An Alpha's Love (W/ undercovernoob)

Saul sat with his friends on their favourite bench outside school, to be honest, they only sat on it because no one else did, and that was just because it had 'gay' and 'I'm uncultured' carved into the wood all over it. "It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A!!! It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A!!" Saul sang as he jumped up from the bench and proudly performed the moves. Thalia, one of Saul's best friends, shook her head and laughed, clearing her throat before standing up. "I think you find this is the best song...." She stood still and silent before breaking out into song. "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and there li--" Thalia was cut off by Chase, singing a different song. "It's friday, friday gotta get down on friday, everybody's looking forward to the weekend!" He sang loudly and Saul and Thalia laughed. The trio were gaining some odd looks but the school hadn't officially started yet so they could buzz off. A loud bell rang signalling the start of school so the three grabbed their bags and raced eachother inside, to their first lesson together.

"Ermagerd!! I left my homework in my locker! Do I get it? Chase this is a life or death matter you need to decide for me" Saul shook Chase's shoulders as hard as he could and squealed, Thalia just looked back and waved her hand dismissively, walking towards the classroom. "Go get it, you already have one detention after school today you don't want another do you? I'll save you a space, well if there is any by the time I get there" Chase said before turning around and running to class. Saul looked back, no one was around so he just walked to his locker instead, getting out his keys and putting them in the lock, twisting them and the locker opened with some amount of force. "Yay! homework!" Saul cheered sarcastically, taking out the sheet he'd left in there last week and heading to lessons all over again. "Rainbow juice" He muttered to himself randomly, seeing if he wouldn't smile at the words. But he did, a large smile cracked on his face amd he sniggered. He slipped into his class silently, hoping he went invisble as he walked slowly to the only spare table without anyone on it and only one more seat, no Thalia or Chase.... "Lonely, I am so lonely.... I have nobody..." He sang, causing quite a few people to laugh as he leaned his elbows on the table to prop his head up so he wouldn't fall if he was asleep. "Saul! Stop singing this isn't a music lesson!" The teacher, Mrs Quinn, shouted. Saul huffed. "Yea yea, it's math, I know... Jee louise, woman" He grumbled, waiting for someone to sit beside him and for him to not be lonely. Not that that wish would come true anyways.

((Lol it's random and short but hey, I tried))

Christopher grimaced and massaged his sore knuckles and retrieved his backpack from the ground. It had been sitting next to the unlucky SOB who tried to make him the butt of a new kid prank this morning. He nudged the kids side with his shoe and snorted when a small groan escaped him. At least he was alive, he thought before shrugging his bag over his shoulder and sauntering down the hallway.

Of course, thanks to spending about half an hour wandering the school, he was going to be late to class. Very late to class. Probably not a good way to start the semester, but whatever. The only reason he had move was because of the new pack that was going to be forming here. The one back home was over populated, with about forty wolves in it, not including those his age or under. As a result, everyone under twenty – he refused to call himself a cub, regardless of what the adults said – was moved to a new location, with Chris and a couple others in charge. Basically, a pack in training.

Snatching a map of the school and pairing It with his schedule, he continued on his way down the hallway ignoring the rushing latecomers and curious glances shot his way, until he found room 288 and was not surprised to see a couple others stranded outside the classroom. The teacher opened the door for them after a couple moments, and proceeded to thoroughly scold them. “Really Marcus? This is your third tardy…detention. And you, you’re never late. What happened?”

The girl next to him popped her gum lazily and replied, “Car trouble.” The teacher scoffed. “Mhm. Now throw that gum out, and all of you get to work – oh, our new student!” Christopher nodded and took the hand she had offered him. “I’m Mrs. Quinn, welcome to our wonderful school.” She said enthusiastically, and offered him a hand. “I’m Chris, he said, and shook it firmly, eyeing the classroom. “Well Chris, you can take a seat right by Saul. She gestured to a table off to the right. Chris nodded and moved toward the table as she started lecturing again to set his stuff down and took a seat next to a boy with bright eyes and black hair. He dug his stuff out without a word and began to work on the lesson.

Saul was in the middle of trying to take the lid off of his pen to realise that the new male student was sitting next to him, no need to sing Mr Lonely now. "Stupid lid wont come off!" He squealed, resorting to biting the pen lid and trying to snap it off. No such luck there until.... "I did it!! Yaaaay!!!" He cheered loudly and Mrs Quinn looked over at him. "Saul, please refrain from cheering in the middle of class" "It's not the middle of class miss, it just started" Saul replied, trying to write with the pen but then finding out it didn't work.

