Once everyone was set, Wattson took them to the Slateport Docks where they met a man named Josh, who ran a boat. Wattson assured the group that he was a very trustworthy person. Each member of the group had been given a comm device by Wattson so he could keep in touch and give them the password when it was needed.

It took them about an hour to reach Sea Mauville. Once they were there Josh dropped them off, saying he would simply hang out at a safe distance until they called on him. The obvious first step was to get inside the building. This proved easier said than done as the door would not budge. It eventually took the combined efforts of both Mare and one other person (leaving that one open for whoever) to force it open.

"Wailmer huh," Whimsy pondered as the thought of having her own Wailmer took up her thoughts. While it would be useful for diving and long distance traveling when it evolved into Wailord, the teen wasn't too keen in having one on her team for the long run. Same went for Tentacool. Thankfully for her Wattson cut in with letting the group know that he already arranged for their transportation. So potential water-type Pokémon partners would wait for another day.

At the mention of what would happen if they didn't help out with Wattson's plan Whimsy shuttered. If that were to be what happened if they all didn't comply then the teen had a feeling that she would end up being deported back to Kalos. The very thought of coming back home terrified her as much as having her freedom stripped completely. Even though she did agree already she had a feeling that if she failed Wattson's plan would go in effect either way.

When Mare spoke up, followed by Ezra, Whimsy started to perk up as they agreed, all though a bit reluctantly, to go along with the plan.
"You guys!" Whimsy gushed as she immediately turned and hugged Ezra, since he was the closes to her, around his neck, "I know you guys don't really want to do this, but I feel so much better knowing that I'm not going in this alone." Jay snorted in offense to his trainer's comment. Once the teen finished hugging on the red headed boy she pulled away a bit and shot him a grin, "And of course you're the only one perfect for getting the information of those computers! I'm no good with those things," she snickered before letting go of him and going back to her own spot on the edge of the bed. It truly was more relieving knowing that she wouldn't be without her friends, but it meant that she'd have to be sharper than normal. Shouldn't be super hard since she was always looking over her shoulder.

Though she questioned if Gracia would be able to handle it. The girl was still sick after all.
I'm going to have to keep my eye on her if she comes with us..
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Whimsy arrived at the docks with Jay at her side, but with a few changes to herself. The girl's normal loose braid was tied in a tight ponytail and her guitar nowhere to be seen. Since this was going to be rather dangerous she wanted to make sure her most prized possession stayed in one piece. Her Zoroark on the other hand had dropped his illusion once he boarded the vessel. But he kept an eye on the captain, Josh, the entire trip. Not really trusting the guy since he didn't really know him. Upon arriving Whimsy slipped the comm device on her ear so that she'd be able to hear the others, and Wattson. Though when they arrived the group had already run into a problem. The door wouldn't budge. When Mare stepped up to try and open it there was a bit of struggle; but, when Jay stepped up to help the two managed to bust it open.

"We're in," Whimsy whispered excitedly as she poked her head in. Blue eyes swept left to right before she stepped inside, "I don't think there's anyone else here since the front door was still locked," she theorized while taking a couple more steps inside. Jay reached out and gripped his trainer's shoulder to prevent her from getting too far. The grip along with his wordless gaze was enough to keep her in her spot.

Ezra flinched at Whimsy's sudden hug. He held his arms up awkwardly like one of those goofy store mannequins as he debated whether or not to return the hug. Eventually, he lowered them, as he still debated hugging her back. Though, he felt better knowing that Whimsy seemed relieved at there being a group of them going into this together. Safety in numbers, right? He looked to Whimsy once she pulled away, and he felt his face and the back of his neck go hot. "I-I guess so...especially if I work with them a lot..." Ezra smiled, abashed. He had never been one to take compliments well since he never knew how quite to react to them. Still, the compliment didn't go completely unacknowledged, if that little bit of pride in Ezra's visage was anything to show for it. "You can count on me!"

Once Whimsy had pulled away and returned to her spot on the bed, Ezra felt his face finally cool down. Though, it was strange. He felt the beady, unblinking eyes of Hoots on him. When he just so happened to look in her direction, not so far from the bed, he found her head to be cocked, almost surveying him. Though, she eventually moved her eyes in another direction in the room.

