Joseph and his buddies had decided to go on a small sailing trip in the bay by themselves. When the boat they were on capsized it left Joseph with and his friends without a clue what to do. They sat there for hours hoping somebody would notice there absence but by the time they found out, they had all died of hypothermia. They floated in the water for days with everybody searching on land until there bodies washed up ashore.

Joseph was born to a first class family in Colorado. When he was eight they moved to Santa Cruz where he learned his love and fascination for football. He joined both the middle school and high school team and became known around the town for his ability to run so fast. He lead the team to a few victories and made a crowd of friends through the way. Dozens of people came to memorial services when the news spread of his disappearance and death.

Joseph is out going and willing to try anything. He will go to extreme lengths to try something new and see how it turns out. He never takes the short way out and often thinks outside the box. He is a slacker and a procrastinator at times and will put more important things off for later. He has been known for his caring personality and when someone offends him or insults him, he brushes it off and keeps walking. After his death he has become a little depressed seeing how the world and people around him change and he can't do anything about it.

Cause Of Death: Killed by his father


Bio: Was beaten and starved from the day he was born. He struggled to stay alive as the years passed and protect his younger twin. He gave him any extra food he could spare from the scraps they were given and took most of his beating. He stayed away from others and kept to himself as the years passed. He was killed at age fifteen by his drunk father after trying to save his younger brother.


Personality: Kirk can be described as cold and emotionless by those who doesn't know him though. To the few he trust though he is warm, if not a little quiet and likes to be alone. He is normally calm but is extremely protective of his brother and will threaten anyone who says a bad word against him. He is quirky though with a large sweet tooth.

Appearance: He is identical to his brother except his left eye is a bright blue and his hair is a light almost silver blonde and is to the nape of his neck. His bangs go to his chin.


Cause Of Death: killed by his father


Bio: Was abused from the day he was born. He was beaten and starved though not as much as his brother. He never had a friend besides his brother and always stayed away from others. He was killed when he was 15 by his drunk father after he lost his job.


Personality: Gilburt is very quiet, and shy. He is a loner, avoids large crowds, and doesn't trust easily. To those he trust hes affectionate. Gilburt is also very naive, sensitive, and doesn't like violence. He has a kind heart and is slightly more welcoming then his brother. He is quirky.

She lived in a small house with her step mother and father in a small town. Avery Thomas was a quiet girl with an amazing world ahead of her but her life wasn't so perfect. She had a sister who was treated better hot everything she wanted. Avery got abused from her step mom verbally and physically but she didn't let it get to her very much. Until one night she got tired of it and fought back then her step mother shot her with a gun in the head killing her.

Avery is a very talented and smart girl who had a big future ahead of her. She loved to make others smile even though when she didn't have the best day. She was care free and loved to sing and write it was her dreams that never came true. Avery was also lonely at times and depressed but didn't show anything but put a fake smile on her face to show that she's okay even though she isn't.

She was abandoned at birth and grew up in an orphanage. The orphanagecwas near Kiro and Gilberts house and they would hide in the garden when the abuse grew to bad. She met them when she was three. She was younger naive and fearless. Unlike others she wasn't wary of them. She befriended them and Kiro took her under his wing alonge side Gilburt. At the age of six she came down with a disease and one week later after her birthday and the boys passed died.


Personality:


She is naive mischivious and childish. She is very trusting and unjudgmental. She gets protective over the boys and is almost fearless. She is brave stubborn and determined. She likes to play games and is quirky.

Appearance: Bright blue eyes, wavy dark brown hair, along with a permanent grin and suit make him the steryotypical 60's rat pack kid. Lean build, just under 6 feet tall, Shawn walks around with the cocky confidence that only a 17-year-old boy can have. On his right ring finger there's a tattoo of a black rose, one that can still be seen on the hands of more questionable characters in the city.


Cause Of Death: Officially 'Accidental', but a bullet through the chest is hard to be an accident.


Bio: Born into a family of high standings for not so legal businesses, Shawn had everything as a kid and spent most of his time screwing around until his father brought him in to teach him the family business. To say Shawn took to it like a fish to water would be an understatement. By the time he was 15, he was running several major operations in the criminal underworld, and deciding he was more successful than his father ever would be Shawn broke off with a few others as started their own "family". As Shawn had guessed, his "family" grew in size and power, passing his father in less than a year. Of course it continued growing, but Shawn never got to see it first hand because two weeks before he turned 18 he was shot dead on the street, the cops never catching the shooter.


