Mare couldn't help but chuckle at Whimsy's comment. She wasn't that scary, was she? Jay maybe but not her.

Mare was taking a look around the room when Whimsy called attention to an odd rock. It was sort of a purple-ish color and had an odd symbol on it but was otherwise completely unremarkable. The Pokemon, on the other hand, didn't seem to think so. Queen was growling and looking up at where the stone was with a combination of fear and anger. Considering that Mare had never seen Queen show even a small bit of fear this had her worried. She opened her mouth to ask Queen what was wrong but before she got the chance purple and green light errupted from the stone.

Music Box: Spiritomb's Curse
The stream of Purple and Green light enveloped the room, covering it until all that could be seen was green and purple with twisted eyes and mouths. The objects in the room seemingly dissapeared leaving just the stone floating there and the protagonists. A twisted voice spoke.

"Hello."

It was a like a million raspy voices all speaking at once into a fan. It was horrible to listen to.

"Welcme to our home"

"G-Gracia! Please, wait for us!"
When Gracia verbally mentioned hearing her partner Whimsy's excitement grew until Gracia took off. She had to bite her tongue when Ezra called out to the young girl while he tried to run after her. "Yeah Gracia," she managed to get out with very minimal snickers, "Wait for us!" Soon enough Whimsy was also giving chase, well as best she could.
"Hey wait up!" Mare called.
Gracia stopped when they reached the room Hades was waiting in/at, laughing it off. "S-Sorry!" She said impulsively, letting out a little noise of 'I mean it' and then looked to the door itself, unable to read whatever it said on it. "...Eh?" She sounded verily confused - as though it may have meant something, but now it does not. Perhaps it still does, but they can't read it... Weird.
Finally, they arrived at their destination. The door was ajar and had a gold nameplate affixed on it. The nameplate was scratched and unreadable but it was easy to tell it was a four letter word.
Gracia would approach the door with the others and would rationally peer on in, noticing a computer that Ezra would also notice. Her expression lit up vividly - that's what they were looking for! Gracia managed a proud smile as if she was proud and happy for/with her Dusclops - so it 'was' worth sending him out on the search, for they now have exactly what they need!
The first thing he thought he saw was a computer. "Bingo!" Ezra grinned. They could finally contact Wattson and get the info off there before Magma or Aqua could get their hands on it. Of course, not noticing anything else in the room, he went to step in, still shining his torch in at the computer. "Guess we don't have to wander around aimlessly for looking for a computer terminal anymore. We'll be out of here in no time at all."
Ghost glanced around the dimly lit room, "Espurr esp (This room holds an ominous feeling)," the psychic type mewed as he glanced towards Hades, "Es espurr, espurr (Ah you must be the one called Hades, pleasure)."
"Clooops (That is me, yes)... Dus... clops (Is nice find)?" The Dusclops groaned, staggering over to the rest of the group, but before he could return to his trainer, the stone he had found seemed to emanate a presence, making the Dusclops look back on it. "Dusc (Who goes there)?!" He boomed, Gracia managing a yelp as he lashed out simply, and they were met with... whatever this thing was.

Gracia heard this voice and just froze on the spot. She had no idea what this thing was, and just stared back at it with a vacantly terrified expression. Hades backed off a little bit, recognising the creature before them. "Dusclops... Dus, dus clops (This being is... a Spiritomb)!" He warned the others, knowing of the species in question. Gracia remained frozen for a bit, with Hades before her and just waiting on the motions of this now alive stone. What was it doing here, and why? It made sense for a Ghost-type being here, Hades thought, but something was off... Gracia dared not to say anything, as she would much rather leave this to Hades. Perhaps the Dusclops would much rather be diplomatic with this fellow Ghost-type than attack it; seeing as they're not fighting right away, which would be the most likely occurrence in such an area like this - where Pokemon irrationally attack any trainer and their Pokemon whenever they wish, usually upon sight. "Clops... clop-clops (What are you... doing here, fellow ghost)?" Hades spoke once more, definitely trying to converse with this amalgamation of all sorts of souls and voices while Gracia remained behind him, hiding her evident fear.

Ezra couldn't help but chuckle at the comment about Mare himself, and he opened his mouth to comment, "Maybe they already heard them coming and scampered off." He eventually got to the terminal, holding the flashlight up in his left hand while he fiddled with the necessary technology with his right hand. He was busy mumbling to himself, entirely focused on getting the computer up and running before contacting Wattson. He wondered how old this thing really was. Probably as old as the oversized brick that his dad still used at home. He shuddered at the thought of that thing. It was as old as Ezra was.

Meanwhile, it seemed as if Hoots, much like Queen, seemed aggrivated at the 'rock' that Whimsy had mentioned. But again, her trainer had been off in his own world trying to turn this dastardly thing on, and hadn't even taken heed of the other sounds emitting from the Pokémon. Hoots had shuffled close enough to Ezra, grabbing his right arm sleeve with her beak, tugging at it to get his attention.

