Shark vs Orca {MoxieDov X Rai Kenzai}

MoxieDov

Duchess of Procrastination
Water enveloped his figure as he dived into the dark ocean, the cool liquid running through his surprisingly dry hair. Ripples and small bubbles were left in the man's wake as he swam at a swift speed. Despite the pace he was retaining, a relaxed expression remained upon his pale face. His arms stayed close to his tall form, tail outstretched as he moved. This activity would be considered out of the norm for the orca, as he would often much prefer to walk to his destination. Though, tonight, he had an adrenaline rush and had no choice but to succumb to it's need for action.

Legs reached out and fell upon the path, causing all the momentum he had gathered to halt to a sudden stop. He jogged for a couple of seconds, before settling down to a stroll. Not even a second after he had begun to walk, his gloved hand shot to his suit pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and underwater lighter. As Idate sauntered leisurely, he proceeded to light the small stick and placed it to his lips. Breathing in the fumes it emitted, he held it in his lungs for a couple of seconds. Just as he placed the lighter back into his pocket, he breathed the smoke out into the clear water.

A dozen minutes would past and he would still find himself on a stroll. He was now within a town of the Sea Kingdom, somewhere he had been countless times before. Idate glanced at his surroundings, quickly spotting the bench he had made his smoking spot for the last week. A small smirk crept it's way onto his face, making his way over to it in mere seconds. He plopped down upon the oak wooden object, slinging an arm onto the back of it. His dark eyes surveyed the mermaids and fish who were still out in the streets, wondering who he should play with next.

After his daily chores and some community jobs, Samekichi felt at ease with life and everything it offered. The events that transpired long ago still give him a few reminders. For a shark, he feels cool and calm which was odd for him. The day then passes by with Wadanohara's familair cracking a few jokes at the shark, but he simply ignored it, which even he found weird.

As day passes, Samekichi patrols around to make sure there were no trouble in the kingdom. He trusted a great number of people but not everybody. Doing his final rounds, he see's nothing unusual but the kingdom felt too safe, he had no issue you with that, it just felt too wrong for peace to this long. In the back of his mind he wondered if another 'Sal' will appear but those thoughts ge attempted to ignore, heavily

Samekichi done with his paranoid patroling, he ventures back home but smells something odd and remembering. He couldn't exactly figure out what it was, not even with his nose. He sniffed harder, he found out what that familair scent was! It smoke, from a cigarette. He couldn't think of who smoked them in the kingdom. He investigated, he looked behind a corner to see who was smoking at this hour

Taking another lung-full of smoke, he lifted the cigarette away from his colourless lips and suspended it a small distance from his face. The tainted gas swirled around within the pair of organs, creating a calming sensation to course through-out his body. He held the fume inside him for another couple of seconds, before opening his mouth ever so slightly and allowing the gas to seep from the gap. Puffs of greyish smoke floated up in-front of him, creating small air bubbles as it travelled upwards.

Due to time of the night and the activity he was currently preforming, a couple of passerbys shot him a intrigued glance, only to immediately turn away when the orca flashed them a devious smirk. Letting out a breathy chuckle, wondering why it was so easy and entertaining to frighten others. He assumed it was the same reason why he loved to play with all the other fish.

Shortly after he found out that a group of females, except the one that was actually asleep, was staring curiously at him, he caught sight of someone out the corner of his eye. It was a shark. One he was positive that he had played with before. What was his name again...?

Oh, Samekichi or something. Idate craned his neck in the direction towards the dark haired fish, a lazy smirk remaining upon his lips even though a dark glint shone in his eyes. He did not know how long the young male had been standing there, though that did not stop him from speaking up. "Don't you know it's rude to stare?" The orca questioned, his voice travelling through the water smoothly. He turned his head back to the front, eyes settling upon a nearby house and it's resident, who was visible from the first floor window. "Typical, stupid shark."

After seeing the passerbys get frightend by this mysterious orca, he felt pity for them when they're sad faces lit up. Samekichi was unable to help them or spring into action as it wasn't a crime, just the strange fellow being rude. Sanekichi had a very troublesome time trying to figure out who this guy was.

Samekichi was half tempted to leave as the orca technically wasn't doing anything wrong, but Samekichi heard his scolding remark and their eyes met. Samekichi acted as he wasn't there, while hiding hurt his pride he didn't know if this queer fellow was hostile or not, at least on a phyiscal level. Then he heard his second remark, which only made his blood boil.

