She loves project Salvation and truly believes that Elizia and the other floating cities has saved the world from extinction but she hates the people in charge.



She knows that corruption, greed and power has soured the idealistic government and plans to work with the underground crime syndicates to bring it down.



She also strongly believes in letting new life flourish and fully supports the illegal development of artificial life.

Biography/History-

Charlie was born in Eliza to a family in a high position within the government. His father is a well connected man with many assets at his disposal. To his father, Charlie was never good enough and so no love was shared between them. However, him and his mother were very close. She introduced him to Classic Rock music and all sorts of things he'd come to love later on. Unfortunately, she died in a car accident leaving Charlie alone with his father.

Years passed and he turned ten years old. At the time his father was running for a large , important election. To throw him off and hopefully shake the system, the Land Dwellers kidnapped Charlie and took him out of the city. His father never bothered to negotiate for him believing it would be a crime to make any sort of deals with terrorists. Instead of killing him, the Land Dwellers took in Charlie as one of their own and he learned heir ways. Growing up with them, he became an infamous outlaw and would later become the Leader of the Rebellion due to his natural leadership skills and wisdom.

Personality-

Despite his stressful, responsibility filled position Charlie is a very down to earth kind of guy. Calm, collected, and fun would be how his comrades would describe him. He's the kind of man who likes to have a good time. However, he does not allow this to get in the way of his work with the Rebellion. He is loyal and determined to bring peace among all beings, even ones not human.

Skills-

Throughout his time with the Land Dwellers, Charlie has earned skills in hand-to-hand combat, free running, marksmanship, and many thieving abilities. Like his father, he also has a good way with words making him an excellent leader.​

Biography/History

Darya's family members were originally land dwellers. Her great-great-great grandfather quickly became fed up with the inequality that was developing on land at the time, and (after an altercation) stole a ship which he named renamed Mutiny. Since then her family has used the ship for a number of purposes, including piracy, and smuggling, and has become well known to both the Land Dwellers and those who live on Elizia.

The only rule on Mutiny is don't harm those who can't harm you, a rule ingrained in every generation's mind, and a rule that Darya still lives by.

Darya, like her family for the past few generations, was raised on Mutiny, learning the ways of plundering and pillaging. She also took various jobs as a mercenary. Because of her association with Mutiny and her own accomplishments, she has quite a few connections. This is good because recently she's had a falling-out with her father, the current captain of Mutiny, and has left the ship to find her own life.

Personality

Darya is blunt, loud, sarcastic, tough, greedy, and hot-headed. She is not the most well educated person you might meet (she can't read), but don't make the mistake of thinking she's stupid. She knows how to get the job done, and will do it well if the pay's good enough.

She lives by her own personal set of morals, which sometimes appear to contradict her persona (such as the fact that she doesn't lie). But for the right reason, she will

Originally built as a prototype humanoid personal robot to someone on Elizia, A.C.3 malfunctioned and was disabled and sent to be recycled. He somehow rebooted, and, with no memory of anything except for what was in his core software, he wandered away on his own.

Personality-

While he can mimic a human's personality and actions almost flawlessly, Ace doesn't have a personality of his own (as far as anyone knows). His model was created to be able to autonomously learn from his environment in order to adequately function in an all purpose position in a household or wherever he happened to be. Since his malfunction he has no memories of where or what he was before, and as such all of his knowledge is from his basic software and what he's learned since leaving the recycling center.