Ezra had been pondering the last time he had been on a boat. Most of the time he found himself on quick flights home or to another continent, but in all honesty, he preferred boats the most. He could see more of the world and actually be part of it, rather than being stuck on the other side of the glass. Hoots had taken to the air and followed the boat as it was enroute towards Sea Mauville, whilst the others had boarded and awaited their arrival. In the meanwhile, Ezra prepared himself (both physically and mentally) for the trials that lay ahead. He had the comm device Wattson gave each of them, and he brought along his own supplies - such as a torch - to help ease the trek inside their destination.

When they arrived, the door was the first major obstacle in their way, but thankfully Mare and Jay were quick to solve that problem. Ezra followed Whimsy in, though, hummed a little at her comment. For all they knew, Magma and Aqua could have found another way into Sea Mauville and could have been hiding in the shadows. "Even if there isn't anyone in here..." He began, rummaging inside his bag for that torch he packed, "We should still keep an eye out. You know what Pokémon can be like when someone else enters their space or enviroment..."

Mare shuddered. "This place gives me the creeps. It feels like someone, or something, is watching us."

Mare released Queen from her Pokeball. The poochyena immediately started looking for what she was supposed to fight. A one track mind, that one. At least that meant she was always on guard.

Mare herself was glancing around for signs of danger or, alternatively, a terminal. The walls were covered with creepy posters that looked right at home in a semi-popular video game she once heard about. Stuff about abandoning your individuality for the sake of productivity or worshipping the founder, who, according to his picture on the posters, was a rather creepy, but also disturbingly handsome man.

Yes all in all this was a rather creepy place, like the setting of a horror movie or an SCP Article.

At Ezra's advice the teen nodded her head slightly. He did have a point, and he knew what he was talking about regarding Pokémon behavior. Instead of wandering ahead Whimsy walked beside Mare. Jay on the other hand walked behind the group to guard the rear just in case someone, or something, were to try sneaking up behind them. "I wonder what kind of Pokémon live in a place like this," Whimsy half murmured to herself as she looked around at the same posters Mare had seen moments beforehand. This place sure was creepy, and ominous. Part of her questioned if any actually people lived here, like pirates or sea hobos. But at the same time the thrill of adventure was far too great for the girl to worry for too long.

As they continued to essentially tip-toe down the hallway Whimsy reached into her pocket before pulling out a shrunken Poké Ball. After clicking the button twice, once to make it standard size and a second to open it, Ghost burst out and sat on his trainer's shoulder. The psychic kitten purred happily as he rubbed his head against Whimsy's cheek. It was obvious that he was more than excited to be out of his confinement. For a moment he even checked his trainer's wound to make sure that it wasn't hurting her. Whimsy couldn't help but to giggle as she assured her Pokémon,
"I'm ok Ghost, honest," she told him softly, "Now, would you mind helping everyone out by keeping a look out for those wackos from yesterday?" To which Ghost gave a small mew to in response before silently glancing around at his surroundings.

"Hey, by that way, do you guys know where we're suppose to be going? Or even how these things Wattson gave us work?" Tapping her finger on the comm on her ear as she shot a quizzical look at both Mare and Ezra.

Hoots had her eyes scanning for some sort of computer, in some sort of accompanying room, whilst Ezra cast a glance over his shoulder every few seconds. Their roles seemed to be reversed. If anything, Ezra should have been looking for a terminal, and Hoots watching his back. It was funny how so in sync, yet, so out of sync, the two could be at the best of times.

Ezra physically shuddered at Mare's comment. "Don't say stuff like that...that makes it even freakier..." In his mind, he imagined a slimy, bulbous Tentacool lurking in the shadows, stretching out its tentacles until it inched closer and closer...! Ezra whirled his head around to the shadows, finding them empty. He shook his head, groaning to himself as he held himself tightly. Tentacools gave him the creeps. Tentacools lurking in the shadows like inside of a horror novel made the sandwich in his stomach threaten to travel upwards.

