeming to offer it to Andy. "Huh? What did you find?" Andy nods taking the item and fastens it around his arm. The moment he does, he feels a surge of speed envelop him, the usually cumbersome staff and shield set now feeling as light as a feather. "A choice scarf huh? That would help us pick up the pace among other things" he nods giving an approving nod to the land shark. Andy now moving swiftly to Violet City , Onyx and Garchomp in tow,

It was getting quite late, however, thanks to that battle with Anne, lots of time passed them by. Who knows just what trouble Chance could be in or what other people like were doing to him? Regardless they move on, soon enough Bellsprout Tower was able to be seen in the distance. Great, seems we finally made it to Violet City" Andy says just as Excalibur tenses up again, this time from a low whistling noise. Andy gives a look to the dragon but remains silent, with Garchomps movements becoming slower and more precise Andy figures they were about to encounter possibly another one of those grunts but who knows? Andy, Onyx, and Excalibur would stick together as they move with purpose through the darkness at a steady pace towards that whistling noise.

As soon as Snowy finished her Dazzling Gleam, she turned to Nanami to see if she's alright. "I- I'm fine, thanks," the lady reassured her. Snowy then readied herself for an Aurora Veil... only for a Hitmonlee's Fake Out to halt it big time. This surely made Snowy lose balance (somehow) and tumble backward right away.

Sherry, however, fared much better than her Ninetales partner. She kept sidestepping to avoid the Black Belt's attacks while waving her non-dominant hand here and there. Little did he know that the random waving actually summoned Cherry's own Aurora Veil, much to Snowy's surprise. Cue the blue Ninetales' internal scream, Wait, what??? I swear it's not me...

Unbeknownst to everyone, Tenniel popped out from his Great Ball out of the blue. He quickly snatched a key from his trainer's pocket and dragged Nanami to Sherry's very first basecamp during her stay in Johto. This is how the Lucario nonverbally said, "Let's get outta here."

"Any more tricks up your sleeve shadow boy?"

"Always" smiled Jackie at Cinder's comment as he landed next to him. His grin however faltered upon seeing his reproduction Rock Blast amounting to nothing, devoured by the hungry flames of Grayson's attack.

And they say Rock is super effective against Fire and Flying chortled the Dark Type.

And to add insult to injury, the fur coated flinger was now under assault by it's anthesis as Falco used Air Slash. Jackie feinted left and right, dodging one blow to punch another with his Dark Type attack, however every breezy blade he punched sent embers upon him as they disseminated, burning his clothes and skin. The heat was practically unbearable thanks to all the fire flinging of his two dance partners, the sun loving sluggers still being amped by Sunny Day, and now with the stone floor practically superheated as a chunk of it became sand, Jackie was in hell. However the very prospect was way too early for the spiky haired sinner's liking and he needed an out.

"Wet Wipe, we ain't getting nowhere with this guy." said Jackie, picking his coat up in the brief interim as he spoke to Cinder, not even bothering to dust it off as he put it back on "All he has to do is stall us until Kabu Corp get what they want from Chancey boy and then bye bye Zapdos. And I definitely know you don't want that"

He slipped on the last sleeve of his coat before moving his shoulders, the grand garment resting snugly around him. "And seeing how you've made it such a lovely day for yourself, you can probably claw out a win for once so I'll leave you to it. I've had enough of this guy ogling my sweat covered body anyway"

"So I'll leave you with my final trick. Watch as a dashing Dark Type disappears" With only a wink for a farewell the heinous Hyde was off as he set out on his rather hastily made plan.

"MAREEP!" the red haired runner cried out "DISCHARGE!"

With no idea where his latest Pokémon was Jackie had to get her to show herself, which she did spectacularly, her built up Charge making her light up like overheated transformer. Quickly he lifted the Luxury Ball from his belt and returned her to it as he enacted his scheme. With Falco revealing nothing of Chance's whereabouts except his kimono, which Jackie had already slipped into his prodigious pockets a while back, the reasoning ruffian had to make his own deductions.