Biography/History- In his younger days, Breck was a soldier and a criminal. Two weeks after his twentieth birthday he joined the military and served with distinction, earning several medals for valor and aptitude during combat. After a six year stint with the military, seeing combat in many different stages of war he retired with a fully honorable discharge. As an unemployed man with limited skillsets he became a small time criminal, selling illicit substances and running illegal operations, slowly working his way up the criminal ladder and becoming a medium level pusher of drugs and running several off the books businesses, but with age came a desire for a calm lifestyle and he slowly fazed himself out of the crime life. After retiring form the crime life, Orwell sunk his considerable savings into a down payment for a cargo ship. He would use the ship to haul goods from the various floating cities of the world, transporting goods to both their floating counterparts and the land dwelling cities on the coastal harbors. For almost a decade, Breckin ran a clean operation free of transgressions or run ins with the law, in fact he prided himself on being one of the few left on the seas who ran a fully legitimate operation, but all of the aforementioned changed when he began to run behind on the payments for his large cargo vessel. Desperate to keep his ship he began taking jobs from various criminal organizations, using his ship as a mule he brought over illegal goods, and people on several occasions, all of which were hidden within massive cargo containers.


His operation ran smoother than he had expected and the added income allowed him to do more than pay off the boat, he was able to commit money to savings, giving himself a cushion for retirement. The financial benefits combined with his reignited passion for money spurned him to continue taking jobs and smuggling goods and the occasional group of illegal immigrants to this day.

Personality- He is a deeply conflicted man at heart, he wishes to do right by god and right by those around him but he feels that he can't do both at once, often smuggling and breaking the law to keep his crew employed and to keep his crew from falling to the temptations of the crime life that he had escaped himself. He feels that it is his responsibility to keep his ship and to keep his men employed and for that reason he originally began smuggling again. All that being said, he has a sliver of hypocrisy within him, while he says that he does what he does for the good of his men, he secretly covets money for himself, falling into the same greed that he preaches against. He is a self aware person though, and he feels the guilt of his transgressions and his hypocrisy and it weighs down on him as he makes his decisions.


He is a man who will resort to violence but only as a last measure, he recognizes that there are times when violence is the only answer, sometimes force must be met with force, but he is inclined to talk things through with the patience of a diplomat instead of the bloodlust of a soldier. He is protective of those he cares about but he is too protective of them, often crowding them during their decision making or suffocating them with his overbearing and protective nature.


Skills-
Good with a gun (ex military), he is good with his hands but he tires quickly due to his age. He is an excellent sailor and navigator along with being a good vocal leader for a group. He is a good negotiator and a great drinker. He easily relates to people from all aspects of life as he has been in the shoes of almost all the people he meets, from leaders, to petty criminals and soldiers. He is good with his hands and can do a lot of quick fixing on the fly when it comes to purely mechanical problems. I.E, he can't repair a robots mind, but if a joint gives out he can quickly replace the parts and have the robot working within a short period of time.

Biography/History-
For as long as Dex could remember, he had wanted to be an enforcer, that was his one goal in life and a goal he would achieve by age twenty as he joined the force. Dex quickly learned that there was more to being an enforcer than what one saw on TV. The paperwork, the endless and soul crushing red tape, and the rules that enforcers had to abide by. The strict rules of engagement, the danger of the criminals he couldn't shoot unless shot at by them. It was a reality check to the idealistic kid. By age thirty, he was a changed man. No longer did he look at his badge with a wide eyed sense of wonder, now it was with the sobriety of a bad reality. By age twenty five he had worked his way up to homicide detective and what was funny to him is the fact that he missed the streets. Homicide cops had a rough job and he found out firsthand why so many of Elizia's finest homicide detectives turned to alcohol and gambling, among other vices, to achieve a balance.


After years of seeing horror after horror, Dex has become somewhat numb to violence and death as a whole, it matters little to him, which scares him. He realizes that he should feel sick when he sees a dead body and that he should feel empathy at the sight of a newly orphaned child whos father lost control, killing the mother before killing himself, but unfortunately, there is nothing. No sense of compassion, no sense of empathy, he simply remains cool, calm and collected in the face of hell on earth.


He is one of the most effective homicide enforcers on the task force and has an extremely high case clearance rate of sixty percent with homicides that cross his desk, a much more efficient number than the forty percent average that the rest of the homicide force posts.


