All the lore is on a discord -- though there are two forums on RPN you can read about the game:
this is the orders thread where people submit their commands:

this the process thread where I, the GM, process those...
@Scourge Jobias @Arnalia :
We've been adding new players as players already in the game die. If you're interested I'll keep you informed. I love introducing new players to nation building also, so I'll keep that in mind! <3
i'll let you know when next we have an opening. dragons however are entirely too powerful to play (usually) in this game world , though not out of the question. this game is mainly about nobles competing and cooperating for power. dragons, when they show themselves could destroy whole provinces!!!
I'm moving the interest check to the Group Section... everyone here will get a mention so they can watch that thread instead and I'll remove this one.

Sorry for confusion!
That's a simple question with lots of complex answers.
I'd basically say that for people who don't love mechanics -- it's not as important to understand them as know that they are there.
People can embrace the mechanical or just declare what they'd like to do and let the "dice" fall where they...
The "Wolftime" is finally over, a decades spanning period of infighting and instability in the City-States where neighbor warred against neighbor and the old order was shattered with the forging of the new. The Overlord Xeres is no more -- The era of the Underlord Houses is at hand...
The...
By popular declaration we are shelving the idea of alien players for the time being (but may bring them in once the alien war has escalated) -- people who want to play Xcom Organizations will be contacted shortly.
We may do both, @Master of Lava -- if I'm feeling ambitious. I have a feeling that by making it alien players vs. earth players the game will to a certain extent generate a lot of it's own content, though I as GM will keep things organized/moving forward.
This thread is an interest check in the two below concepts -- Players leading an unprepared earth facing an escalating alien invasion, or Players leading an escalating alien invasion on an unprepared earth.
The concept seeds are below but it basically boils down to whether people want to play...
I’m really pumped too but I am afraid starting with too many players would make the game unwieldy, hard to progress. For now enjoy your other projects and I’ll be thinking of you!
I think I am going to cap the game at approximately ten players, and if the game is too sluggish/heavy with that many people some gods may die out in the early game (or people may drop out as they sometimes do)
