Fantasy The Curse of The Howling Moonlight

"Sabella for one of the girls," she answered almost immedietly,"my mother used to sing me songs about a princess named Sabella when I was young." Vivian recalled softly and stood herself, taking their plates and gently setting them beside the wash basin.

"Audette for the other." Again she smiled thoughtfully at the names she had chosen in childhood for her children. Long before she even knew how children came about.

"And I suppose I'll let you choose a couple of names if we were to have two strapping young alphas." The shewolf purred sweetly over her shoulder at her mate.

Mary looked at him with a smile. "That would be lovely." She said glancing over at the door. "But wouldn't they know? Or did you milk your illness enough that they think you're dying?" She said with a curious chuckle.
Ash smirked "How about Deathrage and Bloodlust? Those are fitting names for alphas." He said jokingly coming up behind her and hugging her. Then on a more serious note. "What of Valac or Diatin?" Her asked gently kissing her cheek.

"I'll have you know that I did indeed feel and look as though I was dying!" He chuckled and looked at her with a mock hurt expression. "I was not questioned at all about it. So I am guessing that my commander did believe that I was very ill." He pulled the sheets up over his shoulders. "The only thing I hope for is that none of them come to check....particularly now. It is getting to be the full moon again...if they came too early or too late, while I was more wolfish...that would not be good."

She rolled her eyes playfully at his teasing before sinking back into his chest and letting his arms envelope her without hesitation.

"A definite no to the first two," she laughed softly and folded her hands over his,"but I do like Diatin and Valac. Strong names for my sons." Vivian purred; the thought of her children warming her heart.

Mary nodded "No that would not be good." She agreed "let us hope they come during the day." She said her eyes going back to the door. She could hear faint footsteps outside but didn't say anything to Marius for fear of keeping him from getting well needed rest she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "Goodnight." She said softly to him.

Yawning he leaned forward to return the kiss tenderly. "Goodnight." He sighed. Wondering why she kept looking towards the door, but that thought soon drifted off as sleep took him. His smile slowly faded away and his eyes fluttered shut as he completely relaxed, the feel of her next to him taking him off to a deep sleep.

A smile graced her lips and she closed her eyes, thinking back to the ever present memory of the song.

"She was a princess, who was loved by all. She was fair and delicate like princesses should be but there was a monster inside her. It was vanity. She was blind to the love the people gave her and only thought of herself until one day a witch came and turned her inside out.

The monster was revealed on the outside now and vanity is an ugly thing indeed. She could only become beautiful once more when she loved others as she had loved herself once. Sabella learned her lesson and loved the people and her family passionately."

Vivian's brown eyes fluttered open and blinked up at him with a wistful smile.

It was a nice story and it reminded him almost of how the wolfs have a beast inside them. Though he would had loved to have heard his mate sing it. "So what if the jinxs one of our daughters to be a horrible person until she learns her lesson?" He asked looking at her almost teasingly.

"Then I suppose she'll have to learn her lesson, not to that extent of course but learn it none the less." Vivian murmered quietly before glancing over to the glowing hearth of the fire.

"Let's sit, my feet are aching something terrible." She sighed and gently wiggled from his grasp before plucking a fur from the bed and laying it infront of the stone set fire place and then sinking down onto the floor carefully.

{ I was up last night thinking about shit storm chain reaction of events that could happen after they capture Vivian for info, ash finds out and then kills one of the luscaprgjskfjsjs then the lushskfjsjd are mad at the pack and they get into a fighty a thing and stakes are high and then the village finds out that Phoenix (he's still captured for "killing" the priest right?) is a werewolf and so they go after the wolves as well and what not. I don't know. I'm just throwing ideas out there.}

(I was planning on Phoenix breaking free and going back and attacking the pack for "leaving" him, he will mainly target Ash and Vivian though and will wreck havoc when he finds out she's pregnant which would get the lupuscruor involved. And then all hell will break loose )

(That night)

"Get up you bloody bastard." One of the pathetic humans ordered. Phoenix snarled at the pure hatred making his every muscle twitch. After grabbing him in the woods they had not only tied and chained him up but they also weighted his body down with huge blocks of stone to keep him from moving after he had punched down an entire wall earlier. They spat at him calling him the spawn of Satan for what he aparently did to some priest. With how things were he was honestly wishing he was the one who killed the priest that way he could at least get Satisfaction from that. The stupid humans would often come in and try beating him and whipping him but he killed most of them. Every second he became angier and for a moment he thought he might explode. Thoughts of bashing his I'm uncultured of a brother's brains in were the only thing that kept him from tearing apart the building and ripping apart every weak human in this bloody village.

"Come on get your fucking arse up!" Another demanded. Phoenix growled his red hair dirty and covered in dried blood. "Get u-!" Another started but was interrupted as Pheonix threw the huge stone chained around his wrists and arms at the side of his cage. This cage was too small for him to get any real force behind the stone but he still managed to put a huge dent in the bars that held the stone in its twisted grip. He roared furiously and one of the men started praying for god to bless this troubled soul to be forgiven. Pheonix laughed cruelly and spit onto the man's face.

"You're all stupid! Every fucking one of you bastards!" He yelled at them turning his head to the small sliver of a window and could see the sun set. He grinned at them watching as they cautiously unlocked his cell door like the vast number of weapons they all carried would do them any good.