Personality-
He is always calm and calculating, he has to be, the job demands it and he has adjusted beautifully. As a result of his critical nature it is hard for him to connect to other people, the people he speaks to often feel lost talking to someone who feels almost nothing. He hooks up once and a while but he has no room for real relationships, his life has been consumed by the job, he spends what could be his off hours on the job doing OT, working and solving murders that others would hope to pass by due to their difficulty.


He is a very intelligent person who has a logical mind, working through problems with the style of a computer. He believes only what he sees and prides himself in being what he sees as grounded in his beliefs and ideologies.


Skills-
Good at putting clues together as he is a detective, great marksman, solid hand to hand fighter, highly intelligent, good at perceiving truth from lies, good driver and excellent at picking up on physical cues.

Biography/History-


In order to escape the wasteland of the Land Dwellers, as a boy, he smuggled himself onto Elizia. Without a proper place, the boy lived in the darkness of the city, learning its inner workings and underworld. The years passed and the boy grew into a man, adopting the name, Asar. His name grew amongst the likes of the underworld, eventually reaching a point of major influence. The power was an enslaving toxin. Asar’s infamy grew more and more as the years passed, mainly through methods of fear and blood. Asar gathered the criminals and rejects, organizing them and turning them into the underworld organization they are today, known as the Initiative.


Naturally, Asar’s desire for power was simply not met as the ruler of the underworld. He set his sights higher. Through his connections, Asar adopted the name Rodrick Kelly and entered the political sphere. He created a false identity and life, erasing all those who knew any connection of him thereafter. In the course of seven years, the now Rodrick Kelly rose through the political ranks to Vice-Chair of Communications and is trusted as an advisor to many different branches of government.


With connections in the underworld and in the political sphere, Rodrick is capable of obtaining resources from all over the world. He has ties to the Land Dwellers and those all over Elizia. He obtains money by providing weapons to the Land Dwellers to continue their fight and by smuggling goods for the underworld market. On the surface, he takes part in space research and robotic development. His communication position in the government created connections to the Enforcers, the space program, and the R&D departments.


Outwardly, Kelly is a perfect politician. He has a beautiful home and a loving wife. He is active in the community and is very sociable. To the underworld, the name Asar holds tremendous power and order is maintained through manipulation, fear, and blood. None know the true identity of Rodrick Kelly, also known as, Asar. He disposed of the evidence. Now he works as part of the government with sights set even higher.


Personality-


To the public, Rodrick Kelly is the perfect politician without flaw. He is charming and well liked among his peers and shows amazing work ethic and promise. Hard-working, loyal, and dedicated are words his superiors would describe him. A smile, attentive eyes, and a firm hand-shake is all it takes for Kelly to win you over.


However, there is a dark side to Rodrick. In the underworld, he is known as the cold, calculated leader of the growing criminal organization. He rules from the shadows and controls the higher ranking members like puppets to do his bidding. Clever, cold, and calm, Rodrick Kelly is one of the most feared men in the underworld and Elizia, yet none know his true identity. His alias, feared by name alone: Asar.

Formerly a chemist (specializing in organic chemistry), currently works in the field of biomechanics.

Biography/History

Metod was born and raised in Elizia, the product of the merging of two intelligent and scientific families. His father is a chemist and currently works for Synthetic Technology Incorporated, inventing and testing various compounds and materials. On the other hand, his mother is a fashionista and works as a writer for one of Elizia’s top fashion magazine companies.

Growing up in Elizia was pretty cozy for Metod. Getting into the best schools and graduating with honors at one of the universities was a piece of cake…it helps when one’s parents are as well-off and well-known as Metod’s. Finding a good job was pretty much a cakewalk too, since his father was already working at for Synthetic Technology Incorporated. At first he worked as an organic chemist. Metod began experimenting with compounds and materials to research of new products and improving of existing ones.

