Brief Synopsis:
Xystos was born the son of a well-known merchant. Most in his family wanted him to be just like the parents. They wanted him to marry well and continue the family business, but it wasn't long before he was recognized as being gifted with the sword and spear. As a kid he was headstrong and strong-willed, but not ignorant. His natural talent for combat was quickly recognized by his parents and he began his training early. The vast majority of those in the academy came from families where the head of the family had already been knighted or ennobled, thus making him the outsider. He was promoted to knight at the age of eighteen and was known for his ability to remain calm and composed in tense situations along with his strong sense of duty. Given his skill in crafting weapons and fighting prowess, he was eventually selected as the leader of his regiment upon completing a number of brief campaigns. Xystos is often distant, though he still believes in both loyalty and friendship. While he does not have much of either, he still yearns to become a renowned fighter like those of legend in Daran history.