Ezra couldn't help but overhear Whimsy's quiet musings of what Pokémon lurked here. To ease and comfort himself, he couldn't help but open his mouth and list them all. "Well, primarily Water Pokémon reside here. Magikarp, Walimers, Wingulls, Pelippers, Tenta...Tentacool..." He said with visible disdain playing on his lips. "I've heard reports about rarer, Legendary Pokémon turning up here, but quite frankly I don't believe those rumours. I'm not sure why Legendaries would appear up and out of the blue at Sea Mauville."

"I..." Ezra began, and then he hummed. "I'm not sure...he just said there was a terminal somewhere. So, I guess we just have to try and find it." He fiddled with the comm in his ear, replying once again, "There's bound to be a switch or something on one of these things...right?"

Gracia Monuta

(I understand this post is late - I'm sorry - I've been reeeally busy! As a compromise, here's a mega post with several quotes and what Gracia actually did for this situation! You can yell at me later; but here you go! Enjoy!)
"Look, I'm as apprehensive to send a bunch of kids on a mission like this as you should be apprehensive to go on this mission," Wattson said. "But I can't jus let you walk away knowing what you do." Wattson stood up and walked over to a trash can to throw out his paper plate. "You can, of course, keep on living your normal lives, just under constant surveillance to make sure noone tries to pull any information you have out of you."

Mare swallowed the piece of food she had in her mouth and pointed her fork at Wattson. "No way. I'm not living in a personal dystopia." She rubbed her temples and sighed. "Much as I hate to admit it, and I really hate to admit it, I'm pretty scared of these guys too. But nothing scares me worse than what's in my past so I am going on this mission."
Gracia listened to all of this and took it in - obviously a little scared herself, and trying to ignore this intensive 'what if this all goes wrong' feeling roaring in the back of her mind, more or less devouring her other senses in a figurative sense. Gracia nodded after hearing what Mare said, she herself regaining at least some motive and/or confidence, too. As dangerous as this may be, they survived the first time - if they get lucky, they can stop them this time before they get their hands on anything 'else' - before it goes worse!
"Ah, yes, transportation." Wattson said, when it was brought up. Due to the power of retcon it was only brought up after Mare said her bit (which, in itself, came after Whimsy's bit) (sorry about retconning things, needed my post to make sense). "I actually have that arranged. And rest assured there's no diving involved. The computers underwater no longer work, after all. All you need to do is get in, find a computer, type in the password which I will relay to you over a com device, download the information onto this drive." Wattson held up a flashdrive with his symbol and badge, the Dynamo Badge, branded onto it. "And initiate a system wide deletion of all of said information. Very simple, in and out. You shouldn't even have to worry about running into either Team Aqua or Team Magma."
"So we just need to find one of those devices then, and swipe that which they're looking for... Get in, get out..." Gracia said silently to herself, eventually mustering a nervous laugh and shuddered a little. "Well, we best hope it 'is' very simple and that we don't encounter either side (hopefully not both either) - for who knows what could happen from there..." She gulped and shook herself lightly, unable to shake this intensive fear she had. Regardless, she managed to at least stand up and seemed to be preparing to go. "I'm coming with you all; I'm not just gonna stay back here and keep you all worrying for no reason, despite how vulnerable 'I' may be. I also don't really like the sound of staying back in the first place and not contributing anything to this mess that we're now in - so you know something? We got on this ride together, and to heck if I'm not gonna see us all off it - together." She said in a serious tone, finished preparing herself and sorting herself, giving a thumbs up to everyone else.
Once everyone was set, Wattson took them to the Slateport Docks where they met a man named Josh, who ran a boat. Wattson assured the group that he was a very trustworthy person. Each member of the group had been given a comm device by Wattson so he could keep in touch and give them the password when it was needed.

It eventually took the combined efforts of both Mare and one other person (leaving that one open for whoever) to force it open.
Though when they arrived the group had already run into a problem. The door wouldn't budge. When Mare stepped up to try and open it there was a bit of struggle; but, when Jay stepped up to help the two managed to bust it open.