Ezra glanced to Hoots, just as he thought he knew how to turn this thing on, and he looked at her with furrowed brows. "What is it?" Though, before Hoots could indicate towards the 'rock' nearby, the entire room was caked in purples and greens, with twisted eyes boring into each one of them there, and mouths that seemed as if they could laugh at them. As if the sight didn't freak Ezra out enough, his hands flew straight to his ears at the sudden amalgamation of voices, with Hoots tryng to shield her own ears from the horrible sounds.

As Gracia's Dusclops began to try and communicate with the strange Pokémon, with the poor Trainer hiding behind Hades (Ezra really couldn't blame her), Ezra blinked as he readjusted his glasses. He tried to the identify the Pokémon, and eventually came upon the conclusion of, "A Spiritomb? Here?" Though Ezra would usually be quite excitable about the discoveries of Pokémon such as this, he remembered that Spiritombs were usually anything but friendly; rather, malicious and aggressive.

Mare stepped slowly away from the stone in fear. It would be a lie to say that Mare had never felt fear before. There was a time in which she was scared almost every single day of her life. But now... well, most people who knew her would say she was fearless, almost to a fault. This was mainly because she supplemented her fear for anger, but nonetheless, to the outside observer it seemed like she was one of the bravest people in the world. Therefor, her being visibly scared of something meant that something was seriously wrong.

"How rude." The Spiritomb said. Mare covered her ears. "This is our home. Why else would we be here."

There was a pause during which everything was completely silent before the Spiritomb spoke again.

"It has been so long since we have had guests. Tell us, why are you here?"

As Jay stood outside the door, arms still crossed, his ears flicked at the sound of Queen's growls. Something's not right, the Pokémon thought as an ominous feeling started growing in his chest. His suspicions were further confirmed as he watched Hoots inch her way inside the room towards Ezra. The feeling grew much stronger forcing him to quickly make his way into the room and look to where his own trainer was. Seeing just what the source of all the other Pokémon's worries, minus Ghost who seemed to be brainlessly fearless, Jay threw his human illusion up in a flash. "Get away from that thing Whimsy," he growled while pulling the girl into him.

Whimsy yelped as she fell back into Jay just as the room started to warp into a mass of greens and purples, a faces soon rising from the crack in the stone. The sound that soon followed reminded the girl of a ear piercing guitar rift forcing her to cover her ears. Ghost following his trainer's lead while Jay gritted his teeth and hugged Whimsy as close to him as physically possible. Leaning in once it went quiet he mumbled, "It claims that this is its home," eyes locked onto the Pokémon to make sure nothing got by him. Whimsy's hands slowly slipped from her ears in time to hear Ezra speak of what it was, a Spiritomb, I wonder how it got here, glancing at the rock it resided in curiously. This was a strange predicament they were all in; however, it felt safer than their previous one a day before. At least to her it did. Ghost looked around at the others before tugging on Whimsy's hair gently to gain her attention. "What is it Ghost?" Now having it he pointed to the girls with his paw so that his trainer may see what he was seeing.

Standing there not too far away she could see the fear in both Gracia and Mare's eyes. The fact that Mare was shaken by this worried Whimsy as Mare seemed to have been the rock of the group, or an unmoving brick wall.
This isn't good... Whipping her head the other way she looked to Ezra who appeared to be stunned by everything, He's not bursting with factoids... this really isn't good...

Once again the loud screech ripped through the room, like scissors through wrapping paper, causing Whimsy to cover her ears once more. When all had grown silent her partner mumbled in her ear, "This is their home Whimsy, their territory. We cannot upset them anymore than we possibly have.... They say they haven't had guests in a while and are wanting to know the reason that we're all here." Blue eyes glancing back at the Zoroark in disguise she bit her lip nervously. One wrong move could spell disaster for them all, and they were all so scared. A couple more scared than the rest. But so far the Spiritomb wasn't attacking them or making any threats to. It just seemed like it wanted a civil conversation. Turning head to look at her friends Whimsy narrowed her eyes as her facial expression changed from fright to determination, "Ok, it got this. I can do this," she muttered encouragingly to herself before wiggling out of Jay's grasp. Now being free she turned her full attention to Spiritomb, but now she was donning a gleeful expression.

"You have a very lovely home," Whimsy complimented as she gestured to the whole room, "It was rather exciting to explore. The thrill of not knowing what was around the corner made it all rather riveting." Jay watched both the girl and the ghost type carefully as he watched her interacting with Spiritomb as if it were now different than a Skitty. Ghost moved to Whimsy's shoulder as she had started to rub the back of her neck, "I'm sorry that we came here uninvited, and without properly asking if we could come in. But we're only here because someone sent us to delete data that got left. There are these bad people, you see, that want this same data, but if they get it first then everything in Hoenn will be in ruins. That's why we're here to make sure that doesn't happen." Then, out of respect, Whimsy bowed her head, "I promise that once our job is done we'll leave your home just as we found it, and we won't be back unless properly invited by you," she said to Spiritomb before picking her head back up to look at it.

There was a pause as the Spiritomb muttered to itself, seemingly in contemplation. "We do like the region. Lot's of food. But it has been so long..."

Mare glanced at Queen. She was surprised to see that the poor Poochyena was lying on the ground with her paws over her ears, whimpering. Mare couldn't exactly blame her. Guess she wasn't going to be any help if things went south.

