Realistic or Modern Reily's home for the orphaned and abused

When Hikari revealed himself, Riik glared at him with seething anger and growled "You!" through his teeth. He was about to 'behead' the slime to return it to a more manageable size, until it started swallowing him up. Riik was not amused, but he neither struggled nor cowered. It wasn't exactly a painful experience, and struggling would likely be a waste of effort. However, Riik was not about to go out completely without a fight. After being spat out, he landed in a crouch, then stood up, glancing down at one of his hands. Both of them each contained a generous handful of slime. Perhaps not enough to be of any effect to Hikari, but certainly better than nothing. Wondering what kind of nutritional value the slime offered anyway, Riik decided to eat what he had obtained as a private gesture of vengeance. The obnoxious slime deserved worse, but Riik was not one to hold a grudge. He simply decided to keep away from the idiotic creature. Brushing off his body, Riik headed into the nurse's office tentatively. Hostile slimes, Riik could handle... but doctors... the thought of what could possibly be awaiting him made him shudder from head to tail.
 
The real Nurse Ryan looked over "What just happened between you two? should i tell Riley?" he asked as he got some stuff ready for the check-up. as promised no poking and prodding stuff beyond the stethascope. meanwhile Nurse Ross pokes her head out the door "alright any volenteers to go first?" she asks.
 
Riik glanced out of the door. His body was still full of adrenaline from the scuffle, so he had just enough confidence to mumble a timid reply. "S-slime attacked me." He turned back to face in the interior of the room. "Not so tough though, just... mean... and nasty."
 
Ross nods "alright then." she motioning her to come in and gets some stuff set to go. meanwhile Ryan does his physical which wasn't that bad. just checked height, weight, body temperature and blood pressure and heartbeat/pulse.
 
Riik left the room feeling glad that it was over. Once out, he immediately climbed the wall of the hall outside and clung onto it, facing outward. He seemed oddly comfortable in this position as if it was akin to being sat down. Having nothing to do and being too shy to go outside or find a room, Riik just waited.
 
Charlotte walked into the room looking at everything in it. She saw the medical supplies and hoped there was no needles in there. She had been afraid of them since she was a little girl and the fear was still there
 
Hikari came back to the waiting room and saw Riik hanging on the wall. He Thought about messing with him again but decided not too, for fear of being eaten.


"Riik, Hey Riik have you seen the human girl who could make invisible walls, " he asked while turning into his humanoid form, "I want to play a game with her."

Akira sighed, looking around the room and at the other girls. She sighed and looked at the nurse, awaiting orders.
 
Hikari stared at the kid as he snarled at him. 'Psh im not scared of some monster kid...'


Hikari stretched his body along the wall a few feet in front of Riik so that in case Riik tried to attack him, he could react and escape, "Ricky, why you being as aggressive. Calm down, smile, have some fun, I know... Why dont you come with me to pull a innocent prank on the human girl."
 
"But you ATE ME... do you know how it feels lose your body mass because someone wants to eat you... It feels horrible, and it makes me hungry..." he shouted while his body started to boil, "I had to show you how it felt to be eaten but now that a ate you. we are even. So drop the hate and join me in my newest prank."
 
"I..." Riik stared at the floor. "I thought you were dead..." He seemed to appear a little guilty for a short time before suddenly shaking it off. "Wait... you attacked first! And... what is... 'pank'?"
 
A tall boy with semi-long, black hair emerged from a room. He'd moved so quickly from the others on that bus that he hadn't even been noticed; the boy, aged 17, walked with his hands in his sweatshirt pockets. Brendan, or as he preferred, Blade, peered around at the others curiously yet emotionless. An orphanage for the weird and abused. I guess I fit in... still not worth trusting anyone here but the staff, no, hardly even the staff... Maybe I'll make at least one... friend? Blade thought to himself, his gaze falling to the floor as he walked. 
(And, as of right now, I will be heading off to bed. I don't want to ruin my school routine too much... nearly 1 AM xD . Anywho, g'night! Be back sometime later[in the mornin'].)
 