"We're in," Whimsy whispered excitedly as she poked her head in. Blue eyes swept left to right before she stepped inside, "I don't think there's anyone else here since the front door was still locked," she theorised while taking a couple more steps inside.
Gracia looked around immediately, seeming a little offset by all of this right from the very start. The walls draped in spooky posters did not help as it is - leading Gracia to send out her Dusclops, Hades, theorising a Ghost-type Pokemon would be right at home and Hades himself would be more than ready to protect the team with the trademark defensive power of a Dusclops. Gracia wandered along with the slow Dusclops behind her, trudging along in tandem and glancing around. "If there is something watching us, we best stick together, then..." She said nonchalantly yet nervously in response to Mare, and then shortly shrugging in response to what Whimsy said about where to go. "Beats me. With any luck, the only way we're going to find it is if we check as many nooks and crannies as we can find. Though the smarter option is to split up to do that, I don't like our odds of running into either team..." She managed a nervous laugh, Hades behind her letting out a creaking noise of discomfort as well. She winced a little at that sound joining her laugh, peeking around a corner she would reach yet staying near to everyone as she would peek around it, seeming alert.

Whimsy nodded along to Ezra's list of Pokémon that would dare call this place home. Maybe they have a point in living well off the grid though, the teen thought as she looked around, No one would dare come here to bother them. Well, except for one another. At her friends mention that the terminal in question could be anywhere Whimsy couldn't help but to pout some. Wattson must feel really confident with his idea of the blind leading the blind. Not only that, but it seemed that everyone was starting to get a little paranoid. Pausing in her stride momentarily Whimsy waited for Gracia to by her before she started walking again. Reaching her hand out the girl wrapped her arm around Gracia and rubbed her shoulder, "We're not splitting up, no matter how good of an idea it may be," glancing down at the red head, "I'm sure we'll find it soon enough. Plus by sticking together like this might prove helpful in case they want to try an ambush." Whimsy's signature grin spread across her face as she gave Gracia's shoulder a quick pat before retracting her arm.

As if summoned by the almost universal thought of him, Wattson's voice sounded over all the comms, causing Mare to jump a bit. "Hey there! Sorry about the radio scilence. Took a bit to get this stuff up and running." He laughed his signature laugh before clearing his throat. "Anyway, you're not looking for anything specific. Just duck into any nearby office space, find a working computer, and enter in the password which, for the sake of secrecy, I'll tell you when you get there, You know the rest. Once you get there or if there's an emergency, just tap the button on the side of the comms. Josh also has access to the comm devices."

Well that was certainly helpful. Clear cut instructions on what to do. Mare had no idea who had the hard drive they were supposed to download the data onto but it didn't really matter to her. She was pretty much useless in this situation unless a fight broke out.

Ezra looked over to Whimsy, who had draped an arm around Gracia reassuringly. Listening to her, he gave a small chuckle. "I suppose that's a good id-YOWCH!" He clasped a hand over his ear, the ear that he had his intercom in, and grimaced. When his hearing had recovered and the shock of the sudden yelling in his ears had passed, he registered the voice as Wattson's. He could have at least given some warning to them when he might have contacted them...and perhaps been a bit quieter...

Regardless, Ezra was silent and gave his attention attentively to Wattson...well, tried to channel it, since he of course, could not see them. Though, he bobbed his head and hung on Wattson's words, immediately forgetting that he couldn't see them and so he couldn't register Ezra's gestures. Eventually, when Wattson finished, he tapped the button on the side of his comm, and he responded. "Okay, copy that...over...?" Ezra wasn't entirely sure of the code that people used to speak over comms. The only source of information he had was from movies. He cringed. Now he just felt like an even bigger dork than normal.

Wanting to move on from that, he murmured. "So...any nearby office space..." Ezra glanced on ahead, wondering if Hoots had found anything further down the hall.