The Spiritomb spoke up again, causing Mare to cover her ears. "We have decided to help you." Parts of the green and purple darkness causeed by the Spiritomb cleared, revealing part of the desk with the computer on it. "You will need a password correct? We know it. It is Perf3(tI0n. There were a number of indications pointing to how this situation was anything but a good one. One, Mare looking as if she saw a ghost (or rather, that she had seen the Spiritomb and was promptly aware of the dangers it posed to them), Gracia's own fearfulness in shielding herself behind Hades, and the reactions of their Pokémon companions (both shielding their ears from the nightmarish garble of voices and otherwise cowering from or reacting with bravado towards the mysterious Pokémon). Quite honestly, Ezra wasn't sure whether to start spewing factoids in a fit of nervousness or whether that would make the entire situation worse. He used to do that, when he was much younger. It was the only thing that could make him feel better in such a situation. Now, not so much, seeing as he was faced with the Pokémon he'd be spewing facts about.

As soon as the cacophony of voices began again, Ezra's hands flew back up to his ears again after realising it still wasn't safe for them to be exposed. Hoots had fallen into the same trap. Her wings did little to block out the noise, so she was exposed to the full force of the noise. Her hearing was impeccable; she had always screeched at Ezra mumbling something under his breath if they were in disagreement. He loathed to think of the pain that wracked her brain as she stumbled over to him, wanting to bury her head underneath his sweater for some peace.

Upon the Spiritomb asking for their reasonings for being here, there was a pause. Ezra wasn't sure whether to fill the silence of that pause, to tell it the truth, or to make up some lie, or to bow down to it and beg forgiveness for trespassing upon its 'home'. Though, it was no Dialga, or Entei, or a Lugia, certainly no Arceus, but the fear enough would have made Ezra do it regardless. For once, the young man was speechless and stunned stupid.

Before he could make any of his prior suggestions that he had been thinking up, Whimsy was the one to step forward and put her own plan into action. She was being...civil, rather friendly with it, as if it were simply a normal conversation with any one of her own companions. Ezra's stomach lurched. He was waiting for the Spiritomb to decide not to listen to Whimsy for a moment longer, or to blow them and this ship to smithereens...could a Spiritomb do that? Ezra attempted a search in his brain for what type the Pokémon was and what attacks it actually had, but he was coming up with blanks in his own nervousness. I hope she knows what she's doing...or at least the thing listens...

The Spiritomb spoke once again, and Ezra felt Hoots press her head further against his body. The lurch in his stomach rose to his chest, and he only hoped that whatever started to brew in his chest would fade away. Thankfully, it did, after it had been decided the Spiritomb would help them. Though the voices sounded like nails on a chalkboard and Ezra's head started to pound, he managed to cringe and stick it long enough to hear that the Spiritomb would provide the password, and even revealed part of the desk with the computer. It took a moment for him to gather his strength and courage again, but he moved back to the computer to find it had booted up, and asked for the password.

With each painful letter (and symbol, funny enough) being revealed, Ezra keyed in the password. He had wondered if it really was the right password, or if it was a password to blow up this entire ship and them on it...Ezra had enough exposure to explosions following the Mauville Incident. He had dreamed of explosions the night before. Now all he could think about were explosions, naturally. He finally hit enter, and though it took a bit, the screen went blank, before it started to load up an entirely different screen. He squinted at it.

"Okay, I think it's loading now..."

There was a pause during which everything was completely silent before the Spiritomb spoke again.

"It has been so long since we have had guests. Tell us, why are you here?"
Hades was about to respond, but didn't see the point - yet in the mean time, Gracia pestered the ghost type Hades. "Psst. Hades. Keep an eye on the door, just in case, OK?" She whispered to him, to which Hades nodded and went to survey the door with his one eye as the conversation between the rest of the cast and the deafening Spiritomb. Like Mare, Gracia also couldn't stand the sound of Spiritomb's speaking - yet her reaction was not to cover her ears, but just stand there in surprise as her horror grows. She would 'also' attempt to speak up, yet before she could, Whimsy did.
Gracia listened to her speak, and one could see Hades give a thumbs up of approval in the background as she finished speaking. The incident wasn't quite over, and Spiritomb's deafening speaking once again rattled the room and sent Gracia back down into that fearful state of hers, staring at the swirling abyss of several dozen souls that make up Spiritomb itself. It was sort of hypnotising, looking at it - but maybe that's the least of their worries?
The Spiritomb spoke up again, causing Mare to cover her ears. "We have decided to help you." Parts of the green and purple darkness caused by the Spiritomb cleared, revealing part of the desk with the computer on it. "You will need a password correct? We know it. It is Perf3(tI0n. Rather arrogant, the man who owned this computer was."
Gracia heard and smiled, noticing Ezra already getting to it already after receiving the password. With a sigh of relief and a modest yet thankful smile on her face, she spoke up. "Well, that went smoothly... Then again, I guess it does get lonely in the middle of nowhere..." She sort of sympathised for Spiritomb now that she thinks on it - a Pokemon being not where it originally was, but stays for the food and the region itself, in the midst of a broken-to-no-ends ship. Hades was standing guard at the door in case unexpected guests show up, for Gracia had great confidence in his resistances. She spoke once more. "...Regardless, I'd like to apologise for the intrusion, and as she said," she briefly pointed to Whimsy, "we will be out of here as swiftly as we can." Gracia couldn't help but let out a gleeful giggle after speaking those words from her mind. Sweet relief.

