Fandom Vampire Knight *The Next Story*

Akimu was once again shocked by Lucians question. He hadn't known that Lucian had noticed. Though Lucian always seemed full of surprises and one should never underestimate him. Akimu bit his lip and instinctively rubbed his right wrist. It has been a nervous gesture since he was young and right now his strongest emotion was nervousness as he tried to find a way to explain the reason for his steering. He thought of many things to say but none of them felt right so frustrated he finally blurted out the one way he could describe his reason with the least amount of embarrassment."A pulling attraction."


Okay so maybe that wasn't the least embarrassing way.
 
Lucian face remained calm as he looked Akimu over. Now knowing what he was staring for he decided what to do. He held his hand out to the young vampire "Come."
 
Hesitantly Akimu took Lucians hand wondering what he was going to do. Was he going to pull him closer so he could kill him? Perhaps disgusted that a person at a lower status was attracted to him. In the end all he could do was stick to his promise and trust Lucian.
 
Lucian pulled Akimu closer. He pulled him so close that Akimu was forced to sit on his lap "Consider this a way of saying it's okay to talk to me." he used his nails and put a small cut into his neck. He knew the others would smell it soon and come running, he didn't care anymore "Drink."
 
Akimu was startled by his actions and words. Blankly he gazed at the precious crimson leaking from Lucians neck as his mind caught up. Wen it did he hesitantly did as told and drunk the blood of a pureblood. He moaned at the taste his fingers finding their way into his hair to bring him impossibly close.
 
Lucian sat there, his face still calm and collected. Unlike others of Pure Blood status. He had no issue sharing his blood if you earned or deserved it. As Akimu drank from him his hand wrapped around the boy, some what enjoying the touch
 
Akimu sunk deeper into the embrace as he drank. Closing his eyes he relished in the sweet taste of blood from such a high standing vampire. He knew blood tablets and regular blood would never truly satisfy him again. There was no blood more satisfying than a purebloods after all.
 
Lucian began to feel for this boy upon his lap. His hand clutched to the boys back. He was actually enjoying himself. He was very.....pleased
 
Akimu whimpered as he felt the hand clutching his back. Content his hands loosened their grip on Lucians hair. One winded itself around Lucians neck. He knew he would have to pull away soon or risk taking to much. So for know he just relished in everything for as long as he could.
 
Lucians hand held still onto his back. As he drank, Lucian could here his blood leaving his body "Akimu, you must stop now."
 
Akimu whimpered in disappointment but did as told. He lapped at the cut as it closed. Pulling back his red eyes met Lucians and he smiled.
 
Lucian gave a small smile and gently touched his face "Never be ashamed of who you are." he looked at the door, knowing the rest will smell his blood soon
 
Akimu nuzzled the hand on his face getting comfort from it. His hands unwinding and moving to clutch at the front of Lucians shirt. Silently he waited knowing that soon others will come.
 
Lucian looked back to Akimu "Would you like to go so they don't get mad at you?" he knew the others would be mad. Everyone wanted to drink his blood. Then this boy comes along and get's to. What was the deal? The truth was, Lucian hides how nice he is, knowing nice will get you killed in the vampire world
 
Akimu shook his head burying it in Lucians chest. He knew even if he left they would somehow find out and would rather face it head on. Plus he was sort of hoping they wouldn't try anything with Lucian here. Angry vampires were not nice at all. He should know hes dealt with many in his long life.
 
Lucian looks at Akimu. This boy who now has an attachment to him. He gently pet's his head "Fine then. You may stay."
 
Akimu let a pleased purr escape him. He always had a bad habit of purring when happy or pleased. It used to get him teased as a kid but now no one seemed to mind. His eyes closed he butted Lucians hand not wanting him to stop.
 
Lucian continued, like Akimu was some kind of pet. It didn't matter. As long as the boy was happy. Lucian know what it's like to be an outcast. Nobody used to like him because he was a Pure Blood. Now everybody wants him
 
Akimu was embarrassed by how he was acting but couldn't seem to help himself. I has been years since he allowed someone to touch him. He never knew if he was about to be hugged or punched. When he was hurt he rarely fought back not liking the thought of adding to the violence . Eventually he just avoided contact all together.
 
Lucian looked at the cowering boy. He was to soft for this world. He needed to be looked after and so he would
 
Akimu snuggled closer as time passed. He felt protected and safe in Lucians hold. He wanted to stay there but knew reality had a way of ruining things.
 
Lucian closed his eyes and slowly fell into a deep sleep. He laid there, his hand stopped on Akimu's head
 
Akimu was surprised when Lucian relaxed under him asleep but pleased that he trusted him enough to be vulnerable around him. Smiling he buried his face in Lucians chest once again and followed his lead.
 
Kaoru, could smell it, that smell... blood but not just anyone's blood, not just anythings blood. It was Lucian's, a pure blood. He walked over to the class room where the smell was coming from and poked his head in the door and was a bit startled by what he saw. Akimu was nestled on Lucian's chest. It was clear what had just gone on. That wasn't really Kaoru's or anyone else's business so Kaoru shut the door and stood outside just glaring at any vampire that dared come near. Eventually the word must have spread that he was standing there because fewer and fewer vampires even came near the room. So Kaoru settled in for what could be a long time, just sitting outside the door and drawing.
 
Lucian awoke and set Akimu in the chair. He sensed him outside the door. So he straightened up "You can come in now Kaoru." He looked at the door and waited.