With the place a tower there was not likely a secret door built into the wall as any passage that lead from it would more than likely be visible from the outside with some sort of obvious protrusion from the building itself, not very secret then. So the hidden passage was probably under the floor and underground hidden by a trap door or the like, though there could be a lift inside the wall but, again the deducing Dark Type reasoned, this would go underground. And with Sprout Tower having a supposed secret passage as well, it's structure being basically the same as the Gym would mean it's one was most likely underground as well. More so with it having a more public and spiritual side to it leading to secret construction on the tower itself a no go. So with all that, Jackie would have to find some way under the earth, leading to one of his craziest plans yet.

Making a dash for the trampoline, Jackie catapulted himself on top of it springing himself skyward as he positioned himself for the next step, spinning around in Falco's direction. As he shot back down to earth, Jackie put all his strength into the landing as he aimed himself and with a massive jump that surely threatened to break the tremendous trampoline, he was off. Curling himself almost into a ball like a coat wearing Cascoon, the hurtling Hyde dove into the scorching sand of his arsonist ally which now replaced the floor. With his Fur coat hopefully holding, Jackie used Assurance to guarantee his descent below into the already damaged floor and the secret tunnels that lay beneath.

Spr_5b_590.png
Cubone's Bonemerang did a smashing job to the Foongus putting many a dents in their capsule looking caps, if not outright finishing the ones that took the brunt of Ryuko's Twister. But the group of Foongus was massive, outnumbering the pair fifteen to one at least, with those not already knocked out by the doting Dragon Type and her charge already preparing the next attack.

The most injured Mushroom Pokemon latched onto Ryuko and Cubone as they began to Absorb energy to repair their damaged bodies, growing back their tiny little arms or the missing chunks of their caps. The rest clamoured around Ryukos ankles, or sadly in Cubones case shoved him with their massive heads, trying to bring them to the ground where they could all swarm on top of them.

Off to the right of the path, two stone pillars marked a branching off point. Through these pillars rushed the high whistling sound, which became otherworldly and began to echo around Andy, Excalibur, and Onyx. Excalibur became even more on edge, and got down on all fours to growl towards the darkened pathway which was dotted with stones carved in some sort of language which was not quite the English alphabet. Then, by the hundreds a swarm of little black shapes erupted from between to pillars like bats out of a cave. They curled and twisted around the group of three like a great black tornado. Occasionally little white eyes peered out from the black shapes at them, with expressionless gazes. Then, as suddenly as they appeared they dissipated and floated right through the walls.

Now that the title wave of strange creatures had subsided, Andy and his companions would see that they were no longer in the forest outside of Violet City. Instead, around them were the torch lit walls of some strange ruins. Faintly Andy would be able to hear voices down the corridor to his right, it’s sources undisclosed by sight. To the left was only silence, yet a strong draft blew in from that direction. Along the walls were more carvings similar to the marked path they were beside moments before. In fact, the carvings were perfect depictions of the creatures which had transported the fairy type trainer there in the first place. The stone resembled sandstone, rough and yellowish.

Falco's eyes widened in surprise as Jackie retreated from their encounter. He hung in the air, watching Jackie set up for his little stunt. When he realized what the daring Dark Type's plan was, he made to swoop in towards him like a falcon pursuing it's prey. "Not so fast! Your test hasn't concluded young warrior," That was when Mareep, the cuddly EMP who had been preparing an attack, set off it's discharge at the behest of it's trainer. The wave of electricity struck the flying leader and threw him off course, as he grunted in pain at the super effective move. He landed on the trampoline himself, and could only watch as Jackie twisted through the air and towards the quick sand pit Cinder had created.

Hyde sank in quickly, given his built up momentum. While his coat did do it's job in protecting him, it was quite the worse for ware after his risky little stunt. Subjecting himself to the lava-like pool of shifting sand caused the coat to become little more than scorched tatters hanging off of Jackie's shoulders. While he was unharmed from the attack of the Fire Type battler above, Jackie had fallen directly into a stairwell and his unorthodox entrance sent him tumbling down it, head over heels, the sand coming in through the ruptured ceiling like a burning hourglass at his makeshift entrance. When the avalanche that was Jackie Hyde finally reached the bottom of the stairwell, he would find himself on some sort of catwalk surrounding a Colosseum-like pit. The floor was plated with metal, as was the rest of the basketball-court-size room. Before him was a black railing, and along the far wall aligned with the catwalk was an exit identical to the simple stairway Jackie had just entered through.