Pausing in her stride momentarily Whimsy waited for Gracia to by her before she started walking again. Gracia smiled at Whimsy as she did so, nodding. "Yep! That's what I'm thinking; we're a lot safer when we're all together!" She said honestly and joyfully, seeming to enjoy the further vote of confidence and the pat on her shoulder seemed to be something Gracia liked - her Dusclops catching up with her though before she and anyone else could make another move, Wattson managed to get in touch with them all.
"Hey there! Sorry about the radio scilence. Took a bit to get this stuff up and running." He laughed his signature laugh before clearing his throat. "Anyway, you're not looking for anything specific. Well that was certainly helpful. Clear cut instructions on what to do.
"Nearby... office space..." She thought aloud, trying to process it - which worked, and how to do this simply. She got an idea. Hades, her Dusclops, was a Ghost-type! Ghost types tend to have a habit of going through walls and such - perhaps Gracia could use him for recon through the walls! Gracia managed a confident smile when this idea clicked into her head. "Hades, can you help looking with us?" She asks the Dusclops, of whom just turned towards the nearest wall and walked through it, as if he knew exactly what was going on, using his spectral abilities - perks of the type - to go through said wall. Gracia managed a smile and now with her Dusclops helping the search, she went on ahead yet tried not to go too far ahead of the group, wandering the oncoming hall, turning back at one point and noticing the dazed Ezra - she couldn't help but laugh a little bit at his misfortune.

Watching a smile appear on Gracia's face put Whimsy in a joyous mood knowing that the younger girl wasn't overly worried anymore. Glad to see I did something right! Whimsy's signature grin didn't fade as Ghost took his rightful place back in his trainer's arms; that was, however, until Wattson's booming voice came over the comm in the girl's ear. Her smile faded and was quickly replaced with a clenched jaw and furrowed brows that gave away her discomfort, along with one hand now pressing her ear. "Man oh man that was louder than my guitar rifts," Whimsy grunted softly as she slowly moved her hand from her ear. Then went back to holding Ghost in both arms as she tried her best to listen to the gym leader's voice intently. It would appear that where they needed to be wasn't anywhere special, just a normal office room would do, so long as it had a working computer. After Ezra fumbled over an answer to tell Wattson, Whimsy couldn't help but to giggle and hit the button on her own comm, "Okie dokie smoky! We'll let you know when we get there!"

Once Gracia had moved ahead to the front of the group Whimsy picked up the pace a bit so that she was walking beside Ezra now. "I think Gracia's got this for now," she commented while dropping her voice to a lower volume, "Hades can move through objects since he's a ghost type. So he should be able to find it faster than us." Glancing down at Ghost the two locked eyes before smiling at each other. A moment later a question popped into the girl's head, "Hey Ezra," her eyes turned upwards towards the boy, "Is there a Pokémon that can see through things? You know, like x-ray vision." The question had come to her after she thought of what other Pokémon might be helpful if they had to do this kind of crazy thing again, or if she ever needed better eyes.

Still trying to will away the ringing that Wattson left in his ear, he turned his head towards Whimsy as she walked alongside him, as she stated how Gracia had it covered for now. And furthermore, there would be no need to worry with her Ghost-type surpassing the walls and having a good rustle around the rooms. Whimsy had shown off her own knowledge on Ghost-types.

"Oh, of course!" Ezra murmured, shaking his head as if he had made a grave error. "That was great thinking on her part. I'm sure we'll find a working terminal in no time at all!" In that case, the young professor-in-training really should have called Hoots back, though, he trusted the Noctowl enough to make her way back to Ezra on her own. There wasn't anything she couldn't make out in the dark, at least, so far in her lifespan (he hadn't had her eyes checked in a year or so, but she didn't present any symptoms that would suggest they weren't working otherwise).

Once again, his head turned to look at Whimsy. He rubbed his jaw in some thought after Whimsy presented her question to him, and he hummed to himself. Sure, he liked to consider himself a walking Pokédex most of the time, but recalling information as instantaneous as it wasn't always the case. No matter, he liked the challenge of racking his brain of a Pokémon with such an ability. Eventually, Ezra was able to recall a Pokémon with something of a similar ability.

"I think a Luxray would come in handy for that," Ezra beamed with pride at being able to recall that. "They have tremendous vision, so much so, they can see through practically anything when they go hunting or taking care of their own." He couldn't help but chuckle a little as a memory returned to him regarding them. "When I was in Sinnoh with Professor Birch, I met a few Luxio out in the wild. They were pretty playful, naive if anything. Though, before I knew it, their mother - a Luxray - appeared, and almost gave me a hiding for even looking at her babies. I'm surprised I got away without getting shocked..." He mumbled more to himself, scratching his head.

