Swift scrambled back onto her feet, then turned to glower at the boy (Dick). “What are you just standing there for? Help me stop her!” Then she ran towards the other girl (Lily), following her to the entrance.

white venom ran to the entrance, about to reach the gates

Peter Parker had seen the lumbering creature break out of the gym and had wasted no time in darting into an empty classroom to change into his form fitting red and blue suit.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Spider-Man rushed out of the classroom, getting right back on the creature’s tail. Whatever this thing was, letting it escape the grounds was a recipe for disaster.

He sprung out of the entrance, somersaulting in midair. “You know, if you keep this up, you’re probably gonna get expelled!” He shouted, flinging a tight strand of webbing at the creature’s back. His hope was to stop it in its tracks if the web connected.

White venom growl and scream, creating sharp spears on its arms to try to cut the webbing:"s-so what dont stop me!"

Batfang walk outside the school:"no one can stop her...."

“Hey, I’m just thinking about your education,” Spider-Man quipped back, releasing the first web that had been cut. His arms became a blur of red and blue as he fired off a salvo of webbing at the creature, aiming at the arms and legs, anything to try and keep it bound.

Someone else had emerged from the school. Judging by their words, they weren’t a friend. Spider-Man scowled beneath the mask, glanxng over at Batfang.

“What did you do?!”

White venom struggles, trying to use its spear arms to cut the webbing:"why dont you bug off?!"

Batfang smirk and chuckled:"oh you just got here didnt you? Well i guess thats a problem then...i made the students a bit dumb as you could say, its like they have amnesia " she press a button on her staff, the ray blaster on a tall building rooftop starts to power up agian aiming at spidey

The hairs on the back of his neck went rigid. A tingling erupted throughout Spider-Man's skull. Before he could even begin to react, a white hot laser slammed against his back. He went tumbling across the grass, skin stinging from the heat.

"Ray blasters? Really?" he groaned, gathering himself up. The news of what had happened to the students sent alarm cascading through the young hero. If he'd made it here just a bit sooner...

Spider-Man forced his guilt to the back of his mind. Reversing the amnesia was all that mattered right now.

A thwip sound emitted from his wrist as he flung another strand of webbing, this time at Batfang's staff. If it connected, he sought to pull it away from the villain. Maybe then he could figure out a way to stop this.

Once the ray hit him it slowly starts affect his mind and memories,

Batfang growl pulling her staff to get the webbing off

White venom was starting to break free

It was like a fog had rolled through his brain. Spider-Man shook his head vigorously, panic settling in. He had a gut feeling that laser hadn't just burned him. No... how could he have been so stupid?! This villain had all but spelled it out for him. He'd shown up too late for to be affected like the otherwise students. The villain would want to rectify that, of course.

He could feel certain thoughts slipping away even as he struggled to hang on to them, like trying to keep water cupped in one's hands. Certain memories flashed through his mind, before sliding into oblivion. He grimaced, desperately trying to reign them in. There wasn't much time.

Spider-Man leaped over to the staff wielder, wasting no more time trying to pry the device from her grasp with his webbing. Adrenaline flowed through his veins, heart beating fast as he attempted to simply rip the staff out of her hands with all the proportionate strength vested in him.

Batfang kick him back holding the staff tightly, she laugh;"soon you'll forget everything...."

White venom breaks out and lunge at him but if he moves then batfang will be knock down and she will let go of the staff

Spider-Man staggered backwards, clenching his fists. "W-why... why are you doing this?" he demanded.

A sharp tingle erupted through his skull. Instinct took over, and he backflipped several meters into the air just as the hulking creature came barreling past. In spite of everything, a amused breath escaped him as the creature collided with the villain instead, sending the staff clattering to the ground.

Seizing the one chance that had presented itself, Spider-Man webbed it into his hands. His fingers would curl around the length of the staff, clinging the object in his grasp in a manner identical to how he clung to walls. "What happens if I break this?" he asked, brandishing it threateningly above his head.

Batfang looked angry:"if you break that my powers will be cursed and broken dont you dare! I done this to get revenge on my twin....breaking that staff wont stop the ray effects..."

White venom getting up slowly glares at spidey, she picks up a car and getting ready to throw it

Spider-Man continued to hold the staff aloft, eyes darting worriedly between the enraged villainess, and the milky white creature that was now--

--Oh crap.