Excitement flowed off of Whimsy when she heard Spiritomb agreeing to help them out. Even though its voice was harsh that didn't really matter to her at the moment, she was too happy over the fact that they were getting help. It only grew when Ezra said that the computer was booting up. Reaching up at her shoulder the girl picked Ghost up off it, then hugged him close to her. "Thank you so much Spiritomb! We appreciate this so much," Whimsy beamed happily at the ghost type Pokémon that occupied the room.

Though as the room grew silent again Whimsy started to reflect on what the Pokémon had said before offering its assistance, and what Gracia had mentioned. Could it be possible be lonely? Well the ship was in the middle of the ocean, and only a select few Pokémon lived here according to Ezra. It wasn't hard to believe that Spiritomb is lonely. But how in the world did it get here in the first place? Well, there was only one sure fired way to find all those out.
"May I ask you a question," Whimsy spoke up as she looked at the purple and green Pokémon with a slightly concerned expression, "Are you maybe lonely, or wanting to leave this place someday? I only ask because it seems like you've been outside this ship at one point in your life." Jay glanced over at his trainer rather suspiciously when she started to speak again, Don't tell me she's thinking of bringing it along if it really does want to leave, he thought to himself. The possible outcome wasn't too bad, but its voice might upset the other's every know and then.

The Spiritomb began whisperimg to itself again. Mare wondered if this was a thing with it. Now that the situation seemed to be cooling down, she was beginning to regain her normal composure. Queen, however, was still agitated.

"We have been rather lonely." The Spiritomb said. "And hungry. We would never eat you, of course" Well that was "reassuring." "And we haven't seen the sun in so long."

Whilst Hades and gone and stood like a regular Pokémon bouncer of a club at the door, and Whimsy had embroiled herself in conversation with the Spiritomb, Ezra set about searching for the information they needed hidden on the computer. He hesitated calling Wattson, for the reason the Spiritomb thought him arrogant and clearly had a dislike for him. At least, he theorised that was who the Spiritomb was talking about. He didn't want to have it completely abandon their trust for them after Whimsy had worked so hard to earn it in the first instance. So, instead, it was him, and his thoughts, and the gruelling search through several folders. Plus, the slow speed.

Ezra's attention dipped in and out of conversation. He heard snippets of Whimsy and Gracia keeping the Pokémon busy with conversation, only to place all his focus on the search for the files. Mare had been unusually quiet. He wasn't sure if Magma and Aqua were close behind them, after all, and he felt another scare would send his nervous system spiralling. For once, Hoots had her focus on the screen too, clearly wanting to take her mind off from the Spiritomb and its amalgamation of voices. It wasn't very often Hoots actually took an interest in computers, or at least, not for the longest time. She always preferred to preen her feathers or take a good long nap.

Ezra, much like Jay, was curious about Whimsy's questions to the Spiritomb. Even if it did want to go outside this ship again, would one of them take it? Keep it? Or release it outside? Ezra wasn't one to meddle with Ghost Pokémon - or at least, the ones that looked more ghostly and otherworldly than others. Though it seemed he could handle the likes of a Spiritomb since he never ran out of the room screaming, he wasn't overly fond of them. After a trek through a certain tower in a certain town in Kanto, the legends of the spirits of dead Pokémon floating around had haunted him ever since.

Eventually, he found the right folder, and in turn, found the right file. He couldn't help but exclaim, "Yes, I found it!" It was then that he started to transfer the file onto the pendrive provided by Wattson.

"That sounds terrible," Whimsy mumbled rather sadly as she listened to Spiritomb speak of how long its been trapped here on this abandoned ship. She didn't doubt that after a while it would get lonely in a place like this. It broke her heart honestly. Though her thoughts were broken as Ezra's rejoice rung in the air of having found what they were looking for. Turning her head to look over at him Whimsy smiled brightly, "That's great Ezra! I knew you'd find it," she exclaimed joyfully before her attention was once again back on Spiritomb.

Jay glanced over at his trainer when he noticed her looking back at the ghost type that owned the room they all stood in.
"Just what do you plan on doing Whimsy?" His voice dropped to a low volume as he placed a hand on her shoulder, squeezing it gently. The girl hummed, "You'll see," while brushing her Zoroark's "hand" off her before reaching into her pocket and brushing her fingertips against the shrunken Ultra Ball she had brought with her in case they ran into any Pokémon she could capture. All her other items were back in the hotel room store away in her guitar case since she didn't have a backpack to carry all of her stuff in like the others.

Taking a deep breath Whimsy smile softly at the Spiritomb before she spoke,
"I know what it's like feeling trapped in one place, not knowing when you might be able to break out," she told it softly, "But if you're alright with it, I'd like to help you get out of here. Whether I carry you out of here as we leave, catch you in a Poke Ball and release you, or if you want to go on a journey and see the world I would be more than happy to have you as a part of my team, and as a friend!"