"So you've inherited my uncle's talent for getting mauled by wild Pokemon, then?" Mare quipped. It was true. Her first encounter with her uncle when she first arrived in Hoenn was when he was being chased by a wild Poochyena. She had to save him by pulling a random pokeball out of his bag. Fiji was, of course, the Pokemon in that pokeball.

"In defense of Pokemon everywhere," Queen said. "He smells terrible."

"That's just rude." Mare replied, unaware of her statement's irony.

"I'm just telling the truth." Queen said with the Poochyena equivalent of a shrug. "You're sense of smell is terrible so you can't tell but I can."

Meanwhile, far, far away...

A young Corsola steps out of it's cave. It doesn't take more than five steps before a mareanie shows up. Too surprised to run, the Corsola is immediately gobbled up. I can't believe Corsola is dead! This is in no way related to the story.

"Luxray huh," Whimsy mused to herself will she tapped her chin, "That sounds like an awesome ability to have! Makes me want to catch one, but I don't think they live in Hoenn if Sinnoh is where you met them." Hearing this Jay glanced over at his trainer, he knew fully well why Whimsy would want to catch one. A Luxray would make a great look out for the runaway if it's able to spot a person through just about anything. But it would be a tough find when you're in the wrong region. If they did managed to find one though Jay might have a bit of competition. If we do run into one maybe it'll be a dunce, the Zoroark thought to himself as he crossed his arms and huffed.

Turning her head a bit to look over her shoulder Whimsy donned a quizzical expression, "Everything alright there Jay," she asked, only to be answer with a sharp nod. Whimsy pouted at the response as she could sense her partner's sternness, but talking it out would have to wait. They were here on an objective and it didn't leave any of them much room to discuss such things thoroughly. When Mare spoke up Whimsy couldn't help to change her mood, popping a snicker and a grin. "Wait. Your uncle's talent is getting mauled by Pokémon," Whimsy managed to get out between giggles, "I mean, it's not a good thing. But Pokémon really attack him a lot?" Jay even started to snicker a bit under his breath when he heard Queen's reasoning as to why such occurrences might happen more often than not.

Meanwhile Ghost sat perfectly still in his trainer's arms while observing his surroundings. He had been tasked with keeping an eye out for both a room with a computer and the crazy costume people they had encountered a day before, and boy was he going to stick to it! The psychic kitten purred softly while turning his head every now and then. When his gaze focused back on what was in front of him he tilted his head a bit while noticing Gracia's backside.
"Es, espurr espurr," he mewed trying to gain Gracia's attention (to Mare it sounds like, Excuse me ma'am, but where might your friend be?)

Mare chuckled. "Yeah, he's attacked all the time. I remember this one time he went out to do some field research while my family was visiting for christmas, he came back half frozen after a run in with a Cryogonal." Mare sighed and shook her head. "Scared all of us half to death, especially Brendan. But after we got him unfrozen we all laughed about it."

Thinking back on it made her smile. Her visits to her Uncle were the best things of her childhood. Granted, that wasn't a high bar but it was still pretty fun. Her Uncle was always upbeat, even after being attacked by a pokemon. The only thing on his mind after being thawed that one time was finding out how the hell a Cryogonal got to Hoenn. Kind of made Mare wish she had stayed in Littleroot a little longer.

Gracia was confused upon hearing the Espurr speak, and unable to know what it was saying, she seemed puzzled. "...Can someone translate? That'd be great." She asked openly, continuing to search as Hades roamed as well - his faint stomps being heard barely through the walls and it's highly likely he hasn't found anything yet, unfortunately, and truth be told; it's true. Hades' search is going seamlessly, but nothing had been found by the Dusclops so far.

"He's asking where your friend is." Mare said, putting her talent to use. "I presume by friend he means your Dusclops."

It was a little weird that Gracia's Dusclops hadn't returned yet. They were in a huge technological complex, it couldn't be that hard to find an office with a computer in it. Mare wondered if something was wrong.

"Can you smell anything out of the ordinary?" Mare asked Queen.

