Setting: Player starts in a bunker in Berlin





Back Story: It started like any other day. Flight 886 was flying from Russia to Florida USA. On board that plane was hundreds of canisters of an unidentified biochemical. There was a malfunction in the planes operating system, the engines went down as did flight 886. Crashing into the Detmold power plant and as the plane exploded into an electric fire ball of purple light, all power was knocked out in a 500km radius. That was only the start of the problems. As the biochemicals exploded and mixed the the electric filled air a strange paranormal storm began to form, quickly blanketing the world in darkness, acidic rain and purple lightning. The biochemical first effected the land around the crash site, then the animals, people and after two months the world was infected. They tried to contain it but it was moving too fast and evolving too quickly. In that time the remaining survivors got evacuated into bunkers but eventually died off or were found by the corruption. Some people got horribly mutated by the corruption but everyone else can appear normal even though they are infected. The corruption effects the brain and nervous system causing a sort of "devolution." people still have basic motor skills (walking, running, talking to some extent and other simple tasks,) but they all have become extremely hostile. It has been almost a year since then, you managed to service, alone in a bunker below Berlin. Your only hope for survival now lies in the hands of a man on the other end of a walkie talkie. He says "with your help we can fix this." Who can you trust? Even stranger this mysterious man claims to be on the moon.

Name: Matthew Jenkins


Age: 27


Gender: Male


Personality: Matthew's a smart, (usually) calm, and brave man. He can be a little commanding at times, and sometimes acts before he thinks. Most of his intellect is wasted because of how rash he can be. Matthew is an optimistic person, and tries to look on the bright side of most things.


Background: Matthew Jenkins was a tourist from USA visiting Germany to visit his grandparents, he had heard of the unfortunate mishap on the news. Immediately Matthew packed everything he would need and told his grandparents to get somewhere safe, but they wouldn't listen to him. He knew that something absolutely terrible was about to befall. Matthew jumped into the bunker under the house (which had be used to hide Jews during WWII) and even tried to force his grandparents in. They pushed him in the bunker, mutter something about the current generation, and locked him in there. Hitting his head on the ground, Matthew fell unconscious, not being able to hear his grandparents screams. The question is...how did Matthew know what was going to happen? Well, Mr. Jenkins was part of the research team from USA who were going to use those chemicals to construct a missile, a missile that was deadlier than a viper injecting his poison into it's prey...


Should I explain what he looks like? Well, I do look forward to this RP! Sounds fun :)
 
ohhh okay! That's alright :) Although, could you give me a quick explanation of what has happened (since I'm too lazy to read all 8 pages) and what is about to happen? (sorry for the inconvenience but I'm new to this site)

No, it's totally fine. Pretty much Janie got a message on her walkie talkie from this guy Neil who tells her he needs her help to fix everything. With his help she left the bunker and he helped her to gather supplies while she fought of some of the infected. Then he found out there was someone living in the asylum whom had not been infected. She was guided to the asylum by neil where she sits in the lobby area. She then had a conversation with neil and he then told he he lives on the moon. In a storm of frustration and anger and thinking he was insane she turned off her walkie talkie. We paused there until we could get someone to play the character in the asylum.


I don't have any idea who he/she is or why he/she is there. That I think is up to you, but message morkai because I'm not sure what I am supposed to know.

Personality: Beatrice is a surprisingly smart young woman, she just has crazy ways to show it (reason why she's in the asylum). She's so smart, that she would be considered a genius, if she wasn't considered insane, of course. Although Beatrice is intellectually mature, being in a asylum for half her life has taken it's toll on her emotional development leaving her very vulnerable to emotional break downs, and more. Overall, Ms. Donatello is very humorous, loyal to a few close people, and very cunning.


Background: Beatrice Donatello has the IQ of 200, she was home school by her father before she was sent to the asylum. Beatrice's father had been part of the US Research Team, the same one that was supposed to receive those biochemicals from Russia to construct a very dangerous war weapon. Having sneaked through her father's papers and computer, Beatrice has a vast knowledge of what's happening to the world. While watching TV, Beatrice heard the news and tried to warn everyone. Of course, they didn't believe her, after all, they thought she was insane. They locked her up into an even more isolated room, one that would reuse the same air over and over again, separating her completely from human civilization.


The reason why Beatrice was in the asylum was because she kept speaking of a large destruction. When the teachers had told Beatrice to stop because she was scaring the other kids with her very descriptive oral image of how they would die, or how others would die, from it, she told them it was true. They thought Beatrice was making it up, but it continued. They didn't know Beatrice was explaining the horrid instrument of war her father was creating. They would never know Beatrice was relieving top secret information that was only known by a select few. The teachers had told her parents about the situation and said that she was crazy. When Beatrice's parents came to observe what their daughter was doing, Mr. Donatello immediately knew she was spilling secrets about the mysterious weapon, he told his wife that she would have to be sent to the mental hospital. Ms. Beatrice Donatello was sent to live in a place filled with insane people when she was only a 6 year old.
