Fandom Monster Hunter RP - Looking for RPers (Open)

Hey all!

Apologies to admins first of all, my first post was slightly misworded.

A group of friends and I have just created a new Discord RP centered around the Monster Hunter series, and we’re looking for possible like minded RPers to join! We would prefer novella/para posters but ideally, we are just looking for some new people to RP with and hopefully, make friends!
Whether you’ve played one of the games, heard about the series or have no idea what it is, no problem!
We have a group wiki with all the details, and if you fancy a new RP but know nothing about MH, it’s not a particularly lore filled franchise so you can get up to speed fairly quickly.

It’s going to be a action-leaning RP, but with other elements as well so plenty for everyone. The RP will be open to romance and possibly sexual themes but it’s not at the front or something that we will be actively seeking out.

Hey, there! I started playing MH back when it debuted on the PS2. I still have the original game, actually. I missed a couple editions here and there, but I'm pretty familiar with the setting all the way up to Gen (and Stories f you wanna count that one). I don't know anything about the recent MHWorld game, though. The last gaming system I had was the 3DS, and I'm not likely to get a newer console of any kind anytime soon.

Anyhow, I'm tentatively interested. I am a multi-paragraph writer, and I can provide some writing samples upon request.

Hey! Awesome to meet another MH player haha. Tbh, World, while great, is just another Elder Dragon/find/kill, so no great story lore or anything.

but yeh, this would be an rp kinda half and half canon, but pretty lax otherwise. We have a Discord channel for the actual rp and then our own wiki we’ve made!

Im very interested, got into the series with world and iceborne and it's by a far and away my favorite game of all time

Haven't touched the older games, their clunkiness seem's offputting but Im heavily invested in the little lore MH has and I am very very well versed and interested in the ecology and actual functions of the monsters biologically speaking, meaning I could play a damn good monster ecology researcher.