Down in the pit, Chance Bridgerton seemed to be fighting for his life. His clothes were in scraps, cuts and burns covered most of his completely exposed torso and the places where his pants were ripped. His face showed an expression of worry, and exhaustion. Nevertheless he was slashing fiercely with a brand new katana, electricity coating it's blade which whipped and sparked during each clash. His opponents, three well trained Bisharp, were surrounding him fending off his attacks. Though Chance seemed to be keeping them at bay with his rotating slashes at blinding speed, occasionally the in-sync Dark Steel types would lung in and catch a deep gash with their blades through the warrior's flesh. Clearly the elctric type leader was on his last legs.

Across the pit on the catwalk, floated the Ghost Type woman who had abducted Chance in the first place. Beside her was the psychic type operative from the caves, and on her other side stood a very regal looking gentleman in a full suit of samurai-style armor, which almost seemed as if it were made of a single piece of steel and not separated plates. His mask resembled that of an ogre, with large fangs and a hard faced expression. When Jackie tumbled into place, they all took their interested gazes away from the fight below and looked at Jackie.

"That useless Gym Leader, can't even stop an average trainer from interrupting us," Said the metal-covered man in a strange ringing tone.

"I believe I recognize this one," Said the floating woman, "He was at Mt. Morter,"

Twist Twist

Meanwhile, above ground, Falco Grayson was rising from the floor where he crouched. He seemed slightly slow to rise, twitching from the discharge that had taken him by complete surprise. His head hung down for a moment, before his wings were again coated in flame and he looked at Cinder with a fierce expression. If before he had seemed somewhat of an antitheses to the raging inferno that was Cinder's personality, now he looked exactly like the blazing battler. His eyes also poured forth flame like a flamethrower, and his expression was in a word: pissed. Apparently he didn't enjoy being abandoned in the middle of a scrap, especially by one he deemed weaker than himself. From the way he was staring at Cinder now, it seemed he wanted to take out this rage on the trainer left behind by his Dark Type companion.

"Well then, I suppose it's a one v one after all," He said, gritting his teeth. He then took two quick steps in Cinder's direction, lifting himself off the ground with his wings. A gale of wind picked up behind him with the flap which propelled him forward at nearly twice the speed he was capable of moments before. His fist was coated with flame and he aimed it directly at his fellow fire type's nose.

200px-Bruno_Hitmonlee_Adventures.png

It looked like the Black Belts anger was getting the best of him, as Sherry dodged his powerful boot with a nimble sidestep and she seemed to be just rubbing it in with her random waving is if to say You can't hit me, You can't hit me. This really riled up the Black Belt but he had been training hard for this rematch and he had to stay focused. And with his renewed focus came clarity, he would use her own trick against her. Lashing out with a kick to her left side, he would bait her into dodging with another sidestep, his attack slower and easy to read for the Ice Type though when she did move in the opposite direction, he would put all his power in his other foot as it came swinging from the right as he performed another Double Kick.

His Hitmonlee however had been faring much better against his opponent, his loud clap spooking Snowy and making her flinch and so, like a predator hunting its prey, he sprung. Quite literally, aiming a kick at the Ninetales chin, all the stored tension in his spring like legs sending him high up into air as he did so for his powerful High Jump Kick

The source soon being revealed to be wind rushing through 2 stone pillars, though that sound soon develops an eerie echo which soon encompasses the trio making Excalibur even more defensive. Along the path were some strange symbols etched into stones that Andy had no idea how to read. Not that he could even spend the time to do so as hundreds of these black forms suddenly swarmed them Andy only making out white peering eyes as they circle around them. The black swarm only lasts for mere seconds before they seemingly vanish as quickly as they came.

