First of all we have 2 new members, GrieveWriter and FROSTBITE4395, so please remember to include them in posts from now on! At this point FROSTBITE4395 is currently in the classroom, having already made it back from the mountains, and we are awaiting the intro post for GrieveWriter's character. This brings our student total to 17!
Now, Dragonlord318 has requested I do another role call due to the fact that some players have had sparse posts that are under the required post length. To reiterate, this is at least 3 *full* lines per post on PC, and 5 on mobile. You should know who you are.
Once again, if you have been @'ed in this post and wish to continue posting in the MHA Next Class RP, please reply with 'Y' within 48 hours of this post. If not, please reply with 'N'. If the DMs and I don't see a response from you within the allotted time, we will boot you from the RP at our discretion. Please understand we want everyone's writing to be full and engaging for the benefit of the story. From what I've seen personally, we have a very friendly and respectful group here (), so if you feel you need help with your writing in any area, please put a request in the OOC chat and I'm sure one of our members or the DMs will be happy to help!
We have decided that these roll calls will happen every week, or if 2 pages worth of content is added to any of the RP chats. So expect the next roll call sometime next Wednesday, unless you guys get a lot of posting in! (That being said, give everyone the chance to reply to your interaction before making a new post. That goes for everyone). I've enjoyed our story so far and I hope to see it continue. I hope you guys do as well.

HerculePyro Dragonlord318 Would Lauren's heart rate be heightened at this point due to the Recipro thing?

EDIT: I mean from te point of view of an outsider of course though

We need to stop calling it recipro, the actual name of her ability is Instant FYI.
No it wouldn't, her power is like a light switch (currently) on or off. Would've been massively heightened when active and as a result of the pain, but now it'd just be recovering.
TBH she's unconscious now so I assume she'd have a slow heart rate.

HerculePyro I literally just realized my mistake as you posted the response, but that does help explain it.

But I realize now that I should have also asked if it would have been heightened to a point that would make it noticeable that it had been higher?

Normally the heart tends to take a few minutes to get back to the resting heart rate after being heightened, and if I'm correct, the higher it is, the longer it tends to take.

I realized it definitely should not be anything super crazy at this point, but if it would be high enough to cause concern even though it's slowing back down.


(Of course, I'm thinking of a time period of at most 10 minutes between her going unconcisous and Chris checking for a pulse).

Or Lauren just hits her head again, it has not been a good day for her.

Actually Webs Elk I'll treat it like this, her heart rate is fine, but her BP has skyrocketed, I don't know if Chris can tell that. The heart was only fast during her use of instant (it's not even fast when her basic power is active) but it pumped a tonne of blood and now its normal again but her body is still pumped up... high BP can have some bad side effects

Everyone in the infirmary, you're going to be there for a bit, so chat it up, make your own Nurse/Doc NPCs, etc. DO NOT check your character out. One of the DMs or I will post when that happens.
