Fair point. Those guys ruin it for people like me, who actually want something meaningful. It's just frustrating When you find someone you're generally intrested in and you summon up the courage to try and initiate conversation, and you don't even get a response.

It just makes me think that no girl will ever truly like me for me, ya know? Especially when you're surrounded every freaking day with couples and bland school, and snoring roommates depriving you of sleep and my depression...it just feels like hell

Oh, I get that. Been there, done that. You just have to understand why girls don't always message back. It takes a lot for some girls to actually message back.

We've all been there (okay maybe not EXACTLY but mostly). It gets better. You're still a smol adult, you have plenty of time.

I have a 30+ lb dog that thinks he's a smol bean and lays on my head. I'd take snoring over that any day tbh

It's just this nagging voice in my head telling me I'm doing life wrong. And I swear that a cruel and spiteful God gave me my roommate. Fun Fact: He blamed me for his bad grades

Well, does your dog fart in his sleep? Does he constantly leave your room in a Mess? Do you want to hit your dog right now?

Does the dogs snoring just burrow into your brain like a parasite, and the few seconds he stops is like a sweet reprieve? Does the dog compete with the highest volume you've ever had on your headphones?

I'm just so angry and sad and...-sighs-

Hey man, I've gone through similar feelings. Matter of fact they were recent. I've done the whole dating site stuff multiple times with a handful of girls. The fact is, and this is probably going to upset someone, is that there are girls on there that just want attention from cute guys. They aren't all that interested in a relationship like you and I might be.

There's a few out there similar but it's rare. Don't expect much from those. I found meeting someone online better for me because you get to know them and if they make you happy now, just imagine in person. It's hard and you have to be careful (suggest video calling always). But it truly is worth finding the right person.

But hey, if you find someone near you that way, that's all the better. (: Just don't give up or feel hopeless. There's someone out there. You seem like a great guy.