Gracia heard Whimsy speak up to the Spiritomb, and Gracia herself couldn't help but crack a smile as if she approved greatly of this. Spiritomb has a reason to leave, and Whimsy seems to have a motive in tandem - it lines up pretty nicely for the trainer. Gracia knows this all too well, smiling wide and watching the scene unfold before her eyes - almost as if she had hope for her friend in this 'come with me' message to the currently wild Spiritomb. She stopped and stared for a moment, feeling her mind drag her back by force...
Location: Unova Region, Route 3 (Pokemon Day Care Centre)
Time: Roughly 1 PM, 2010

This particular memory was but one year ago, when Gracia was in the Unova region mid-journey. It wasn't too long after her first gym battle and victory in Striaton City, so she promptly continued - and was met with the Pokemon Day Care Centre on Route 3. Curious, the one-year younger Gracia went on in to find out what was going on. There were many, many Pokemon within its walls - being left behind by their trainers and to they who are in charge of the Centre itself. Gracia's immediate reaction was more intrigue than before - and as she would begin to look around, she would also notice a fair share of leftover eggs in the corner of the backroom - for she could peer into it slightly.

It was then that Gracia had an idea, and with that, she approached the counter to ask about the eggs in the back that she could see. She was greeted with an explanation of what the Pokemon Day Care Centre is, but after that was out of the way, this is the conversation that unfolded...

"Can I help you?"
"Maybe - what's with those eggs in the back?"
"The eggs? Oh, those eggs? They're Pokemon Eggs, silly! We have been keeping some eggs left behind after a while, and yet nobody has come to collect them. We still keep an eye on them though - who knows when they'll hatch?"
"Hmm... Oh! I've got an idea! How about I take one or more off your hands? Less work for you guys, and the newborn get to see the world when they emerge from those eggs in question! Everyone wins!"
"Well... That would be a good idea, but... There are so many, and-"
"I'm going to stop you 'right there'. You said these eggs were left behind? What's the problem with giving them out and letting passerby trainers take them in and care for said eggs until they hatch into the inner Pokemon?"
"...True enough."
"So how about it? I hope this isn't a problem..."
"Well, it's as you said, so... Alright. Hold on..."

Right as she went to get a bulk of the eggs out - two of them had already burst open, and the inner Pokemon from them were now out in the back of the Day Care Centre. A short 'find the newborn Pokemon' later, they were a Deino and a Larvesta - just freshly born out of eggs. Gracia figured - they just hatched, and she was already going to take one or two, with the woman's permission...

"Hey, can I just take those two that just hatched?"

After an amount of time had passed, Gracia had two new team members - a Deino and a Larvesta, both of which had hatched from those eggs. They are now known as Hydra the Hydreigon, and Ignis the Larvesta. Seeing her friend in the present approach Spiritomb for aligning reasons made her think back to when she got them both, and she can't help but tear up...
Meanwhile, back in reality, Gracia stared at the scene with that smile on her face and slight tears from remembering similar - she'll be fine, they are emotional and happy tears. She just can't help but think back on when things were much easier, and opted to remain silent.

Ezra couldn't help but feel a warmth at hearing Whimsy's praise. Of course, he knew he could do it, even if the computer was miles behind the current technology they had today, but he felt some pride in his abilities here today. Was it because he felt like he was useful in this circumstance, or that he just like the affirmation from others? He wasn't quite sure himself. Ezra continued to keep his attention on the file as it was being moved over to the pendrive, his dread having faded away by now.

Though, upon hearing Whimsy's various suggestions to the Spiritomb, especially at taking it along with them, he couldn't help but spin in his chair at her offering it a place on her team. Hoots seemed abhorred by the idea, no less to the grating noises of the Spiritomb on her poor ears. Ezra, although nervous of the idea, was intrigued by what it would answer with. Maybe, if it came along with them, he could learn so much from it, perhaps record more than had already been recorded on such Spiritombs. Of course, he wouldn't subject a being like it to countless questions and endless research - that was the rest of his team's job, after all.

As the conversation was taking place, he heard a ping! come from the computer, and he turned to find a notification that the transfer of the right files were completed. He smiled, and he murmured, "Ah, perfect." Making sure to eject the pendrive correctly (because Ezra found it abhorrent that anyone should risk simply yanking the pendrive out instead of ejecting it via the PC functions), he safely stowed it away on his person. Hoots, for one, cooed softly, seeming relieved that they would be leaving this horrid place soon (or at least, they hoped so).

As Ezra was about to announce the task they came here for was now complete, his eyes stopped on Gracia, who seemed absent minded and almost...nostalgic. Were those...tears in her eyes, or was it a trick of the horrible light that Spiritomb gave off? "Gracia? Are you alright?"

"E-Eh?" Gracis snapped back to reality, wiping the tears from her eyes. "I-I'm OK, just a bit nostalgic, that's all. Don't worry about it, yeah?" She said to him reassuringly - and verily hoping he would do exactly that - not worrying. She flashed a smile to the group and looked to Hades who was still guarding the door, and tried to recollect herself. She seemed to be OK, just a bit shaken after zoning out then being 'woken up'. She would have explained, but at the same time, she thinks now is not the time to do that when something far more important is going on.