"Are you guys alright? Just what was that ?" he questions out loud looking to make sure everyone was accounted for as well as calming the tense dragon down for a bit before looking around the area. "Where are we? This certainly isn't where we were before. I guess those black things did this but why and how?" he quietly says looking along the wall and seeing more of those strange black creatures from moments earlier depicted in more stone carvings, only much more intact. Now turning his attention to the two paths before him he heard voices although faintly on the right and nothing on the left side though a draft came in that direction. "Not sure who the voices belong to but keep as quiet as possible okay?" he nods to the two pokemon before heading down the right corridor slowly.

And now it was Sherry's turn to get stumbled because seems like the Black Belt's prediction was spot on. His strong kicks flung her to a nearby souvenir shoppe, enough to make Snowy wince. C'mon sis, Tenny's counting on us.

The Ninetales soon composed herself upon realizing her own predicament. Her opponent was readying a High Jump Kick that his trainer had boasted about back in the free-for-all exhibition match. Sure, Snowy could just roll with a Dazzling Gleam, but that's at the cost of her vulnerability to the kick. Instead, she decided to Dig her way underground, leaving the Kicking Pokemon to guess where she would pop out later.

"Wow..." Sherry gingerly woke up with a bemused look on her face. Seems like her Aurora Veil and hailstorm-induced healing factor really helped mitigating the damage she had taken. She then conjured yet another Present (of the hurting variety this time) in one hand and an icy spear in her other one. "Gotta admit, that was strong," the young lady mused as she came closer to the Black Belt. "Here, you deserve it," she smiled upon giving the Present to her opponent.

As Hitmonlee jumped into the air with a massive kick, he was taken aback when his feet felt the soft fur of Snowy's white tails rather than the Ninetales chin as she dug underground, a very smart move on her behalf, as with all the stored tension in the Fighting Type's spring like legs having no where to go he couldn't control his descent. His foot bent sideways as he landed making the Kicking Pokémon cry out in pain, his High Jump Kick's great power coming at some risk to the Pokémon himself.

Hitmonlee shook it off as he scoped out the battlefield, keeping his eyes peeled for his fox like foe, the muscles of his legs coiling up like a snake as he readied another High Jump Kick, ready to cover the necessary distance quickly as she could reappear anywhere.....

"Uh... Thanks" the Black Belt said gingerly upon accepting Sherry's Present. "Me and Hitmonlee have been training night and day since the Exhibition and I guess it's paying off"

He gave the bow tied box a quick shake, before pulling at the bow. He smiled, a rather strange expression for the grudge holding Gi wearer, as he peeked inside the box only to have it explode in his face. Still standing as the smoke settled, Sherry could see the Fighting Types hair standing on end, the tips aflame slightly, as he looked up at her with his soot covered face. His brow furrowed, a throbbing vein easily visible on his forehead as his smile bent back revealing bared teeth. "I'm gonna kill you!!!"

The Black Belt rushed at the Ice Type, frothing at the mouth and bent on Revenge. It was at that moment that the souvenir shoppe owner came over, angrily waving a green football helmet emblazoned with the famous Castelia City Chesnaughts logo, a rather cute but aggressive looking Chesnaught. Fuming from his store being smashed by the two trainers and ready to give them an earful, he quickly changed his tune upon see the frenzied Fighting Type and seeing his anger pale in comparison to his, swiftly fled, a broken bobble head of the former star quarterback Dutch Downs falling from his pocket.

Ever so slightly the voices became clear enough for Andy to hear what they were saying. One was familiar, that of a woman with the will of a warrior. Talking very sternly with a man who had a more refined vocabulary, and a Gallarian accent.

"You said you'd be done by the time I got back," Said Anne Michelle around the corner from Andy where he still could not see her.

