People don't like change, is what it really boils down to. There are many more happy people than unhappy, it's just the happy ones are busy exploring the new things or getting back to what they were doing before, while the unhappy are busy complaining instead.

People are entitled to point out what they don't like about things. The initial reaction to something is always useful to developers who engage their communities, as the RPN devs do, so they can understand what it is their community wants.