Greens eyes locked onto the blonde haired teen who stood before it. Gazing at Whimsy's blue eyes made the ghost type soften up a bit, "What is your name child," it asked in a lower tone of voice, making it slightly less loud than it had been since they all entered the room. "My name is Whimsy," she replied with her unwavering smile, "Whimsy.. A peculiar name, but it suits you." Spiritomb slowly started to retract itself from covering the whole room, revealing the beat wooden walls and floor once again as it took its normal shape. The feeling of any intimidation Whimsy had left faded as the room went back to being of a normal state.

"I would like to accompany you, Whimsy, on your journey. These walls may be my home, but they hold nothing for me anymore." Whimsy's eyes seemingly lit up as she listened to Spiritomb's answer regarding her offer, "You will! You really will," the teen squealed excitedly. Without missing a beat she pulled the Ultra ball that was tucked away in her pocket, clicking the button so that it expanded to normal size. Spiritomb gazed at Whimsy as it nodded, "But I would like a name of my own for you to call me by," it told her, causing the girl to pause her excitement before going into deep thought. A few minutes passed before she snapped her head up to beam happily at the ghost type, "How about Alistair? I heard that it means protector, and since you've been keeping watch over this ship is seems that it suits you nicely." The Pokémon hummed happily, nodding approvingly before allowing itself to be captured.

Giggling and jumping around excitedly as she turned to face the group. After taking a few seconds to calm down Whimsy cleared her throat, a bit embarrassed, she proudly announced to her friends,
"I caught a Spiritomb! Having Alistair around is going to make this adventure even more exciting!" Jay was still in a bit of disbelief at how his trainer was able to accomplish what she had done, but that's how Whimsy ended up with all her Pokémon. No real fighting, simply just trying to make friends wherever she went. "Goofball," he mumbled while ruffling the girl's hair.

Ezra tried to hold back a frown at Gracia's reaction, her insisting it was simply a nostalgic reaction that had brought on some tears instead of anything else. He did try not to worry about it...but no promises there. His attention turned back to the present moment, where it seemed Whimsy and Spiritomb were getting on well together. So well, that the room came out of its creepy Halloween disco-esque lighting and revealled the water damaged and aging interior of the room and its ship.

Ezra tried to hold back his visible surprise at the ghost's desire to join Whimsy on her journey. Hoots, was less than ecstatic, given her displeasure at listening to the Spiritomb speak. He'd have to get ear plugs for her. Poor thing could hear anything from miles away. After agreeing on a name - that Ezra would agree did quite suit it, the newly dubbed Alistair allowed himself to find his new home inside an Ultra Ball, and Whimsy turned around, not quite able to contain her excitement. Ezra couldn't help but share in the same excitement.

"I know! Just think of all the things we could learn from Spirit-! sorry, Alistair!" Ezra chuckled a little, already that awe-eyed look appearing once again. Hoots shook her head, cooing softly in something that would be akin to, "Is that all you think about?" She gestured to the pendrive in Ezra's hands with another hoot, and he was brought back to the present moment. "Oh! Yes, of course. I got the file we needed," Ezra brandished the pendrive, wiggling it proudly in his hands. "So, we'll be able to get out of here as soon as we can!"

Suddenly, the comm devices the four had been given made static noises and a voice came from the other side. Mare shouted in surprise.

"Hello! Is anyone there!"

It was Josh.

"Jeez!" Mare said. "Couldn't you be a little quiter?"

"I've been trying to reach you for ages but didn't get an answer!" Josh said. "Team Aqua and Magma have entered the building!"

As if on cue, two magma grunts and one aqua grunt burst into the room, a Poochyena, Numel, and Salandit at their sides.

"Aha! We finally got in here!" The First Magma Grunt shouted triumphantly.

"Let's get those files!" The Aqua Grunt shouted, looking just as drunk as the others they'd faced.

Mare smiled. Finally something more up her alley. This was going to be fun.

"Not on my watch!" She shouted, jumping in front of the three grunts, Queen alongside here.

"Hey! What's a kid doing here!" The Second Magma Grunt shouted.

"Who cares!" The First Magma Grunt responded. "She's obviously in our way! Numel, attack!"

The Numel ran forward to attack her but Queen jumped and knocked it out of the way, snarling.

"Square up!" She yelled at the First Magma Grunt, taking on a fighting stance. "Only one of us is walking away with all our teeth and that's gonna be me!"

The sharp static of the comms sounded in their ears, causing Ezra to wince. Though, as the crackled voice of Josh started to come through, he listened in, though, Mare did most of the answering for them. He was about to answer after Josh had lamented about his difficulty in getting through to them - he figured the interference was because of Alistair's shenanigans - though, heard the frantic, concerned tone of his on the other end. Before he even mentioned Magma and Aqua, he knew that something was up. "W-wait, what...?"