The lenses on the wallcrawler's mask widened. The creature was holding a car and poised to hurl it his way any second now. With his free hand, Spider-Man fired a ball of webbing at the creature's eyes, hoping to interrupt it before it managed to toss the vehicle.

Regardless of whether or not that worked, he would focus his glare on the villainess, gripping the staff so tightly that his knuckles whitened. "Reverse the effects of the mind ray and disable the blaster NOW, or I break your staff," he said, his tone stern as the urgency of the situation crept in.

Swift had ran out into the open to see the girl (Lily) now become a big white monster and another masked female fighting an exceptionally agile dude in tights. Okay. This is definitely not on my schedule. From what she had seen, the girl-monster needed to be stopped before she hurt anyone further, and the other female had said things that made Swift think she was the one causing all this pandemonium, so the only apparent ally she had here was the scarlet-clad one shooting webs out of his wrists. Man, I hate this day. Slipping around to the side, she ran towards Batfang, trying to tackle her to the ground.

Batfang chuckles:"i can disable the blaster, but the akuma has to be deevilized for effects to go back to normal...."

She turn into a group of red bats and goes over to the blaster, reappearing she disable it

The akuma? Spider-Man risked a quick glance over at the monster. Akuma was a Japanese term, roughly translating to devil or demon in English. That creature - with its hulking, silky white form and horrible visage with a wide mouth full of long, sharp incisors - definitely fit the bill. But how was he going to deevilize it?

Spider-Man exhaled a sigh of relief as an ally entered the fray. He'd been holding up against the wiles of (Batfang) and her monster adequately enough, but given how little he knew about what they were capable of, a "friend' was always a welcome sight.

He held his ground as the villain dispersed into a swarm of bats, unconsciously holding his breath as she deactivated the blaster. Spider-Man continued to eye her warily as she reappeared, the staff still firmly clasped in his hands.

"You're still not getting this back," said Spider-Man, flourishing the staff. "Not until you revert everyone back to-"

A tingling erupted through his skull. Almost in slow motion, he turned to see the car soaring towards him. His stomach lurched as he bent over backwards, arching his spine to allow the car to fly just over his face. One of the tires skirted the surface of his mask as it passed over him. The Webslinger had just barely managed to avoid what would've been a very painful car-tastrophe.

Spider-Man backflipped away from them, landing with practiced grace atop the gate. "I don't know what you did to make that monster, but you..." He paused, tearing his gaze away from the monster. He pressed a hand to his temple, grimacing beneath the mask as his previous train out thought fizzled into nothing-

"NO!" he shouted, driving the fog out of his mind, if only for a moment. The longer this went on, the closer he'd come to having his memories and everything that made him Spider-Man purged from his brain.

He took a deep breath, refocused his gaze on the bat-villainess, and continued. "Please, you don't have to do this. Whatever you're holding against your twin, revenge won't satisfy that. It only ends up tearing you apart, and everything around you." Even as the effects of the ray worked against his memory, the image of Uncle Ben flashed through Peter's mind. A horrible image, of his uncle lying dead on the sidewalk. Peter remembered the despair and rage welling up within him like a tempest. He remembered the cold fury chipping away at his soul every time thoughts of Uncle Ben's killer creeped into his mind. For weeks he'd dedicated every sleepless night to trying to track down the killer, but ultimately, it was pointless. Getting revenge wouldn't heal his crushed spirit, or comfort Aunt May. And it would never have brought back Uncle Ben.

"Look at what's happening around you!" Spider-Man shouted. "Is this really what you want? A school full of kids and teachers who've had their entire lives up until this point stolen from them? A monster set loose through the city?!

"Do the right thing. Turn the akuma back into whoever they used to be. Restore everyone's memories. It isn't too late. You can still fix this!"

Batfang glared:"you dont know what its like, i want them to die and her to die....she suffered but yet people come and help her...so goodbye spiderman soon you will be nothing!"

A boomrang hits batfang and she looks back at the ray, her look of smirk disappeared replacing with anger

Sylvester smirks walking out of a portal, his wolf ears twitch as he breaks the cylinder in the blaster and changes boomrang to compact, his suit is black with white dots

Batfang threw a dagger at him but it missed

He open the spotted compact and capture the akuma.
A frost from the compact dispurses affecting the area, restoring everyone memories and fixing the damages

White venom changed back to lily, but she looked angered at batfang:"what the fuck have you done?!"
Lord Knightshade Lord Knightshade

Spider-Man drew in a sharp breath as a wave of frost dispersed over the area in an instant. Like the sun peeking through an overcast sky, clarity started to trickle into his muddled brain. In moments, the fog rolled out. The few, scattered memories that had been disturbed came surging back in.

