Realistic or Modern Gangland 2025

"He lives!" Johnathan greeted him teasingly. He hadn't seen or even heard Joseph at all since he arrived. As the boys sat down at the table he set plates of food out for them. "So how are you tonight? Winning that game your playing up there?" (@DrTrollinski )
 
"Oh, yeah. It's pretty easy, to be honest... I'm playing a bit of everything, and I'm on my laptop doing stuff on the internet, so..." He shrugged simply as he picked up his fork and began to eat. George was way ahead of him and was already stuffing his face with the macaroni and cheese. Mmm. It was very nice, indeed. ".. What about you? Been up to anything interesting today?" He asked. "Sounds like fun." He smiled. Grabbing a plate and joining them. "I haven't been up to much lately. Just work and running errands. Babysitting you guys has been the most exciting thing I've done this week." That was definitely a lie, but there was no way he was telling them what he'd actually been up to. (@DrTrollinski )
 
".. Oh, fair enough." Joseph smiled. George stopped eating after a couple of minutes and looked at Joseph.


"Joseph, Johnathan said that he'd come to the vineyard with us and dad." He grinned, Joseph chuckled a little and nodded.


"That's cool, man. I remember going there when I was a little younger - haven't been there since then. It's a pretty fun time they can set you up with there, so when you get time off work you should definitely come with us all. Hopefully before the end of the summer - We'll start getting schooled again after that, so... It'd be nice to get out there while we've got the time off." He said as he ate some more of his meal. He sniffed a few times and noticed the smell of something sweet cooking. It smelt nice. ".. What's cooking, John?" He asked. (@Axel1313)
 
"I think I'll definitely be able to find some time before then to go with you guys." He smiled. "And what you're smelling right now is a chocolate cake in the oven. You can't possibly like chocolate cake though." He joked. (@DrTrollinski )
 
"Are you kidding? Chocolate cake's my favorite." He grinned at him and then continued eating for a moment, a minute later he stood up and went to the sink and poured himself a glass of water. ".. Either of you want a drink, guys?" He asked. (@Axel1313)
 
"So I've been told." He chuckled at the excited reaction. "Sure, I'll take a glass of water. As soon as you guys are finished with your mac and cheese the cake should be ready. It's just sitting in the oven cooling off a bit at the moment."(@DrTrollinski )
 
Joseph nodded and fetched both Johnathan and George a glass of water alongside his own before returning to his seat and starting off on his meal again. The sun was just starting to set, but it was still quite nice outside. Both the boys finished off their meals fairly quickly over the course of ten or so minutes, and of course George was the first to finish - seeing as they had dinner early, while John and Joseph were finishing off their meal, he ran upstairs and grabbed a board game they could play once they'd had the cake. They could fit in one game before he had to get bathed and bedded, surely. While Joseph was finishing off his food, he was talking to Johnathan about the black sun - after listening to the conversation a few minutes after Joseph had finished, George butted in with an excited grin.


"Can we have cake now?" He asked. (@Axel1313)
 
Johnathan listened intently as Joseph talked to him about the black sun. He sure had done his research on them. Before he could ask any follow up questions George came back down with the board game and asking for cake. "Sure! It should be all done now." Grinning he got up and got it out of the oven. Cutting it into as even of slices as he could and handing them both one.(@DrTrollinski )
 
They instantly tucked into their cake. Oh. My. God. This was incredible. Joseph was in a world of his own. He didn't think he'd ever had chocolate cake that was better than this. He was amazed, and eventually did ask where Johnathan learned to cook like this. All of a sudden, Joseph wanted either John or his girlfriend to bake the cake for his eleventh birthday next May.


"Can we play a game after we've ate? We have time, right? Like, before I have to have a bath? I've got snakes and ladders." He grinned between each bite of cake. (@Axel1313)
 
"Let me see." Johnathan looked back at the clock to check the time. It was only 6:30, that should be plenty of time. "Yeah, sure. We should have more than enough time to play at least one game before you have to take a bath." (@DrTrollinski )
 
"Okay!" He started eating his cake a little faster to keep up with Joseph - by the time he was done, he felt a little sick, but not too bad overall. He ran and washed his hands, wiped his face, and then grabbed Johnathan by the hand to drag him into the living room where he had the Snakes and Ladders board game set up on the ground. He grinned and sat down at one side of it.