Before he could get another answer, Ezra froze at the sight of two Magma Grunts - and quite the inebriated Aqua Grunt, though, not unusual - and three Pokémon; a Poochyena, Numel, and Salandit. Crap, they had already made it onto the ship before they could make it off! Not wanting to risk them getting their hands on the memory stick, he managed to slip it into his bag close to him whilst the scuffle between the Numel and Queen had taken place.

Almost knowing what the routine was by now, Hoots lifted herself into the air - or as far as the ceiling would let her at least - and found herself by Queen's side. She had an idea in that head of hers, and normally she wouldn't act on such ideas of her own without say Ezra issuing orders, but perhaps it was their ticket out of here. It would take a bit of time to fully lead them over into sleep, but it was still worth a shot. Hoots' eyes suddenly glowed, and she stared from each Magma grunt, the Aqua grunt, and the three Pokémon if she could make eye contact with them. Whether or not they resisted it or not, time would tell. Otherwise, a few of them were starting to feel rather sleepy...

Being drunk, the Aqua Grunt was the first to go down. "Whathhh goin on." He said. "I'm feelin... so shleepy..." And he collapsed.

Magma Grunt Two massaged her temples. "Ugh. These Aqua Folks are incompetent. Downed by a simple hypnosis. Pathetic."

"Yeah."
Said Magma Grunt One. "I can't believe we have to-" Whatever he was going to say will never be known because it was at that point that Mare chose to sock him in the jaw.

"What part of square up don't you understand!" She shouted rhetorically.

"Oh, I understand plenty!" Magma Grunt One said. "You're going down, kid!"

The Grunt threw his own punch, aimed straight at Mare's face. She dodged it just in time and retaliated with a punch of her own that was also dodged. This went on for a while with the two trading blows, most of them being dodged though one or two of Mare's connected. This ended when the Magma Grunt threw a punch and Mare decided to do something stupid. She tried to catch his punch.

Were this an action movie, this would have worked, but this is sadly not an action movie. The Grunt's hand was much bigger than hers and therefor, when the two hands connected, shoved Mare's arm backwards. Thankfully, despite this not being an action movie, it is still fiction and instead of Mare's joints being permanently messed up the force simply dislocated her shoulder, something much easier to fix.

Mare screamed in pain and fell backwards, releasing a stream of words in Kantonese that will not be translated here.

"Ha. Looks like I'll be the one walking away with all my teeth." Magma Grunt One said, grinning. Ironically, he was missing one tooth.

The Grunt lifted Mare up by the shirt, just like the one at Mauville City. With her dominant arm out of commision and her not having enough momentum(?) to use her left she used the only option she had left. Before the Grunt knew what happened, she swung herself backwards and used that momentum to kick him in the balls. The Grunt released her and stumbled backwards before finally succumbing to the hypnosis and collapsing. Mare herself chose to just lie where she fell since her dislocated arm foiled any attempt of hers to sit up.

As the Aqua and Magma grunts entered, Gracia gasped as well - what the heck was Hades doing?! He had 'one job', and somehow he failed! No matter, he did his job. Gracia returned Hades to his Pokeball, and prepared a different one. What they 'needed' to do was disable the grunts somehow, and Gracia had just the Pokemon for the job! She chuckled and dropped the Pokeball she picked out behind her - which set loose her Kirlia she had been seen with before, during the Mauville attack. Gracia snapped her fingers then pointed to the grunts. "Hope you're good with heights. Use Psychic, Evergreen!" She commanded and the Kirlia revealed itself from behind Gracia, lifting itself up with Psychic as it intended to do the same with the grunts and restrain them with the psychic energy. In doing so, this would leave them vulnerable and borderline helpless! If this worked, they'd have to go after Evergreen with their Pokemon, but Gracia is confident enough she could handle this - let her do her part!

The screeching of static, and almost metal on metal sounds, blared through Whimsy's earpiece, causing her to yelp and wither in pain. Josh's voice soon came past the noise which had vanished. As Mare barked at him for taking so long the teen picked up on the notes of worry in the man's voice before he then mentioned that their "friends" from the other day had decided to show up. Then almost as if on cue two in red and a drunk in blue barged through the door, ready for a fight.

There was little time to react as Mare started to engage them with Queen and Hoots at her side. Whimsy looked around the room a bit anxiously when she caught a quick glance of Ezra hiding the hard drive in his bag. Good, at least that was safe for the moment. When she turned back to the fight Mare had started her stream of yelling and swearing, it wasn't hard to tell she was seriously hurt by looking at her shoulder. Thankfully for them Mare's swift kick and Hoot's Hypnosis seemed to do the trick as the grunts all fell; but only momentarily as Evergreen used her powers to suspend them mid-air in case they tried anything. "Mare!" Whimsy shouted frantically as she ran to her friend's side. Dropping to her knees then gingerly wrapping her arm around the brunette and pulling her close as gently as she could, "I know that you're strong, but know your limits," she chuckled softly while putting a small smile on to help ease her friend's pain.

