The Kingdom of Phaedon was ruled by a long standing dynasty for over a thousand years. Overnight the throne was overthrown by an Usurper, a stranger from a distant land. Phaedon was once a wealthy realm, but over the past several generations had fallen in matters of influence. Wars had taken their toll on the economy. Marriages had gone poorly. The gods clearly disfavored Phaedon and its emperor to have sent a stranger to assume the mantle of the throne.
Who is this stranger ruler? As wealth has begun to return to the lands many ask this very question. Rumors now abound that the emperor must marry and produce an heir. But he seems uninterested in searching for his queen. So it is up to his advisers to find him the perfect mate…
