Atlas:Void rising​

Upon the continent of Terra Aestas, the splintered Human kingdoms wage war on each other for ultimate control of a cruel, desert land, now painted with the blood of soldiers and innocents alike. Meanwhile, the Beastfolk tribes in the jungles to the south question the senseless violence of these so-called "cultured" societies, but are those jungles really such a paradise? Or do all the trees just make it easier to mask the true brutality of nature?

Beyond the Human continent lies a mysterious and beautiful island kingdom, home to the Elves and their wondrous magic, an enigma to most of the other races of the world. However, a question lies on everyone's lips: what magnitude of power do the Elves truly hold? and what do they plan to do with it?

But, where is your place in this world of perpetual chaos? Are you a brave Dwarven warrior who wishes to explore their heritage? A once mighty kingdom, a continent in the far north that rises above all others, though no voyage there has ever returned, not for a thousand years. Will your expedition be the first to discover the fate of the Dwarves of old?

Or, are you one of the infamous Elven mages, those who rarely leave their own country? But, perhaps you defied your peers and adventured out to see the rest of the world. Maybe your natural curiosity draws you towards the black moon at the bottom of the world, which is rumored to be slowly ascending into the planet's atmosphere, casting a larger and darker shadow as it rises, creating impassible storms and inexplicably changing the life that dwells below it.

It's your decision, what path you will take in this world, just know that the further you stray from home, the deadlier your journey will become. But, that's what makes it so much fun, after all.