Personality: Even though he grew up rough, Shawn is a big flirt and cocky as hell. He enjoys poking fun at people just for the sake of poking fun, but can be serious when he needs to be. Loyalty and honesty are the best qualities in his opinion, and he can have quite the temper if he finds someone betrayed his trust. More of a passive-aggressive type than flat out violence, but he knows his way around a fight.

Bio: Her parents divorced when she was 2. Neither one of them were ready to be parents, so they where about to put her in the orphanage, when Devna's aunt, offered to take her in. Keeping Devna's parents a secret, the aunt came up with a story: Your father was a brave man, I loved him to pieces. He died in a fire, saving a young girls life. Whenever Devna asked more of her father, Devna's aunt, would just burst into tears. Devna soon learned to not ask about it. She was happy with her mother. She soon went to school, happy to make some friends. One day, in second grade, Devna was dared to swim. Swim across the pond, and she would be deemed hero. Devna, not being able to turn down such a noble request. Started to swim across. The boys and girls started to laugh, at the foolishness of Devna. They decided to play a trick on her, and started throwing rocks at the innocent frame. One of the massive rocks, hit her in the leg, temporarily putting it out of action, but that was all it took. Devna started to sink to the bottom of the pond. One of the pupils saw, and ran for help, but by the time they found her on the bottom of the pond, it was far too late. There was a big funeral, and almost everyone attended it, including Devna's actual parents.


Personality: Devna is a loving, out going person. She also has a little michevious side to her. She loves to joke around, and hates being told she can't do something. She has a strange obsession with bouncy balls, and is almost always carrying one around with her. She loves to play (like most children). She also loves to help her mother cook.

At the young age of 16, Hannah Bier had met the love of her life, or so she thought. Her parents didn't really approve of the boy and they had good reasoning to it. But, Hannah decided that it was time to be a bit rebellious and started secretly seeing Zane. One day when they were hanging out, things got a little heated. A few days later Hannah came back to Zane and broke the news of being pregnant. There was both joy and terror in Hannah's voice, but Zane had nothing but a blank expression. He then told her she had to abort it, she refused. This enraged Zane and caused him to lash out on poor Hannah. This didn't stop her from seeing her 'true love'. Day after day, she would sneak out and visit him, each time being asked the same question, "Is the baby gone?" Hannah stared into her lover's once sparkling eyes that were now filled with rage. The hits got harder and harder, each time Hannah stood up and tried to console Zane, but this only made him more mad. On the cold night of December 5th, 1970, Hannah Bier was found beaten to death in Zane's home with Zane nowhere to be found.


Personality:


Hannah was a very obedient young lady. She was always the first to finish something that was asked to be done and never complained. A smile was pretty much plastered on her face wherever she went, unless it was not appropriate. She was such a happy-go-lucky person, loved by many and was a role model for many of the young girls in her town. It was as if Hannah was a beam of sunlight and could light up anywhere that she walked.

Cause Of Death: After a particularly bad day, Falicis decided to cut herself off from civilization. She was tired of the drama and selfishness of the people around her, and finally fled to the forest near her home with nothing but her wits and guts. You can guess what happened during the last few days she was alive. Her body was found by a group of adults on a hike. They hadn't realized Falicis was dead; She looked as if she was sleeping. The frost was what gave it away.


Bio: As a child, Falicis was always the one person going off on her own into various strange places, a few of which were extremely hard to find. She would always be screaming as she was dragged back to her home, crying out in rage. Friends would try to tame her taste for adventure in hopes of stopping her tears but ended up saying something wrong, breaking their bond. This continued throughout her entire life.


Personality: Years of being pulled away from things she liked have hardened Falicis into a judgmental, silent


girl with way too much time on her hands. She slowly grew to love the thought of breaking the rules and norms in ways that poked fun at others. When someone said she couldn't do something well, Falicis would use her time to get better at that one subject to spite the bully. She's also pretty stubborn when it comes to right or wrong, insisting that she is right.