Samekichi came out from his hiding spot and calmly walked near him but stayed 7 feet away for safety reasons. At first Samekichi looked at the rude orca until he started to remember him and when they met. His calm and cold stare turned into a pained and dishonored frown. He did his best to kerp his cool and faked his previous look.

When remembering Orca gave him a beat down, Samekichi was not pleased seeing him here. "Whaddya want? Trying to prey on the weak?" He said with a smirk, hoping that would be enough for him to explain his presense or better, getting him leave.

Arm moving automatically towards his mouth, his lips quickly wrapped around the form of the cigarette. It only took a moment for him to take another puff of the tobacco filled object and another to move it away. He could hear the advancing footsteps from his side, and it didn't take a genius to figure out who it was. Idate released the gas from his organs by opening his mouth, which was indeed filled with rows of razor sharp teeth, and breathing out gently.

Lifting his head in the direction of the shark, he took a short moment to analyse his features. Oh yeah, this one is definitely Samekichi. He's the familiar of that cute, little witch, who did look quite tasty as he had always wanted to taste witch meat.

Hearing the other's taunting words, the smirk upon his face remained, as if it was permanently pasted there. "Oh, don't mind me. I'm just taking a break from my stroll." Idate responded, pausing briefly for a couple of seconds before he continued speaking. "Although, a midnight snack may be nice." He stated, his lips twitching ever so slightly as if they were tempted to break into a grin. The dark haired man fell silent as he took another drag from his cigarette, blowing out the smoke from his mouth almost immediately after he inhaled it. "Ah, despite how tempted I am, I must say I'm still rather stuffed from the meal I ate earlier on. Would you like to know what I had?"

Samekichi was getting slightly annoyed as he felt his rival wasn't taking him seriously. He cringed at seeing his face in full view, getting him riled up. Smoke from the cigarette was also getting on his nerves as the scent with into his snout. He breathed heavily getting a wiff, also making him cough, slightly.

Samekichi thinks he never changed, same ol' helping himself Orca. He assumes Orca is lying for some odd reason, but for what reason? He grabs the cigarette in his hand and grabs it, throws it away.

"Oh yeah? I think that's bullshit. Just say what you want and stop with the snacking act. I know you helped 'us' years ago but that doesn't mean I respect you." Samekichi says with conviction behind his voice as if he thought Orca would attack him on the spot, so Samekichi waited there, clinching his fists. Waiting for an a reaction or a reason to strike

Gaze wandering away from the obviously agitated creature in-front of him, he realised that the small group of females had left and now was replaced by emptiness. In-fact, the streets of this reasonably sized town were now mostly empty, aside from the occasional fish passing by. He wasn't so used to silent streets, as the kingdom he comes from, often has fish drinking or smoking outside once the sun sets. Though, he would be lying if he said that the peacefulness wasn't somewhat nice.

His limb begun to angle itself towards his face once more, before a brash force smacked the precious item right out his very grasp. Idate's face didn't change for the following seconds, smirking as if nothing had ever happened. Remaining deathly silent as the shark spoke, he only reacted once the other fell quiet.

Dull hues shimmered with a dangerous shine, his eyes slowly moving to lock onto Samekichi. His lips remained slightly curled upwards, barely widening as he rose to his feet. Idate stood at fifteen centimetres taller than the other, the sharp fin upon his head only adding to his towering height. "Hm? When did I ever state anything that was a lie? I would like to think that I'm an honest man. Why can you not understand that I did not help you those years ago, and that I was simply doing something to past the free time I had." The male said, and if someone had been listening closely into the conversation, they could have sworn that the ocra's voice dropped an octave while he was speaking.

Samekichi noticing how dark it is, usually by this time he would be asleep, dreaming nice things, nice times. Instead he humors the tall orca, Samekichi feels a few shivers down his body. He puts his left hand in his pocket, he assumes he's getting under the whales skin.

Samekichi was tempted to slap him across his smug, annoying face. But resisted it as he didn't want to risk losing a fight, he knew his own abilities but not about his not-so friendly rival. When he said he didn't respect him, that was a small lie. He had a shred of respect for the orca, not much but enough for Samekichi to strike on instinct.