"Fucking stupid bastards the whole lot ah'ya." He growled as he started to turn. All the men stared at him in horror as he changed into a huge wolf he shook his chesnut red hair and roared again before lunging at the little men as they tried to flee, but not a one escaped his warth. He tore after every filth human in there before bursting out of the building. He was dripping in blood his eyes a brilliant crimson of bloodlust as he howled loudly and clearly into the air. Women and children scream and ran about in the village. The men tried to protect their families, but Phoenix spared no one. He ripped down everything to cross his path, through carts and wagons clear through buildings. Nothing was safe from him.

Yet this village was merely an Apetizer to his feast of revenge. The main course had yet to served.

Growling and snarling fiercely as he ran he charged into woods knowing just what he was looking for. No rational thought could even be considered as his wolf ravenged everything. He reached his father's den and gave no time as he smashed through the entrance making the ceiling crumble and fall where it wasn't stronge enough to handle his anger. His family cried and ran from him just as the villagers had.

"WHERE IS HE?! WHERE IS THE BASTARD!" He roared at them he did not care that some were trapped under the fallen ceiling he did not care if any of them died. These were no longer his family they were all traiters. Each and everyone of the scrambling weaklings. "WHERE IS HE!!!" He demanded mashing his fists against the wall making it crumble and fall.

Ash jumped up hearing a loud howl in the midnight air. He could feel dangerous pounding of footsteps on the forest ground. Spending only a second to wonder what it was he ran to his den to make sure his mate was alright but he could see he was too late his fathers den was in collapsed shambles in the ground. He quickly went into his den glad it wasn't yet collapsed just as "WHERE IS HE?! WHERE IS THE BASTARD!" Echoed through the yet collapsed tunnels. "Vivian!?" He called in search of his mate. "Vivian?!" He called again as "WHERE IS HE!!" Rang into the tunnels followed by the sound of heavy crashing and dust. Ash knew who was calling and knew who they wanted yet he didn't dare go until he knew his mate and unborn pups were safe.

She had curled up on a chair in the parlor, draped in furs as the pups had finally calmed and allowed her to sleep. Crusted sleep rested in the corner of her eyes as she begrudgingly awoke to the pounding of feet and the desperate calling of her mate.

"Ash?" She croaked softly shrugging off the woven blankets and cradeling her swollen stomach in the palm of her hand as she waddled out sleepily through the doorway and into the main room where she though she'd heard her mate call.

"You should have woken me I would've gone to bed with you..." But before she could even utter the last words of her sentence she knew everything was terribly wrong as the footsteps grew closer and the terrible howls of the escaped prisoner filled her ears.

Marius was woken up by the sounds of screaming in the distant. His now lengthening ears twitched as he bolted upright in bed, picking up on the roar and sound of crashing in the village. "No no no. Not now.....of all the nights." His heart raced as he got up to search for his armor. Knowing that there would soon be the sound of fists pounding on his door as they rushed to send the warriors out. He began to panic. What was he going to do? There was no possible way to hide his wolf form. He wasn't in in yet, but it was not long until he would be and what then?

Spotting his mate he rushed to her side trying to pull her with him. "Vivian we need to get you ou-" he was suddenly interrupted by one of their den walls being smashed down, dust and huge chunks of dirt came flying at the two of them. Ash quickly got infront of his mate protecting her from the crashing rumble. But he was also the first thing a demented Phoenix saw as came bursting into the room with a ear splitting howl. "Found you..." He growled with a vicious smirk charging his brother before he could turn and throw him across the room into the wall. "The fuck's this?!" He snarled seeing the pregnant Vivian.

"Leave her be!" Ash snarled changing into his wolf that used to be much bigger than Pheonix's wolf but it seemed while he was imprisoned he had grown in strength and size. Though Ash was unphased by this. He charged straight into his brother's side and tearing after him. "Vivian run!" He said as yet another wall crashed down, and soon the entire den would follow. He tried to keep Phoenix pinned unable to move yet, some how he broke free and his sharp teeth dug into Ash's throat. Ash yelp as his brother smashed his body to the ground then aimed his hatred at his pregnant mate.

"I'm not gone much more than a week and he's already got you filled with his fucking bastard children? No matter..." He said standing over Vivian ready to rip her to shreds.

"I said leave her..!" Ash said bleeding heavily as he stood up and pounced on his brother.

As her frail human form was no match for him as he towered over her she shifted painfully quickly into her wolf, silvery cream fur crusted with dirt now as the den crumbled in around them.

She bore her fangs up at him with a snarl, a paw resting over her stomach protectively. Ash would have to defend himself as she knew he could, her first priority was the pups. Her pups had to survive.

"Leave us be. You've brought this on yourself bastard!" Her lips curled in a malicious growl.

As soon as Ash had bounced she leapt to her feet and hurried towards the entrance of the den, lunging and pawing desperately at the fallen stones as she climbed her way to the gaping hole where the doorway had been. She was no help to Ash here. Only a distraction. Though every step pained her as she distanced herself further from her mate.

Mary groaned softly as Marius's movements woke her. "What's wrong?" She asked with a yawn sitting up and watching him worriedly as he scrambled frantically "What about...tonight?" She asked looking at him as she tiredly climbed out of the bed but a piercing howl made her jump. "Werewolves?" She asked just as there was a fierce pounding on the door.
