Just wanted to make sure that I am not overriding the player characters in this game with my NPCs and give everyone a chance to post.Ridge does, but it's mostly internally. He sees this particular scene as King's show and Ridge isn't going to step in. Ridge's heart (yes, he has one) is also going out to Hatch because everyone has had bad days, but to roll a 1 on a percentile when the lowest is worst? *chuckles* Yeah. =)
That's all telling and not showing, but yes, he does but it's not important to the scene.
(bold mine)Upon observing and meeting Lt. Ridge, Stone was surprised, and thought A 'borg... ...with a commission? Now I've seen everything. Never served under a 'borg officer before. Was he a officer before becoming a 'borg? He was pleasantly surprised at the skilled berating. Guy must have been enlisted prior to his commission. None of the overly polite bullshit that some officers are like. Looks like the Army isn't as soft as I thought. Stone was starting to think he might like it here after all. At the question of "Do I make myself clear?" Stone responded with a strong "Yes, sir!"
Hmmmm. I don't know how easy/hard it would be for a Full Conversion Borg swap out bodies like that. I'll have to ponder that option a bit.
It could be a missing post, or just like Sherwood said, Vane and him may have been a bit quick on the trigger to put those posts up.
Everyone, over the next day or two, take your time and make sure your posts are appropriate for the scene we have going on.
I don't understand what the confusion is. It was stated previously that the last person to don armor would be denied liberty and would presumably be assigned remedial duties. This is a pretty regular and reasonable understanding of non judicial "punishment," whether it be latrine scrubbing, extra PT, or reciting regulations. Or anything else.