"So, you're telling me you didn't notice it? The blue sea of this kingdom was a red one. A blood-red one. You may have acted on your own, you did indeed help us or was saving us for your 'fun' but thanks to you, we had a chance to stay at peace. Now, I'll ask again, what are you doing here?" He looks angered, not getting the answers and respect he wanted from the large fish. A vein even appears on his forehead

Despite the fact that his eyes barely seemed to stray from their target, he noticed every little movement the other made. From the rigid shivering of his spine to his limb burying itself into a free pocket. Just for a brief moment, Idate's mind wandered off course from the subject he was supposed to be pondering. He seemed to purse his lips ever so slightly, as he wondered what the pained jolts and jerks of the shark's body would feel like under his fingertips.

The distinct sound of the male's voice managed to bring his mind back to the topic on hand, his lips returning to their smirking form. "If that thought pleases you, then who am I to ruin your happiness." Idate responded, somewhat bending the top half of his body so that his face lingered a reasonable distance directly in-front of Samekichi's.

"I already told you. I am just on a stroll. The streets of the kingdom where I come from can get quite hectic at night." The orca answered, amusement clear upon his face when he noticed the vein bulging from the other's head.

Samekichi is getting more and more angered by Orca's actions. Samekichi snarles, showing his razor-sharp teeth. He calms himself down with fond memories, closing his eyes, he was relaxed. Remembering Orca some more, The vien got bigger, snarling wider. If close enough you could hear a faint growl of anger.

"Listen" Samekichi grabs Orca's collar. "If you came on a 'stroll' or whatever! Why come here?! I.... No.... WE don't want your hectic kindoms influence! Beat it, pal. Go bother another kingdom." Samekichi releases Orca as he didn't want to start confict even though a side of him wanted pay back. Samekichi turns his back, as if he was leaving

"If you come near here again things won't be the same, and don't try coming near Wadanohara, got it?!" He say so, pointing at him. Samekichi's eyes widen as if he's stalking a prey. "By the way, I know how you look at people, so don't tell me your looking for a peaceful place to relax, that's just bogus. Stop lying to yourself and face facts" He says not moving wanting to hear Orca's next words before he leaves and rests calmly.

Letting out a breathy chuckle, he didn't even bother to stop himself from making another comment on the male in-front of him. "My, my. What a temper." He mumbled softly under his breath, the half smile upon his features inching larger as his mouth shut. After taking brief look at the teeth the other possessed, Idate could say, in mild surprise, that the incisiveness of the shark's seemed to match his own. Though, the orca doubted that Samekichi had ever needed to catch his own prey. No. He was just a familiar. He had a witch, or "master" to provide him with all his necessary needs.

The fabric of his jet black gloves scrunched the base of his sharp fingers, as they flexed as a sign of mild irritation. Though, Idate stared directly at the young male, casually listening to the "advice" that other was giving him. Once the cloth of his freshly cleaned shirt was released, the orca returned to his original height, arms limp by his side as Samekichi continued with his words.

Completely ignoring the accusing action that was directed towards him, Idate began to rummage around in his coat and trouser pockets. Pulling out his trusty pack of cigarettes , the orca parted his lips once more. "First of all, I do not know, neither do I want to, what crazy laws you have here. I was simply enjoying my time, before a witless, dumb fish approached me." He started, picking one out from the box of a dozen, before placing the rest back into his pocket. "Secondly, I do not see a problem with a man taking his daily stroll in a foreign town. You were the one who initiated this very, if I must say, unpleasant conversation. Oh? Well, I cannot promise you that. After all, she is quite a cute little girl." The dark haired man added, removing his underwater lighter from his possession and flicking on the flame. Taking a moment to light the end of the item, which was the source of his addictions, he shot a swift glance at Samekichi.

"Lastly, that cigarette of mine, the one you ruined, does in fact have a hefty price. And sooner or later, you will pay for it. " Idate stated, placing the said item into his mouth as he took a couple of strides away from the bench. He shot a larger smirk that normal at the shorter fish, before turning away to the side. With the item still poking out from his lips, his body began to change in size and shape.

Seconds past, and the spot where a human-like creature once stood, was now inhabited by a 8 metres long orca. The large animal made a noise, as if bidding farewell to the now, petite male close by. It turned itself around, showing that the tiny cigarette had remained in his mouth and that it hadn't snapped due to the excess power of the male's gigantic jaws. Idate merely looked at Samekichi before swimming upwards and over him, heading in the direction of his home.