Saul looked to the side after losing the teacher's attention and instead saw a rather muscular male, well this was going to be very fun. He'd probably get beat up by this guy sooner or later, buuut he may as make the use of him now. "Hey, hey dude... Can I use a pen?..." He whispered, poking the male to get his attention. "Mine ran out" He whispered again. No answer... Perhaps he was being to quiet? Intead, he leant over so that he could see the male's face fully and looked into his eyes. "I need a pen, dude, listen to me" He said in a perfectly audible voice this time. "Like, this is the third time asking, stop being lazy"

Saul waited patiently for an answer this time, finding himself almost getting lost in the other male's eyes but he shook his head to get out of the trance. "I'm Saul by the way, nice to meet you but I still need a pen"

He was getting very annoyed by the kid next to him. Chris came here because he had to, not to socialize. Just do his get in, get out, and go hunting. That had been the plan from the start, and he was already bored from the Mrs. Quack, whatever her name was, teaching his stuff he already knew, much less needed to deal with a pain in the butt during math class... provided it was only math class he had with Saul. He cringed inwardly just thinking about it, the horrors of having to - His thoughts were interrupted by Saul leaning over and speaking to him. Yet again, asking him for a pencil...had he not gotten the first two hints? Growling, he unzipped his backpack, snatched out a plain black pen, and stabbed it into the crease like a knife in Saul's math book so that it struck straight up. He had actually wanted to put it through his hand, but it wouldn't do if he was kicked out on the first day, in the first damn period. So, running his hands through his hair he reverted back to staring at nothing straight ahead, when he heard his name.

"Chris, can you put this into point slope form please?" Their teacher asked, obviously noticing he wasn't paying any attention. He sighed and walked up to the board to jot down the answer. As he did, his leather jacket sleeve slid up his arm and she shook her head in disapproval of the tattoo that ran along it. "Young people these days," She muttered as Chris went back to his seat, before informing the class that his answer was correct and began to explain whatever came after it.

Saul's eyes widened and he whistled at Chris' short temper. "Someone's angry~" He teased, poking Chris' arm once he sat back down. He loved annoying people, it was one of his many talents along with dancing amd being positive. "You do realise that you're gonna get no friends with that attitude, you have to be positive and talk more and not listen in le-"

"Excuse me, Saul can you finish off this sum?" Mrs Quinn asked.

"Maaaybe..." Saul shrugged, standing up and simply writing 'Rainbows' as the answer. A few peopls sniggered and Saul decided to draw a rainbow beneath the word as well. He really didn't care if he got into trouble for doing that as he didn't even know the real answer anyways, he would've got it wrong anyways.

Chris scowled and decided that Saul was lucky he got called on before he tore the nuisance to pieces. Instead, he settled for imagining himself doing it as he stared at the back of Saul's head as he wrote on the board. He raised an eyebrow at the word that was written on the board...figures he would write something ridiculous. Annoying people was probably like an olympic sport to the guy...him and his stupid black curls that made him want to run his fingers through them -

"What?!" Chris said aloud, attracting several stares. Mrs Quail nodded and looked back at Saul's answer. "Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking." But her scolding fell on deaf ears as Chris blushed as he tried to figure out what had just happened. Where the hell did that come from...I must be more tired than I thought I was, He thought to himself while furiously biting his nails. Jet lag is turning my brain to mush.

Saul sat back down and carried on doing absolutely nothing but drawing random swirls and rainbows in his maths book. The teacher rubbed the answer off the board and sighed, all too used to Saul's stupidity and lack of concentration. "Sticks and stone could break my bones but anything you say will only fuel my lungs, don't mind us were just spilling our guts..." Saul sang quietly, growing even more bored of the lesson. He just wanted the bell to ring and for everyone to leave so he could get to gym. Not that he was good at gym, just that he had even more time to be lazy by sitting out when they had to play dodgeball. Soon enough the bell rang, signalling the end of this lesson and the start of gym. Saul picked up his bags and rushed out to catch up with Thalia and Chase. "Dodgeball!!" Chase cried but Thalia sighed, the gym was split into boys and girls but they still had the same sports. "I love dodgeball, set aside the constant hitting amd bruises I get it's fiiiine" Saul joked as the neared the gym changing rooms.

Chris had practically flew out of the classroom after the bell had rang. He slowed down some ways down the hall and pulled out his schedule to see what his class was, and his eyes scanned the page until they settled on gym, in the second period spot. "Thank God", he muttered to himself. Unlike most people, he liked gym and was a natural athlete. He glanced at his map and turned around to head in the right direction when he ran in to something. He blinked, and look downward to see who he had run into, and she scrambled for her books. "Sorry" he muttered, and offered her a hand. She was pretty, a brunette and had green eyes. "Oh, its fine, my fault," She said to him, accepted the hand she had given him to pull herself up. She studied him for a moment, clutching her books to her chest. "You're new aren't you? I can tell by the accent. Where are you from?"