"Not unless the smell of human is out of the ordinary." The Poochyena repled.

"Wow. Harsh." Mare said.

MEANWHILE

On a shelf in a rather well furbished office, sat a stone. Sensing the presence of humans, the stone pulsed with a faint purple aura.

"He's asking where your friend is." Mare said, putting her talent to use. "I presume by friend he means your Dusclops."
"Hmm... Good question, actually..." Gracia sounded worried when it was initially raised to her attention. "I dunno where Hades is exactly, but he's probably still looking. I will say it is considerably worrying he 'has' been gone for a while, but here's hoping it's not all for nothing, right...?" She said in a somewhat more hopeful tone. Meanwhile, Hades on the other hand, had seen something worth while graced the Dusclops' singular eye as he looked right at it, letting out a creaking noise and shortly taking a step towards it - in fact, there were two things of value inside, and upon closer inspection...
On a shelf in a rather well furbished office, sat a stone. Sensing the presence of humans, the stone pulsed with a faint purple aura.
"Clooops (Found things)..." Hades groaned as he saw the stone, faintly being heard in the distance from where everyone else was as he tried to grab the stone with his hand. Gracia would hear him groan and smiled. "Ooh, I hear him...! I think he found something; c'mon!" Gracia, without another thought, immediately headed towards the source of the sound - where Hades now was.

His talent for getting mauled...? Oh, yes. Birch found himself in many unsavoury situations where he was being chased by Wild Pokémon. Some occasions, he watched the fiasco go down. Other times, he was running alongside him with a stack of research notes. Ezra could feel his face growing red as he admitted, "Perhaps..." Maybe when people said Birch was rubbing off too much on Ezra, they were right.

Though, Ezra didn't have to face much shame on that front, since Mare hadn't gotten involved in some sort of conversation with her Poocheyena, regarding its statement as 'rude'. He often wondered what knowledge they had to pass onto Mare...unless it was just insults. He shook his head, trying not to think on that so much.

He turned back to Whimsy, continuing their conversation together on the subject of Luxrays. Of course, he had no idea why she would have been so desperate for one in the first place, but he could certainly give her tips on how to get her hands on one. "If you find any in Hoenn, you'll probably find them in the hands of breeders. Even at that, it's rarer, seeing as you have to train them up from Shinxes." Shinx? Shinxs? He wasn't sure what the correct plural was. "Still...I've yet to be proven wrong. There could be one hiding in the grasses out in Hoenn and I don't even know it." Hoots was always a good source for finding Pokémon for him. It made his research tasks so much easier.

...speaking of, where was Hoots? She flew off some time ago and hadn't returned, and that was usually a source of worry. Gracia had a different reaction when it came to her Dusclops. Hoping for the best was all well and good, but Ezra's nerves weren't stable enough to just 'hope' for anything anymore.

Looking above him, Ezra heard the familiar flapping wing patterns of Hoots, who appeared above him. "Hoots, there you are! Did you find anything?" He was met with a shake of the Noctowl's head, and a soft hooting as she remained above their heads. He was confused as to what kept her from coming back for so long...was the complex bigger than it looked on the outside?

Soon enough, Gracia sounded triumphantly that Dusclops must have found something, and ran on ahead. Ezra felt his blood pressure rise at the thought of her running into any grunts waiting to knock her out, or perhaps another Pokémon looking to get the jump on her. "G-Gracia! Please, wait for us!" He started to awkwardly trundle after her, with Hoots following in tandem.

So she would have to find a breeder somewhere in the region, possibly purchase a young Shinx from the breeder's litter, and train it until it evolves... "Well that doesn't seem too hard. Especially if I can get my hands on a computer," the teen commented rather cheerfully. Now she knew what she was doing once they got the heck out of here! With the idea fresh in her mind Whimsy continued to walk beside Ezra, humming joyfully to herself. Jay on the other hand just rolled his eyes while he walked at the back of the group. This was surely going to be an interesting night for him.