Peter smiled as memories of his loved ones ran through his mind, all pictured vividly in his mind's eye. Aunt May beaming at him as he told her about the Stark Internship; Ned's ecstatic face as they constructed a Lego death star together; Uncle Ben, looking warmly upon Peter with a firm hand on his shoulder, offering the young boy assurance as he entered his first year at high school.

He didn't dwell on this for too long, however. He remained perched atop the school gate, observing the scene unfolding below. So many things happened at once. Out of nowhere some guy with an epic looking black suit and ears like a wolf stepped out of a portal and more or less dealt with the situation before it escalated.

'Holy f-"

Spider-Man watched in awe, his mouth hung open. He did a double take as the white monstrosity transformed back into a girl. It seemed she was free from whatever influence she'd been under, if left understandably distraught by the whole situation.

Speaking of which...

Spider-Man flipped down from his perch, landing right before the gate. He fired a small capsule of webbing at (Batfang), which would expand into a large, viscous net that, if not avoided, would hopefully capture her.

Lily glared and froze the webs, she create an ice sword looking back at batfang:"lilith you've done it now!"

Sylvester rush over to them, low deep tone:"batfang..i should have known your attack earlier was a distraction! The other heroes and i took long to clean up your mess, now there is more people in the hospital...."

Batfang chuckled:"good you know i have to eat, its the only way to get blood....."

Lily look at spidey and scoff:"didnt know there was another newbie here..."
Lord Knightshade Lord Knightshade

Spider-Man ignored the girl's comment, eyes trained on the sword she'd manifested in her hand. "Is that a sword made of pure ice?!" he asked gleefully. It certainly looked that way! He was about to ask this girl more, when reality set in.

His glanced at his web trap, lying in frozen shards upon the concrete. As he looked between the sword the girl held, the shards on the ground, and Batfang caught between the lot of them... the girl's intentions became painfully clear.

Spider-Man wasn't upset with her for freezing his webs before they could bind Batfang, not at all. This girl hadn't just had her memories wiped, she'd been turned into something else entirely. A rampaging monstrosity. It was only by chance that Peter had gotten there in time and prevented the beast from getting loose through the city.

"We can hand her over to S.H.I.E.L.D," Spider-Man said to Lily, offering her a sympathetic look (albeit one hidden by a scarlet mask). He knew well that numerous teachers had affiliations to the organization, and would happily see to it that Batfang spent the rest of her days in a cold cell.

She shook it off as he brought up a solution:"she would only escape, besides im sure she has allies to get her out....."

If Batfang had allies on the inside, then locking her up might just what she wanted. He sighed, wracking his brain for a solution.

And then he remembered what the villainess had said earlier.

If you break that my powers will be cursed and broken. Don't you dare!

Spider-Man was still holding the spear. There was only one solution. One guarantee that the madness would end.

He held the spear high, both hands wrapped tightly around it. And then, with the vast strength vested in his arms, he began to exert enormous pressure on it. He wanted to break the spear in half.

Batfang tries to stop him

Swift grunted as Batfang’s blow landed, falling onto the ground, then turned to see the other (apparent) hero backflip onto the school gate. Okay, I’m going to admit that he’s got some pretty wicked skills. Then, instead of leaping back in to attack the villainess again, he stopped to give an inspiring speech about doing the right thing. Oh. Okay. Weird flex, but okay.
She frowned, seeing someone else appear and the white monster turn back into the girl she’d seen earlier-

Suddenly everything came back to her, who she was, her family, the Gambit and her training. “Holy shit,” she breathed in shock. That was some... very inelegant combat I just did. Anyone who knows me would be appalled.
The webslinger held Batfang’s staff in his hands, seemingly bracing himself to break it; one of the others objected, but another urged him on. A curse? That definitely doesn’t sound good. “Wait!” she called out, and came toward them, looking at Sylvester to ask him, “What do you mean it’ll curse us?”

Lily look at swift:"it will make her fall ill and slowly go into a comma, the same might happen to the one that breaks it...."

Sylvester nod but wince a bit having a hard time breathing:"yeah we cant let that happen...."