"And you said you'd kill the Fairy Boy, yet here you are in front of me, telling me you haven't killed him as if that's somehow my problem to fix," Said the man, rather unimpressed with her tone. If Andy chanced a glance around the corner, he would see the man kneeling in a lab coat, with a welding mask on. He was aiming his corresponding welding torch at the stone wall on the far side of the chamber they were in. It had columns resembling those that marked the path leading into the ruins. Several holes were missing from the Glyph covered walls, which marked a rough checkered pattern over to the middle where the man in the lab coat was. Beside him was a wheelbarrow full of the stone tablets he had ripped out of the wall. He seemed to be halfway through the one he was working on. On the other side of him was Anne, and in the corner was a very stoic-looking Toxtricity.

"You don't understand Moriarty! It got complicated. Now you have to help me kill him or Mr. Takemora is gonna yell at me!" Said Anne, for the first time seeming rather childish and vulnerable as the thought of Andy kissing her crossed her mind. Moriarty ceased his task, pulled up his welding mask, pinched the bridge of his nose, and sighed.

"You know what, fine. Do me a favor. I need to extract more Glyph tablets from this wall, but they're expecting me back at the bunker. Take one to them while I keep working here, and we'll kill the Fairy Boy together before we head back to Victory Road,"

"EEEEEE thank you Moriarty!" Said Anne Michelle, grappling around his neck and squeezing so tightly he began to turn red. It was less of a hug and more of a headlock. She then snatched up one of the stone tablets and ran down the lengthy chamber in direction of the door, and by extension, Andy, Excalibur, and Onyx. Toxtricity rolled his eyes at her.

Ryuko felt her energy leave her body, the ninja girl falling to her knees, as she was struggling to stay up. The Foongus were draining her health, and with the amount she was losing, she was possibly in the orange zone. She impaled her sword into the ground, and picked the mushroom pokemon off her body one by one, to no avail as they kept latching onto her.
No! I can't die here!

Cubone yelped in surprise at Foongus that focused on him were hitting him with headbutt. Cubone stepped back as he took the hits, and stood standing. However, the Skull pokemon continued to take hits, and the little guy was huffing. The next Foongus that ran at him, he smacked away with his club, both hands on the weapon as the extra force was exerted onto the enemy. Cubone looked to Ryuko, the girl not looking well as she was about to pass out. The baby pokemon screamed to her, worried she would suffer the same fate as his lost mother.

Dead. Gone forever. Cubone can't let that happen. Driven by his emotions, he ran towards the Foongus that were on Ryuko, as he once again held his club with both hands. The blunt end of the weapon glowed blood red as Cubone swung it into the pokemon that were draining his adoptive mother, each hit dealing heavy damage as one by one the Foongus flew off Ryuko. After the last foongus was swatted away, Cubone let out a roar, telling the Foongus to back offand leave his mother alone or else.

Jackie's Fur Coat had done it's job allowing him to survive his almost suicidal stunt but at great cost to itself, the grand garment in tatters and reduced to mere scraps. It was the heartbroken Hydes most prized possession, his raison d'etre, the one thing in the world that truly defined him and now it was gone. And it was in this very moment, the disparaged Dark Type truly felt the loss of his cherished coat, as he landed on his arse for the upteenth time today as he cascading down the secret stairway. Well at least he was right about the secret tunnel, but being proved right doesn't soften the fall that much, even for the egotistical Hyde, as he finally made his way down the stairwell and into a pile on the catwalk.

Pulling himself up with the nearby railing, the coat clad coatless cur spied Chance below, the very man they had been looking for, fighting for his life. Or what little he had left, going by the state he was in. "That useless Gym Leader, can't even stop an average trainer from interrupting us"

"I believe I recognize this one. He was at Mt. Mortar"

Jackie turned towards the voices, spotting the trio of people on the catwalk with him, none of them he recognised but he guessed that two of them were probably Elite Four. How else would someone like Chance end up worse for wear and half naked in a pit. "Hey Chance, you seen this girl's ventriloquist act? She's pretty good." shouted Jackie into the pit as he gazed at the Psychic Operative "Two voices and her lips didn't move once! Though I thought dummies were made of wood not junk." The deplorable Dark Types eyes falling on to the Steel Type samurai with that last comment.

