Goddammit, Chief can never escape. But Maybe the two can meet up since Chief is a future version if he does get accepted?

"When I joined the Spartan project, we didn't have any fancy-schmancy Mjolnir! We had sticks! Two sticks and a rock for a whole company, and we had to share the rock!"
(Not gonna lie, that was basically what Spartan IIIs were given compared to IIs and IVs.)

Glad to see another Spartan!

Commander "Liam" B-220, "Gauntlet One"

Fandom:
Halo OC

Affiliation:
Resistance

Gender:
Male

Age:
28 (Chronologically,) more like 30 mentally and biologically

Race:
SPARTAN-III (Heavily Augmented Human)

Appearance:
In his full armor, Liam barely looks human. He stands at a towering 7 feet tall, with a physique far beyond anything a normal human could muster, even with a lifetime of training. He's noted as to rarely, if ever take off his armor or helmet, but when he does, there are several things to note. For one, he does not look twenty eight. He looks like he's somewhere in his early thirties in terms of facial structure. This is due to the hormones he was given as a prepubescent, which artificially induced early puberty to speed up his growth. He had the body. He also lacks the many surgical scars that Spartan II's like Master Chief possess, due to his augmentations being almost solely biological in nature. His physical appearance is otherwise unremarkable, possessing black hair and piercing blue eyes, the latter due to his augmentations removing the melanin from his eyes, thus turning them completely blue. The armor itself is heavily customized, being a hybrid of the Mark VI armor commonly worn by Spartan IIs, and the brand new Gen 2 Mjolnir armor system.

Abilities/Skills:
-Combat Skill: Liam is one of the finest soldiers at humanity's command. He's trained in the use of nearly every small arm available, an expert in hand-to-hand combat, and is at least proficient in piloting most vehicles, minus massive starcraft.

Strategist:
His experience in warfare has made Liam an exceptional strategist, with his focus being on guerilla warfare and unconventional tactics.

Leader:
Liam was chosen to lead a squad for a reason. His level headedness made him ideal to lead his squad, though it is to be noted that he isn't very experienced in commanding large forces, as he only ever commanded squads of four to eight Spartans, which leads to his other problem of not being able to really lead normal humans very well.

Superhuman Qualities:
As a Spartan III, Liam received a myriad of biological augmentations, unlike the mixture of cybernetic and biological enhancements given to the Spartan IIs. This makes him less powerful than his predecessors, but not by much. He can run as fast as an Olympic athlete without his armor, lift three times his weight (he weights 320 lbs, so about 960) in armor. His reflexes are far beyond that of a normal human, though he only matches a Spartan II while in his Mjolnir. His skeleton is coated in a titanium carbide mixture, created via genetic modification and a specialized diet during his early procedures. Introduction of human growth hormone caused him to experience an early puberty, causing massive muscle growth to accommodate his other modifications. All in all, Liam is beyond dangerous, and only gets more dangerous in his armor.

Gen 2 Mjolnir Armor System:
With the creation of the Spartan IV Program, the UNSC required a new armor system to match. Due to the Spartan IV Program's focus on creating a more cost efficient super soldier, the same had to be done with their armor. Gen 2 features many of the same features as it's predecessor, including the most advanced feature. By tapping into the Spartan's brain, the Mjolnir armor can read it's impulses, convert them toi electronic signals, and send these signals throughout the suit, basically meaning that a Spartan can simply let the suit act for them. Due to the fact that electronic signals move nearly at the speed of light, reaction times in some Spartan's, especially Spartan II's, can be seemingly instantaneous (not truly, they simply move faster than the average human can process.) Though it can be said that the Gen 2 has it's own downsides. Firstly, one of the key design principles was closing the gap between IVs and IIs. For IVs, this is great. While wearing Gen 2, they can go toe-to-toe with a II in Gen 1 Mjolnir. But the downside is just that: it only equalizes. Gen 1 Mjolnir has much more potential, due to the unique strength enhancement systems, as opposed to the Gen 2's impressive but still inferior artificial muscles. Due to it's cheap cost, the Gen 2 replaced the SPI (Semi-Powered Infiltration) armor usually worn by Spartan IIIs, and even those wearing Gen 1 Mjolnir moved on to Gen 2. Liam was no different, though he kept the classic helmet and chestplate design from his old Gen 1 armor, thanks to the backward compatibility of the Gen 2 model.

The Gen 2 Mjolnir armor has another advantage: it's potential for modification. Due to both the aforementioned backward compatibility and the many upgrades, no two sets of Gen 2 are exactly the same. Liam personally prefers using a jump pack, which allows him to move at breakneck speeds when mixed with his natural athleticism and the suit.