Ghost turned his head in a particular direction as he picked up the sounds of Hades down the hall, Jay's ears flicked as he glanced in the same direction. When Gracia verbally mentioned hearing her partner Whimsy's excitement grew until Gracia took off. She had to bite her tongue when Ezra called out to the young girl while he tried to run after her.
"Yeah Gracia," she managed to get out with very minimal snickers, "Wait for us!" Soon enough Whimsy was also giving chase, well as best she could. With Ghost in her arms and the somewhat small hall space that they were all taking up it was a task. But she managed to keep up. Jay also started picking up the pace as soon as he noticed Gracia starting to take off, slipping between his trainer and Ezra in order to catch up to the youngest of the group. He didn't feel comfortable letting her run off without an cover, and he felt ok enough to leave Whimsy behind with Ghost. The weird little guy wasn't a push over when it came to just about any situation.

"Hey wait up!" Mare called. She ran after the rest of the group, Queen at her side. She easily overtook Ezra and Whimsy but was having trouble catching up to Jay for obvious reasons. This frustrated her. She had a sort of subconscious desire to be better than people (and Pokemon, it would seem). You know, stronger, faster, snarkier. It was for this reason that she made a resolution to beat Jay in a race at some point. Though preferably after they got back to Slateport.

Finally, they arrived at their destination. The door was ajar and had a gold nameplate affixed on it. The nameplate was scratched and unreadable but it was easy to tell it was a four letter word.

With them finally arriving at the room that Gracia's Dusclops had remained at, Ezra squinted at the nameplate of the ajar door, wondering what the four letter word originally was. Though, he figured that wouldn't help them now, and he peered into the room. Of course, like most of Sea Mauville, it was shrouded in darkness, so Ezra shined his torch inside the room to get a better look.

The first thing he thought he saw was a computer. "Bingo!" Ezra grinned. They could finally contact Wattson and get the info off there before Magma or Aqua could get their hands on it. Of course, not noticing anything else in the room, he went to step in, still shining his torch in at the computer. "Guess we don't have to wander around aimlessly for looking for a computer terminal anymore. We'll be out of here in no time at all."

Hoots, however, was less than enthusiastic about entering the room. She stared after Ezra, cooing after him as he walked in, though, he hadn't paid much heed to it.

Jay had made it to the office space where they had heard Hades' voice coming from before the others. Slipping inside the Zoroark scoped the room out, ignoring the Dusclops, to assure that there was no one else in the room. He let out a small huff of relief when he could find no one in the room who shouldn't be there. Walking back out of the room he let the teens trickle in as they came upon it.

"Thanks Jay," Whimsy huffed as she hunched over at the door for a moment, "I'm going to guess we're the only ones so far?" Jay nodded in response as he signaled for his trainer to get inside. With a nod of her head the teen stood straight before walking inside, but not before she caught a glance of the name plate. Whoever's four letter name had been there at one point seemed to be long faded due to it being scratched out. Whimsy pondered the endless possibilities of whose name could have been engraved there at one point as she waltzed into the room without second thought. A rather bold choice on her part, or rather stupid depending on how you want to take it, since Ezra was the only one with a flashlight. Thus making him the only person allowing them to see, except for Jay and Hades who could see in the dark.

Ghost glanced around the dimly lit room, "Espurr esp (This room holds an ominous feeling)," the psychic type mewed as he glanced towards Hades, "Es espurr, espurr (Ah you must be the one called Hades, pleasure)." Whimsy couldn't help but to chuckle as listened to her Pokémon's mews, finding him rather chatty at the moment. Humming to herself softly Whim moved Ghost to sit on her shoulder so that she had free movement of her arms. Hearing Ezra start to make his way into the room she glanced over his shoulder to watch him, "There's nothing scary in here Ez. If there is I'm sure Jay and Mare will scare it away," she snickered softly.

As his trainer interacted with the others Ghost spotted something on a shelf near the desk, a stone that seemed to be pulsating.
"Spurr esp (Whimsy, look)," the Espurr mewed as he poked at his trainer's face to gain her undevoted attention. Feeling Ghost poking and mewing at her Whimsy turned her head a bit, "What's up Ghost? Something wrong?" Seeing her Pokémon pointing at a shelf Whimsy turned to face whatever it was he was wanting to show her, "What the heck is that," she questioned while moving towards the odd purple stone, "Is that? Is that a rock?"
