Lol totally down for character concept ish, just for everyone remember that power and stuff is going to be low at first. They won't know really much what is going on.

I am interested. I must ask if black powder weapons are allowed? Are we at that tech level?

Probably not this rp, but you could figure out a magic type weapon-but it would take your character a lot of research and time to figure it out. Just a thought.

If we are going to use magic I think the way they would have to cast it is to remember a certain hand movements for each spells to trigger them. Not only do you have to memorize the hand movements but you also have to put your xp to different magic classes-like destruction, healing, elemental, stealth and what not- and then you can learn more powerful spells.

Cool idea! One anime I saw a while back (Grimgar) had a pretty cool magic system where they used both hand movements and incantations together to form these glyphs (as seen in the gif). Maybe this is a good comparison aesthetic wise?

I like that a lot! We could even do it where beginner mages use incantations with hand movements-but more superior castors can just think the words with the hand movements. The glyph I love and absolutely want!