He motioned disparagingly towards the Ghost Type, his gaze on her, as he continued his monologue "
Though the Halitosis you have might be a problem if you want go pro girl unless it's the tin of beans over there having a guff." He waved his hand in front of his face, mockingly and to emphasise his point "I can see why your down there now Chance!" he cackled over the railing "Keeping out of the way while the stink rises to the top!" Jackie's gaze became piercing, a smug look on his face "Just like your bosses Kabu Corp right, oh esteemed members of the Elite Four"

The spiky haired speech maker bowed sarcastically before springing right back up, clicking his fingers in front of him as he looked at the middle member of the corporate cronies "Now I recognise you! Your old man Morgan! What did ya do? Slip in the tub again and now your haunting it." His verbal jab became a one two punch, aimed at both Ghost and Steel Type "Though I don't get why you put a face on it but I can understand why it looks that way. I'd look like that too if I stared at that old coots naked can everyday."

Done with his jeers, Jackie nonchalantly turned away to engage with his bolt producing bud, leaning on the railing casually "So how's it going buddy? Just thought I'd tell you the little crew you formed is pretty peachy. Cinders up top right now preparing some fried chicken for ya while the girls are off waiting for us on a beach somewhere." Jackie placed his hand on his belt, palming two pokeballs which he began to roll around in his hand as he spoke "Excalibur's doing good by the way, left him at Ecreuteak but he's probably out somewhere chasing fairies and picking on fat kids by now. Well maybe not that last part, that's probably more of a me thing. Speaking of moi, do you want me to give you a hand down there or would you rather I kept these losers entertained?"

Cubones assault proved devastating, the Lonely Pokémon's need to save his surrogate mother proving far too potent a cause for the Foongus, even with their great numbers, to stand against. With their numbers decimated, the battered and broken Grass Types retreated into the dark corners of the room, limping away as fast as they could with those that couldn't merely curling themselves up hoping their natural disguises would protect them.

With a click behind them the rooms electronic lock disengaged and the door opened, causing light to fill the darkened room, as well as the sounds of distant Pokémon, their cries usually only heard by the lucky few. Though these cries were louder than usual, carried by the wind that now flowed through the building thanks to a nearby safety door, it's reinforced metal body meaning nothing if hurriedly left wide open by someone in a rush....

After the Foongus ran off, Cubone turned to Ryuko and waved his arms, while crying out to her, asking the dragon girl to get up. Ryuko stood up, exhausted as her eyes were struggling to stay open. "I'm sorry about this, I really am."
She turned towards the now unlocked door, as she slowly went to open it. Cubone hopped up onto her right shoulder, as he kept vigilant, ready to fight for Ryuko if he needed to. She was in no condition for combat at the moment.

As he makes his way ever so slowly to the source of the voices, he would recognize one of them "That sounds like the girl i just recently fought" the two apparently talking about her failure to deal with him in that fight. Andy just listening as they talked

"You said you'd be done by the time I got back,"

"And you said you'd kill the Fairy Boy, yet here you are in front of me, telling me you haven't killed him as if that's somehow my problem to fix,"

"Done with what?" he asks as he hears about how this other guy was probably going to come after him.

"You don't understand Moriarty! It got complicated. Now you have to help me kill him or Mr. Takemora is gonna yell at me!"

"Not sure who this Takemora guy is but we better buzz off for now. I can't exactly deal with two of those guys." he nods only to see Anne dash off elsewhere, presumably to get more glyph tablets from the wall, Andy and co seeing her do so leaving them with this other guy, Moriarty, and his Toxtricity with them. Perhaps they could deal with this guy when Anne is away and hopefully out of earshot? After a few seconds of thought however, "No, i dont really feel like getting involved in another battle right now, especially with that Toxtricity" erring on the side of caution for now he would hide behind a pillar for now. If Anne doesn't notice him he would then look to tail Anne to wherever she was heading, battling that guy right now in his current state would be suicidal practically.