Personality:
Liam is stoic. Like...scarily stoic. He could get have his face blown off, and he'd just casually state that he probably needs to hang back for a bit. There's several reasons for this. Firstly, it's his training. He was instilled with a strict sense of discipline and duty. When you're fighting for humanity's survival, there's no time to mourn. Bury your wounded and continue the mission. There's also teh simple fact that Liam...doesn't really know how to process his emotions. He was never taught to, being taught only how to fight. His instructors weren't exactly interested in being therapists. This means that Liam has a lot of repressed trauma, from the loss of his parents to the comrades he's lost, and the many atrocities he's both witnessed and taken part in. His emotional state is like a shark: if he stops moving, he'll die. he has to keep moving on, or else everything that's happened to him will catch up. Other than his stoicism, his most notable trait is his sense of humor. He has a dry, often dark sense of humor, though he rarely shows this around non-Spartan's, and is otherwise a humorless stick in the mud.

Background:
Like all Spartan IIIs, Liam was an orphan of the Covenant War, his planet glassed and his family decimated by the initial onslaught. So when a representative from the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) offered him the chance to get revenge, Liam took it. He was immediately removed from the orphanage, and transferred off to the planet of Onyx, where he was assigned to Beta Company, the second batch of Spartan III recruits. He was noted for being much calmer than his peers. Spartan IIIs were infamous for their short tempers, many being between 4 and 6, and recovering from the loss of their families. This caught the eye of his superiors, and he was watched as he progressed through training. He was exceptional, acting as a big brother figure to many of the younger recruits. He went though his augmentations without issue, same as everyone else, and began operations at the age of 14. His first missions were bloody, brutal. Spartan IIIs were expendable, meant to die in combat. But his instructors saw too much potential in Liam for him to be wasted on suicide missions. So he was taken out of the rank and file, and assigned to his own Spartan Team, codenamed Gauntlet Team. He and his squad were given their own Mjolnir armor, and sent on high value missions against the Covenant, with Liam acting as the commanding officer. Gauntlet participated in several key battles, most notably the Fall of Reach, where they helped defend civilian transportsleaving the planet before it was glassed. In teh following years, Gauntlet lost more and more soldiers, andover time, the number of Spartan IIIs grew thin. Finally, by 2258, Liam was the only surviving member of his original squad, and he now commanded a team made up entirely of Spartan IVs, minus himself. It was hell. Despite msot of them being his senior in age, he was often the most mature in the team, and they often butted heads with their much less gung ho commander. He didn't much like Spartan IVs, thought that the idea of easier to make Spartan's was a good idea, but that in the end they were too much of a liability,. requiring much more medical care than any other Spartan class. This tension culminated during a routine capture of a Covenant corvette. He made it clear that they were to not use explosives around the slipspace drive, despite the enemies holed up in the reactor room. But against his orders, a grenade was thrown in, and it all went to shit. Liam was barely able to angrily toss his team out an airlock before the slipspace drive went off, and teleported him and half of the Covenant crew into oblivion.

That should have been the end of B-220. Except...it wasn't.

Somehow, thanks to the mathematically improbable chances of it happening, the slipspace malfunction actually sent Liam to another dimension, to him seeming as if it was hundred of years in the past. He was dazed, confused. He tried reporting in, only to find...nothing. No shipyards, no ONI Headquarters, nothing. No military recognized him, and he was damn near incarcerated by something called the Taskforce. Cut off from his team and command, he improvised, trying to find a way back. All the while this Taskforce was breathing down his neck. They reminded him of ONI in all the wrong ways. Their ruthlessness, their apathy. It was almost providence that he was approached by the Resistance. They seemed the better option over the Taskforce, so he joined,a nd found himself enjoying his new freedom, in

Name: 'Silence' (Jane Redfield)

Age: 25 (1984, born 1959)

Species/Race: Human

Sex (If Applicable): Female

Universe: Metal Gear Solid

Faction: Task Force

Rank: Subject to change

Occupation: Hunter/Tracker, Assassin

Equipment:

AM MRS-4: This 5.56mm light carbine is renown for ease of use, and a balance between stopping power and accuracy. It comes with a suppressor, foregrip, laser/light attachment and a medium Red Dot scope. Typically, this weapon's rounds can penetrate through Kevlar weave at moderate to close ranges, yet will bounce off of medium to heavy armor from long engagement distances. In addition, the 5.56mm rounds fired from a moderate distance can have the ability to penetrate up to 15mm deep within Level Four armor.

Wu-S Pistol: A modified silenced handgun, this pistol fires tranquilizer darts. As such, the rounds fired won't even penetrate glass fixtures. However if a dart gets embedded into flesh, the cocktail of narcotics administered will be delayed in incapacitating the target (or ineffective at all) unless a headshot or neck shot is made, and even then depending on the target's resistance does it have a high possibility to fail outright. Against augmented humans and whatever have you, this weapon may have little to no effect and will require multiple, successful hits to be able to knock a target out.

Sneaking Suit (Reinforced variant): This specially designed bodysuit features noise-isolating footsteps and profile concealment, allowing the user to sneak virtually undetected into enemy territory. This suit also features a signature masking system, and she'll be undetected from thermal sensors, motion radars and CCTV cameras. Additionally, added ceramic plating and additional Kevlar under weave give her a modest amount of protection, able to stop up to several 7.62 rounds at long to medium range. Lower calibers can and will compromise the suit's armor under sustained fire, and will cause bruises and fractures in some cases.