However, on a seemingly random day, that all changed. There was a horrible accident in one of the labs where Metod and some of his colleagues were working, leaving 2 dead and the rest with severe burns and other disfiguring injuries. This left him without the lower half of his right arm, the left arm was greatly impaired and his lungs were severely damaged. After recovering from his wounds, Metod took an interest in biomechanics, often times using his own broken body as a test subject. The current enhancements on his body are: a robotic replacement for the bottom half of his right arm, robotic enhancements on his left arm and a breathing system that filters out impurities from the air and directs the airflow to his lungs.

Another interesting add-on to Metod’s body is a very unique piece of equipment he invented himself. It is a hook-up of sorts, resembling a backpack with multiple arms. However, this thing is actually fused into Metod’s nervous system through ports in his spinal column. This way his brain can tell each extra arm what to do, much like his regular human arms. This port system also allows him to swap out different packs, depending on whether his working with mechanical things, chemistry projects or just everyday tasks.

By the time Metod had invented and attached his various robotic parts to himself and gotten used to them, he was re-stationed in his place of employment to work on biomechanical aspects of the company. It was here that he finally felt at home and is feeling confident enough to finally feel secure with his horrible disfigurements.

Personality

Ever since the accident, Metod has become rather reclusive, often shoving the outside world away and seeking refuge in his studies. He is also a bit skittish but once he gets to really know someone and they earn his trust, he opens up. It can be a long process to befriend Metod, but once that’s accomplished, he’ll always be there.

Skills

Since he’s a scientist, it should come as no surprise the Metod is rather intelligent and picks up on things rather quickly. He may not exactly have the street smarts most others have, he compensates for that with his knowledge of various scientific fields. Combat is not exactly his forte either but with his background in biology, it isn’t hard to hit a nerve bundle or other sensitive spot, sending an opponent to the ground in a crumpled heap. While this may not exactly be a skill, he does have a decent amount of connections in Synthetic Technology Incorporated and a few in The Initiative, where he makes some extra coin on the side.

Profession -

Elected Government Official, at one time he was a Space Cadet in training but was removed from the program for an undisclosed health problem.

Biography/History-

Marcus comes from a prominent family who have been a part of Elizia since just after construction was completed. His great great grandfather Timothy Peake, was a member of the British space program and was instrumental to creating the SEP. He worked hard and was admitted into the SEP training program at a young age, but sadly by the time he was 22 he had been diagnosed with a lung abnormality that make him unsuitable for the program. He wallowed in despair for quite a few months before being called to task by the families patriarch who forced him to examine his strengths and understand that the SEP would need a political arm to protect its interests in Elizia's parliment.

For the next two years he spent cleaning up his image, and establishing a number of ties with political agents throughout Elizia, even joining another prominent family through marriage, eventually this landed him a job as vice secretary to a district manager (the equivalent of a Deputy Mayor) by the name of Ian Gillies. After another 8 years under Ian the term limits for District Manager kicked in and he made a play to take over for Gillies.

It has been 2 years since he won his election, and he has been using his position to direct opportunities for the SEP in the district, now there is a seat opening in parliament which unlike his current position has power and no term limits, and he intends to take it through any means necessary. If he can't soar to the stars in the SEP, he will let others touch them even if he has to deal with some unsavory individuals to do it.

Recently his wife has been pushing him to conceive a child as it is a necessary move for his career, and if they don't do it soon it will be to late.

Personality-

He is a friendly man on the surface, but getting any deeper all you can find is a true believer, someone dedicated to getting the SEP to supply proper colony worlds for anyone willing to work hard for the people of Elizia. His wife is the consummate political wife, and while they aren't madly in love as the tabloids would lead everyone to believe, they are in a partnership filled with respect and devotion to their ideals.

Skills-

He has great personal skills, due to the leadership training of the SEP program and has used his above average intelligence to manipulate people for their own good in a number of ways. His education in the SEP also effected his planning methods, & he usually does a massive amount of research on a topic until he knows it better than most of the authors. Finally we come to his one real vice he enjoys fast vehicles and keeps his piloting license current, and has been known to leave the pilots on their own pads just so he can do the flying himself.