".. I'll go put his bath on now, so that way it'll be ready when we're done here." Joseph said before walking out of the room and heading upstairs to the main bathroom of the house. This one was by far the fanciest one. (@Axel1313)
 
Johnathan only had enough time to make sure the stove and oven were shut off before he was dragged into the living room. He was going to have to wash the dishes after he made sure the boys were in bed. "Okay, feel free to come back down an join us when you're done. The more the merrier right?" He chuckled as he took a seat on the other side of the board. (@DrTrollinski )
 
Joseph soon came back after putting George's bath on and decided to sit down and play the game with them. The game was fun, and George was a little too enthusiastic during the course of it. By the end of it, it ended up being Joseph that won, but it was debatable that it was luck that caused him to win the game overall. Joseph didn't need to have a shower until about 8:30, according to his father. George's bath must have been about ready by now. (@Axel1313)
 
"I think it's about time for your bath now George." Johnathan looked at the time. Not quite 7:30, but close enough. His knees and back popped as he stood up, it made him sound like an old man. "Come on, it should be all ready for you now."(@DrTrollinski )
 
".. Okay." He said, taking Johnathan by the hand while dragging him upstairs and into the bathroom. It was a big bathroom, wide and open with a huge bathroom in the center of it. The floor around the bathtub was one of the heated floors, so it was nice and warm whenever someone got out of the tub. He walked up to the edge of the bath and turned the faucet off - there were a lot of bubbles, but the water didn't look too hot. He waited for Johnathan to close the door, and then he got undressed and climbed into the bath. ".. Johnathan? Can you go get my pajamas from my room? They're in the drawer..." He said as he lied back in the water a little and smiled. (@Axel1313)
 
Yeesh, this bathroom had to have been at least half the size of his old apartment and twice as fancy. "Sure thing, I'll be back in a bit." It took him a little while to find George's room. He only knew where Michael's room was so he had to carefully peek in a few rooms until he found George's. After digging out his pajamas he returned to the bathroom. (@DrTrollinski )
 
George was playing with some rubber ducks in the bathtub when Johnathan returned. He was only playing for a few minutes, but then he started to wash himself - firstly he cleaned under his arms and then reached under the water to clean the more important areas of his lower body, once that was done, he washed behind his ears with the soap as well, but then he stopped, looked at the shampoo, and then looked at Johnathan. ".. Johnathan? Can you help me wash my hair? I don't wanna' fall under the water." He said. (@Axel1313)
 
It was an odd request, but he stood up and walked over to help him anyway. "Sure, I'll help you out with that." He grabbed the shampoo and knelt down by the edge of the tub.(@DrTrollinski )
 
The water was pretty deep and he didn't really know what he was going to do if he wanted to wash his own hair tonight. He'd probably end up falling under the water and that would just upset him. ".. I need you to, like--.. I need you to help me to stop goin' under the water." He explained as best as he could. ".. Sometimes dad helps and he puts his hand behind my head so I don't go under." He smiled and shrugged. (@Axel1313)
 
"Ooh, okay." Johnathan nodded understandingly. He had an idea of what he was talking about and figured that he just had to do about the same thing he did when he gave his girls a bath in the tub. "I think I get what you mean. I can do the same thing your dad does so your head doesn't go under." (@DrTrollinski )
 
"Yeah! That's it." George smiled warmly and lied back on his hand. It was nice to have someone different helping him out for once, because he knew that Joseph would never help him with stuff like this. Joseph was just there for other stuff. (@Axel1313)
 
"Glad to know that I'm of some help." He smiled and sat there patiently as George shampooed his hair. "When your done make sure that you get to bed on time. I'll be downstairs cleaning up supper." (@DrTrollinski )
 
George gulped. ".. Can't you come and tuck me in...?" He squeaked as he began washing the shampoo from his thick, black hair. ".. I don't wanna' go into my room and get into bed alone... Dad always comes with me..." He said softly, his face slowly turning into a gentle frown. (@Axel1313)
 
Johnathan's face turned to a soft smile. "Sure, I can do that. I'll even sit in there until you fall asleep if you want. I've got plenty of time to clean the kitchen up later tonight." He chuckled. (@DrTrollinski )