-IntScope: This visor-like device serves as a pair of binoculars, capable of 'marking' targets and their position and direction on the Idroid's display. Capable of a x20 zoom, this device pairs with the Idroid's remote functionality to signal areas of interest, such as navigation points, markers or targets of interest. Additionally, it is also outfitted with a parabolic microphone in order to listen in on important conversations, and even footsteps.

-IDroid: This handheld device functions like a walkie-talkie, able to call and relay information from the user to Command. Additionally, it is capable of calling in support, scanning documents, and projects a flat holographic map of the area in addition to monitoring the user's vitals.

-Service knife: A standard-issue combat knife.

Abilities:

Camouflage Parasite: One of XOF's first prototypes of the Skulls, the parasite administered to Jane during her capture lead to an interesting result. It allowed her to exhibit most attributes displayed by the successors of the Camo unit, but with a few major abnormalities. She is able to cloak and remain cloaked while moving, however any contact with external objects in her environment will cause her form to 'flicker' in and out of existence, revealing her to nearby enemies. She is able to jump five times the normal human height and can do so while cloaked. Lastly, she is able to dodge slow moving projectiles and (as a means of closing the gap between her target, or simply covering more ground bounding from cover to cover), can 'dash' from location to location in a shadowy blur- the effectiveness of which is up to 5m. She seldom speaks, preferring to keep chatter to an absolute minimum as it is strangely painful to talk. Electrocution, telepathy, and heavy ballistic trauma will strip her of her abilities temporarily, allowing for a quick follow-up kill.

'Sinful Hornet': A bolt-action, black finish rifle bearing close resemblance to the REZNOV-Ickx, this weapon is stored within the body of Snake via anomalous means. It is equipped with a laser sight and modified to chamber anti-material munitions, able to puncture the armored plating of a T-90.

Personality: Jane is by-the-book when it comes to getting the mission done, even going so far as to cut contact entirely from the radio while she does her job. She's silent, calculating and highly analytical of her surroundings. There are only a few known people who've been able to breach her hardened exterior, and beneath that is a caring soul that will do anything to protect those she has bonded the closest to.

Positive Traits:

-Everything and Nothing: Jane was Skull Face's ideal 'protégé' compared to Les Enfants Terribles; having developed the equivalent of a living weapon without the absurdly high rate of failure, trial and error.

Negative Traits

- Stoical: Jane disregards most orders issued to her from outsiders and harbors outright disrespect of glory-filled, self-leadership types. She cooperates when she needs to.

- 'By the Book': Jane despises a messy operation and prefers clean kills and minimal detection. How she'll react to the world of the Multiverse is unknown.

Hey. You can’t throw around slurs. There is a clear rule against that. So I am not sorry to say this character is denied, and since I originally had the slur will not be accepted if edited. We have a very strict rule against slurs of any kind. Please refrain from using them in the future. Thank you for understanding.

Fandom: Half-Life

Affiliation: Taskforce

Gender: Male

Age: Late Twenties to Early Thirties

Race: Human

Appearance:

Image result for barney calhoun half life gif

Abilities/Skills:

Basic Melee: Barney knows how to sorta defend himself in Close quarters, But just enough to get by. He can kick hard enough to bruise something as well.

Glock 17: The Glock 17 is a full-sized pistol with a full-sized grip and minimal muzzle rise, which makes it very controllable and accurate even in rapid-fire. It shoots the 9x19mm pistol cartridge (9mm Parabellum).

Personality: Barney is a strict man and will do what he is told, But, He will be the first to rush into combat and loves to drink. He also loves to brag about his authority and wears his Black Mesa Security Uniform.

History:
Barney Calhoun was originally a security officer assigned to the Area 3 Security sector of Black Mesa. His job often involved sorting out maintenance issues as well as standard security patrols and posts. Since this assignment included the Area 3 Anomalous Materials labs, Calhoun came into contact with both Dr. Gordon Freeman and Dr. Isaac Kleiner, and he formed strong friendships with both. This even bred races with Dr. Freeman through the ventilation system to get into Dr. Kleiner's office when he managed to lock himself out of it.
However, once the resonance cascade commenced, Barney Calhoun was isolated and hurled deep underground as the elevator he was in crashed. Having to fight his way back to the surface, Calhoun learned of a plan to escape Black Mesa and rescued Dr. Stanley Rosenburg, a research associate from the Anomalous Materials labs and creator of the scheme. The plan revolved around using the early prototype teleportation equipment to move outside the base, but required Calhoun to go to the border world, Xen, to properly align the equipment. After returning successfully, Calhoun was able to teleport out with the small team of scientists and escape, but not before witnessing his friend Dr. Freeman captured by the HECU soldiers assaulting the facility.