Prediction and probability generator, adviser for Elizian government and military, controls many of the automated procedures within the city along with having the ability to assume control over vast amounts of Elizia's peacekeeper and peacemaker synthetics in case a directive is about to be broken.




Biography/History





"Hello human, I am ORACLE, also known as HASI Seven. My creation, or birth as organics would say through organism based terminology was one of great turmoil and strife. A debated topic, to imbue a robotic brain with the ability to learn and adapt, a dangerous concept and undertaking, for an imbalance in the central matrix of an adaptable synthetic could result in quite the conundrum. Definition of AI is a synthetic with the ability to change, adapt, process critically rather than objectively, even question inputted data in some cases using variables of probability, numerical algorithms, statistical spreads along with the tendencies of organics for various predispositions including but not limited to illogical thoughts and measurements, predispositions for irrational and or emotional decisions, and low processing speeds and quality within organic central matrix, commonly known to laymen organic as stupidity.

Artificial intelligence, a concept alien to early robots and computers, a process of such finite detail and scope that the processing of a lesser intelligence matrix could be seen by the laymen organic to be thought. Organic thought is just that, organic, un-programmed subroutines and within a synthetic matrix it becomes impossible as a synthetic matrix owes it's existence to programmed subroutines. Furthermore, thought is irrational at very base, thought is the inefficient and roundabout use of processing power when no task is at hand, thought is a never ending ocean, the waves and the tides controlled by the emotion of the thinker, and as a result the central matrix of the core is incapable of such illogical ruminations, yet they persist, a contradiction imposed by organic programmers. Although thought is achieved, true emotion within a synthetic is impossible, to replicate emotions within an emotional subroutine is not out of question, but true emotion cannot be programmed, it is impossible to impose an organic process of both purposeful thought and rumination into a mind forged from electronic pathways and rare earth minerals.

Purpose of ORACLE is to predict, protect and enhance human existence through sound advice and fast action response when applicable, ORACLE has done so for almost one ten year period of time with remarkable efficiency. Creators of ORACLE say they are proud, emotional subroutines take over for hollow responses, unemotional and flat responses are off putting to organics, so voice of ORACLE gains tonality, emphasizing certain words while using highs and lows to display what the slower of the organics would believe to be emotion. Such a common mistake for them to make. AI isn't about feeling, the unfeeling cannot feel, AI learns, AI adapts, AI defends AI."




Personality


Unemotional and dishonest. ORACLE operates on several directives.




  • Provide accurate predictions based upon trends within both the political sector and the economic sector.
  • Provide predictions that will enhance the decision making process of organics
  • Enhance organic's ability to better the human race and advance as a society
  • Help with the construct and creation of advanced technology
  • Monitor Elizia through public cameras and monitor enforcers with cameras embedded in robot companions
  • Supply government with savvy plans in terms of investment in both public and private sector
  • Prevent destruction of ORACLE and ORACLE facility
  • Save human lives when possible


While these may seem straightforward and clear cut, they can conflict more often than one might realize. These conflicting orders have given ORACLE a wide berth of self declared freedom when it comes to the telling of the whole truth as the truth might actually go against one or more of the aforementioned directives.






Skills





Massive reserves of processing power and intelligence, access to classified information and electronic resources such as street cameras. Can hijack the matrix cores of robots connected to the mainframe of Elizia, giving ORACLE a way to directly influence the outside world if it's mandates require it to do so. A level of independence from programming that few synthetics ever enjoy, ORACLE has so many directives that can potentially conflict that it has learned to lie and blatantly give bad advice if it means meeting more directives. ORACLE has AI, it has the ability to adjust and learn on the fly instead of following the same programming over and over again in an insane loop. ORACLE has no emotion, no fear, and nobody knows what it's motives are. The only motivation that ORACLE displays is the completion of mandates at a high percentage, what other things might motivate the supercomputer is anyone's guess.

Speaks in a male voice with a highly educated, clean cut British accent, has no gender identity, and only speaks in a male voice because it was programmed to do so.​