"I did not attack first," laughed the slime, "I was just pulling a prank on you. I was not going to hurt you, I just wanted to scare you."


Then he moved closer to riik and put his arm around his back while waving His hand in front of both of them. His slime put together a picture helping explain what he was saying, "a prank my good friend is a joke u play on someone to trick them. They are innocent and funny." The slime example was somebody walking through a door and a bucket of water falling on their head.

Riik shook his head dismissively. "That's mean!" He pulled away from Hikari and climbed up onto the ceiling, apparently just as comfortable being upside-down as he was hanging off the wall. "Scaring bad! Like hurting, but mind instead of body!" His voice was starting to become hoarse. He had done more talking today than he normally did in an entire week, and it was starting to put a strain on his voice.
 
Hikari could see this kid was a party pooper. He was not fun at all and his voice was getting tired. "Not all pranks have to scare people, but if that's how u feel imma go bother someone else.


Then Hikari receded his body to his base on the ground and slithers out the area and saw the girls lined up. 'There Akira' He slithered over to her feet then coiled around her body until his head was eye level to hers. "What with the long line Akira"

Riik shrugged and crawled around the ceiling a bit. He didn't really have a destination in mind, he just enjoyed climbing. And even for Riik, climbing on the ceiling required plenty of concentration. Riik stopped when he reached a guy he hadn't seen before. Or at least, not since the bus. In truth, Riik had completely forgotten about him; the stress of the disembarkation was great enough to distract him from keeping track of his new 'family'.


This one looks quiet, he thought to himself. That's good. The slime is loud enough for all of us combined as it is. He dropped down from the ceiling in front of Blade, landing on all-fours and glancing up at him. After a few seconds of examination, Riik sat down directly in his path. He was testing Blade for his reactions. Time to find out what I have to watch out for with this one. Maybe he'll be friendly.
 
Blade stopped his walking quickly, seeing the small, genderless being sitting in front of him. He cocked his head slightly, speaking in a near inaudible tone, "hello." Blade wasn't comfortable speaking to people, let alone even be around them; but, this one seemed friendlier than the rest, and far more quiet.
 
Riik's posture relaxed a little at Blade's reaction to his presence; this was a being that was neither obnoxious nor scarily outgoing nor seemingly unfriendly. Blade's body was still covered in clothing, however; which to Riik added a layer of uncertainty to his character; but that was a common thing amongst humans, and the only other being here who didn't wear clothes was Hikari, and Riik wasn't about to try making friends with him any time soon.


Now what? Riik thought to himself. I hadn't thought ahead this far. Riik generally wasn't one to initiate social interaction, so this was a rather new experience for him. Slowly, he stood up. Maybe I should just follow him... get used to his presence.


With that thought in mind, Riik let out a "nyuh" of acknowledgement, and moved to one side to let Blade past, intending to follow him.
 
Blade raised an eyebrow in question, then smirked a little under the scarf he wore, walking on to explore. Of course, he new the little creature was following him, so maybe he'd use his telepathy to communicate if he hates talking. "Hello, my name is Blade, your's is?" he questioned, his voice going to Riik's mind.
 
Riik almost tripped over at the new voice in his head. "Riik," he thought instantly, whilst letting out a "Whaaai!" of surprise out loud.
 
Blade softly giggled, "Sorry to surprise you, little fella! Telepathy is what I use when I don't feel like physically speaking. Anyways, nice to meet you, Riik," he finished, smiling slightly while he kept walking. He wouldn't communicate too much unless Riik wanted a conversation.
 
"That's him!? In my head!?" Riik thought. "B-but... h-how much can he-... o-oh no... I'm not really gunna eat the slime, I promise! W-was just imagining..." Riik went bright red in embarrassment at the thought of his stray thoughts being read. From hypothetical scenarios involving Hikari and various counter-action plans to the slime's unruly behaviour; to trying to imagine what Blade looked like beneath his clothing. Riik was hoping Blade couldn't read too deeply into his mind.