Chance Bridgerton

A familiar voice distracted Chance momentarily from the deadly assault of the three steel types. He was confused at first, it's reverberation throughout the room sounding more like a taunt than a friend calling out to him. Still, the dastardly Dark Types jeers were a welcome sound. Chance chanced a glance up towards the entrance, if only to prove to himself it wasn't some sort of hope fueled hallucination. "Jackie you son of a bitch, I'd hug you but I might get stabbed," He said, smiling at the cocky trainer and deflecting a strike that threatened to skewer him through the middle. Unfortunately it wasn't the only one, as another Bisharp followed up quickly. It's bladed hand sunk into the Electric Trainer and he yelled in pain. He cupped his hand around the thing's arm and formed an Electro Ball, which he then forced at it's center mass. The thing was carried by the move's force until it collided with the metal wall of the pit. Blood poured from Chance's wound immediately and in bulk.

"CAREFUL YOU DOLTS!" Yelled the steel type samurai at his pokemon. "I TOLD YOU YOU CAN'T KILL HIM!" Chance then leapt away from the pokemon as fast as he could, and his blade began to glow yellow and spark much more powerfully. They followed in suit, and Chance smiled as he lined them up with the tip of his blade. Just as they rushed to jab him once more, he released a Charge Beam from his sword. One of the Bisharps doged right, but the other was caught dead center by the thin stream of light, which ripped directly through him. It took two clumsy steps at him, and then dropped.

"Well, you heard him Hyde, they want me alive. I'd say I'm safe enough down here for now,"

"It's truly insulting you think you have the choice, far more insulting than your pitiful remarks," Whispered the floating woman in Jackie's ear. While he'd been talking she had somehow moved behind him, and half her body hung out of the darkness of the stairway he had come through. Her hair waived behind her wildly as she aimed a Shadow Punch at the back of Jackie's head. "I should have stayed behind and killed you myself,"

"You, go tell Takemora this location is blown, we'll be on our way as soon as we finish damage control," Said the Steel Type, who gripped a piece of the metal railing in his hand. It crumpled beneath his massive grip, and he ripped it from it's fastening with seemingly no effort. A seven foot section of the rail came loose and he twisted it off like a piece of large taffey. He then flicked it like a whip, and if formed into a long jagged blade due to the Trainer's mastery over metal itself.

Twist Twist

As Andy hid, Anne passed by none the wiser that he was there. Before Andy began tracking her, he would noticed one of the little Black Pokémon who had brought him here phase through the wall beside him. Rather than bother Andy or his two Pokémon compatriots, however, the Unknown Pokémon rushed at the scientist who had gone back to removing plates from the glyph covered wall. As it got close, the Low Key Toxtricity strummed the chords on it’s chest and a brutal sound wave erupted from it. The unknown was thrown away from the Poison Type’s master brutally and it retreated from it’s assault.

As Andy followed Anne, he would notice the stone floors and walls of the place abruptly changed to metal plating, as if the whole of the underground ruins had been paved over by machinists. Anne was never the wiser to Andy’s stalking with his two Pokémon pals several hundred yards down the corridor. Eventually the cold metal hall opened up into a large arena surrounded by a catwalk, and Anne addressed the metal man inside the door.

“Sergio, Moriarty told me to bring a tablet to you all, so here,” Said the fighting type Enforcer, shoving the tablet into Sergio’s armored hand which wasn’t occupied by a large jagged metal blade formed from a section of hand railing.

As Ryuko left the entrance building, she could feel the ground squish beneath her feet, her shoes sinking into the wet muddy grass. There was a fine mist floating in the damp air, obscuring some of the smaller plants and weeds from view as well as a few roots of the massive mangrove trees that littered the area, as they twisted and snaked through the flora to reach the pools of water that covered the environment, to sate their age old thirst. And within all this lay rare and wonderful Pokémon, unique to this area of the Safari Zone.

The Swamp Area.

All around Ryuko were multitudes of different Pokémon, with a family of Floatzel at play around a gentle Dragonair within the water while a hard headed Bagon smashed his head into the tree of a Murkrow's rookery in envy. Though most of these Pokémon were incredibly timid and would quite easily flee from the ninja newcomer if she approached, there seemed to be a lone Seedot, rather impressive in it's demeanour, looking at Ryuko with some consideration from the cover of long dangling vines.