Meanwhile during this period Ghost had thrown up a Light Screen around the group after seeing what happened to Mare. Jay growled angrily as his illusion fell, turquoise eyes glaring daggers into the men that were now held immobile. Walking over to his trainer the Zoroark placed Ghost on the girl's shoulder before moving and crouching down in front of Mare, his back facing her,
Either stay behind me until we get out of here or get on my back so I can carry you out, he gruffed, Ghost can protect her, shoot, maybe even the newbie can. So don't worry about me taking care of her. Hearing Jay's comment the Espurr on Whimsy's shoulder looked at him with big, round eyes, I thank you for your comment friend. I shall uphold it and successfully protect our trainer as well as you do. Turning his gaze to his trainer Ghost placed a paw on Whimsy's cheek, unblinkingly he quietly mewed, You are in safe paws. I shall lay ruin to these strange "costume people" as you call them.

Not really knowing what the psychic type said Whimsy just smiled sweetly and scratched Ghost under his chin; however, his comment made Jay shudder a bit. He's a good kid, but man does he give me chills.

"Relax." Mare said, making another attemot at sitting up, despite the Espurr currently sitting on her shoulder. "It's just... dislocated. If I could just... get up... we can shove it back in, at least temporarily. Ach!"

Mare's attempt failed yet again. She still had one working arm she should be able to get up. But alas, it seemed ger own body was working against her. Also there was an Espurr on her shoulder, that probably didn't help.

Queen
While Mare dealed with a dislocated shoulder, Queen dealed with a Numel.

"Prepare to face the wrath of Carl!" The Numel shouted.

There was a brief silence before Queen finally said what would be on everyone's minds if there were other people. "Your name is Carl?"

"Yes! It strikes fear into the heart of mons all over the world!" Carl said without a shred of irony.

Queen had a look of disbelief on her face. "Yeah, I'll bet they do. Anyway, let's fight."

Queen ran at the Numel, teeth bared, electricity crackling around them

"Ha!" Carl scoffed. "Thunder Fang! That won't do anything to me?"

"I know." Queen said, and then chomped into the Numel's hide.

While it was true she had used Thunder Fang, that wasn't all she was doing. The thing not many people remember about fang moves, is that they involve biting. In other words, Queen had simaltaniously used a move and not used a move. She was just plain old chomping on the Numel. She didn't do it for long, though. After a few second she released it from her jaw.

"Blech. Too chewy."

"How dare you break the code of battle!" Carl shouted. "The rules say that you must only use moves!"

Queen scoffed at him. "You're trainers a criminal! Why do you care about the rules!"

"There's no such thing as a bad Pokemon. Pokemon only do bad things because-"

"Oh don't start with that Tauroscrap." Queen said, cutting Carl off. "We both know that's ridiculous so come off it."

Carl opened his mouth to respond but Queen decided to cut the situation short with a bang.

"Hidden Power: Ground!"

Queen turned around and kicked backwards, stirring up a sand tornado despite there being no sand. The tornado flew straight towards the Numel and knocked him out.

Queen stood triumphant. "Haha! Victory!"

In all honesty, the fight that had taken place was going by in a blur. Mare was picking on someone much larger than her, and seeming to fare fine until he heard some sort of snapping in amongst the fighting, and saw her arm had been shoved backwards. Worse yet, she had been lifted into the air by the Grunt, but Mare wasn't one to go down without fighting, Ezra had noted. A swift kick to the...oof, Ezra felt himself shrivel up at the sight, was enough to make the Grunt drop Mare and finally succumb to Hoots' earlier application of hypnosis.

Whimsy was straight by Mare's side, and Ezra was thankful that someone could at least tend to her or try to help her after such a fight. He noticed Queen was doing a lot of snarling and having some sort of dialogue against that Numel - about what he'd never quite know. Finally, he noticed...one of the Grunts floating? But that energy around them...that could only be from a Psychic attack! He soon traced the source back to a Kirlia - Evergreen - that belonged to Gracia, and figured he would help with getting rid of this Grunt. Though he knew it would take the energy out of Hoots, it was a necessary evil in this case.

Turning to Hoots, who remained ever at the ready, Ezra ordered, "Alright, get your Sky Attack ready, Hoots! You know what to do!"

And readied it she did. Her wings, coated in a magnificient sheen of light, almost seemed to grow bigger. Settling her eyes on her target, in a flash, Hoots swooped forward, barely catching the hairs on the others' heads, before she charged right into floating Magma Grunt, who gave a mighty yell at the oncoming Noctowl. She hit him with enough force to knock him into the wall, sending him trailing down it, apparently (but of course, why wouldn't he be after an attack like that?) unconscious.

With the Sky Attack from Hoots would suitably crash into the floating Magma Grunt - as Evergreen tried to hold the poor soul in question still with Psychic 'until' the Sky Attack ended, to which Evergreen ceased the psychokinetic grip. With that grunt down, Evergreen and Gracia now turned their sights to the probably worn out Noctowl. The Kirlia would make an attempt to approach like 'are you OK', noting the severe energy loss from the Noctowl as she approached. Gracia now glanced out to the surroundings and then to Ezra, flashing a thumbs up and that smile of hers. "They're gonna feel that one tomorrow. Speaking of feeling something, you think they'll be OK with all that energy they just burnt?" Gracia said, referring to Hoots.