As seeing the confident Orca, Samekichi, walked to his home to eventually sleep, tired due to his patroling and his not-so friendly conversion with Orca. Samekichi pondering if he comes back.... Hopefully not.

"Hmph, that damn Orca." He says to himself, walking in the door. He sits on his bed thinking if he did throw a punch what would happen? Samekichi trying not to think about it, not helping though. He finally rests, getting some shut eye.

Samekichi kept having dreams of himself bleeding out, unable to move, like before. Watching Orca beating Wadanohara with her familairs beaten around her.Eventually it turned into a images of Orca "Snacking" on something, then it cuts to him smoking, assuming to relieve himself.

Waking up in the middle of the night, Samekichi, breathing helpfully. Unable to believe what he dreamt, attempting to sleep again, but unable to do so. Afraid of his next nightmare that might happen in his slumber. Feeling as if he a great terror is coming.

Finally resting, having calming dreams, waking up to everyone greeting him, in a playful way. Samekichi responded with a sarcastic tone. Helping out in the kingdom he treasured as "home". He would defend this land with everything, so he thinks to himself, doing his daily chores.

Many minutes past and he would find himself still in his alternate form, cruising through the dark waters of the vast ocean. Some would argue that it was not safe for a single person to wander around at a time like this, though Idate vastly disagreed. After all, he had been blessed with the gift of simply being an Orca. Something that he was immensely proud of. In the past, he had been approached by foolish creatures, some sharks, and been threatened for his belongings. Of course, those fish would not bother him ever again. Or anyone else for that matter. You would need to be able to move to do that.

Entering his home on his own two feet, Idate let out a long-awaited sigh, stubbing his cigarette out on the silver ashtray he kept on a table right by the door. The drunkards out in the street had made the wise decision of leaving the orca alone as they spotted him striding down the pavement. One or two of the fish had begun to approach the male, though was only pulled back by their companions. Mostly everyone in the kingdom knew who Idate was; the lone, smoking orca with the suit and smirk. His reputation was not exactly a nice one, and if you would ask some of the residents, they would say very interesting facts about him. Some of them would amuse others, and some would scare.

It had been over two hours since Idate rose from his somewhat peaceful slumber. The male had spent his morning feasting on a truly extravagant meal he had taken the time to prepare, and stocking up on supplies for the future. He did not waste money buying pre-killed meat when he could just hunt them himself for free. Now, the orca was currently making his way towards the ice palace of his kingdom, where the much-loved Prince of the Artic Ocean resided with his many guards and subjects. It wasn't like the Prince had requested for Idate's presence, though it simply was that the male had nothing better to do this day.

Pushing open the large gates of the exquisite castle, the orca smoothly exited the royal building. With a cigarette in-between his lips, Idate began to ponder the state of his ruler. There were little people in this world that he truly respected but thankfully, the royal polar bear-like human was one of them. He noticed, when he had managed to speak to the male without his four personal guards lingering around the room, that the Prince was not being his usual flamboyant self. This brought faint worry into the man's heart, since on one hand, he did not care if the young male was upset and depressed, though on the other hand, this sudden lack of happiness could be a signal that something was going to happen.

~~~
Before he knew it, night had already fallen upon the day. The orca had happily spent the rest of his day upon the giant slabs of snowy ice that always floated above the kingdom. It was always quite chilly up there, but he didn't mind. The cold air prickled his pale skin, giving him a new sensation other than water. While he was up there, Idate spoke with these tiny animals up there, creatures called; "Penguins". There were also sea lions and seals, who all looked quite tasty. Fortunately for them, he was still quite full from the large breakfast he'd consumed earlier on. Though, now, as he lazily yet swiftly moved through the water, he had grown a little peckish.
Legs stretching out to reach the ground, same as he had done previously, the orca ceased the swimming of his alternate form and had managed to change back before hitting the path. He had landed a couple of metres away from the spot he had spoke with Samekichi yesterday, and at a similar time. Unlike last night, Idate did not automatically reach for a cigarette, as he did not want to erase the taste of shark from his mouth so quickly. Also the fact that his teeth and inside of his mouth were completely coated with blood and quite a commotion may happen if someone spotted the crimson colour.