"Wigan," He answered her with his telltale English accent. She nodded. "I have cousins there...I'm Liliana by the way, but you can call me Lilia if you'd like." A bit or red appeared on his cheeks as he realized she hadn't dropped his hand. "I'm Chris." She smiled at him. "A man of few words are you?" she replied, then glanced at her watch. "Well, I guess I will let you go to class. See you?" She winked at him and only then did she let go of his hand before slipping into the crowd.

Chris pushed open the door of the locker room and continued down the isle until he found his locker. He dropped his backpack before digging through it and retrieving his change of clothes and a lock. He shrugged off his jacket and hung it inside his locker before pulling his shirt over his head, careful not to snag it on his snake bites.

Saul and Chase got changed into their kits and sat down on the bench together. "Hey! The I'm uncultured are already in here! They must really wanna get their butts kicked today!" One of the populars, Matt, laughed as all of the other boys in the changing room laughed too. Saul just stuck his tongue out along with Chase who just causally flicked his middle finger up at all of them, not really thinking about the consequences. "Oh, the gays are gonna get cocky now?" Matt growled, followed by a deadly laugh that Saul and Chase were already too familiar with. "I wouldn't say cocky, just flipping you off" Chase said calmly, a smirk on his lips as the coach entered the room and explained the rules before splitting the boys into two groups. "OKAY. GET HIT THREE TIMES, YOU'RE OUT. HIT HARD AND DODGE WELL" He screamed, almost deafening Saul. Coach said that one half of the room were on one team the other were the scond team, he made sure the teams were even before sending everyone into the gymnasium and making a line of cones to mark the playing area. "TEAM ONE HERE, TEAM TWO ON THE OTHER SIDE" Saul and Chase unfortunately gained their places in seperate teams, but every male in their teams were muscular, only Saul was weak and scrawny, Chase still had muscle and could actually deal with the hits of all the dodgeballs unlike Saul. "This is not going to be fun..." Saul grumbled, not liking the fact that he wasn't with Chase and about to be put in his grave there and then.

((By the way, this is Thalia and Chase»»

Chris's ears were still ringing from the coach's yelling as his team jogged onto the court. He stretched his arms and eyed the line of red balls in the center of the court, then the other team that consisted of the regular group of mismatched teenagers, then that asshole from the locker room. He scowled, he hated bullies - not that they had ever given him problems- but what bothered him was that they were nothing but evil, insecure, pieces of toilet paper. Knowing that, he would probably be a target just because he was new...and Chris really wasn't in the mood to be hit in the face with a dodge ball. He glanced at the coach, and his muscled tensed as he saw him raise the whistle to his lips, and blow one long piercing note.

Resisting the urge to cover his ears, Chris sprinted to the line and grabbed two balls, but felt another hand clutching one of them. He looked up at the bully he had been thinking about and his eyes widened slightly as the animal inside of him nearly forced his claws out when he locked eyes with the other wolf. In shock, he let go of the ball and stepped back, though it was apparent that the other was just as surprised. Chris growled a warning, flashing his fangs for a moment, before backing up and barely dodging a ball thrown at his face and returning the favor with the ball he had kept. Get in the game buddy, you can worry about the other guy later, he thought to himself before grabbing a ball out of midair and firing it to the other side, taking another opponent out easily.

Saul let out a girly scream as he dodged a whole group of dodge balls that were out to get him. He hated dodgeball with a passion, seriously, all he got out of it was hits in the face and bruises all down his legs. He scrambled behind a tall and muscular male that looked as if he was doing well and clung onto him for dear life. "Don't let them kill me!!" Saul pleaded, the male just laughed and shook his head, getting hit by a ball and shrugging. "Darn, third hit, sorry kid, fend for yourself" The other male ran off the court and to where the other people that had been caught out sat. "Oh dear..." Saul mumbled as he looked around, only four other people stood, Saul hadn't even been hit once and he didn't intend to either. "DON'T LEAVE ME, IDIOT!!" He yelled at the boys that had been caught out and that were walking off the pitch. Oh well, this marks the end of my life, may as well run around in hope I wont get hit! "SAUL YOU NEED TO THROW THE BALLS!" Saul's team shouted as Saul nervously picked up a ball, still dodging them like the weak boy he was. He threw it and to his surprise, it caught out someone, finally. "Ugh, idiot, just dodge, I'll throw" Matt grumbled, being the only one left with Saul and not wanting to stay with him any longer.

It was down to the final four - Chris and another guy on his team versus Matt and that little guy from his math class whom he had no idea how he made it this far but didn't really care. Matt wis pelting balls at them like hail and Chris's teammate was unable to keep up as two balls hit him in the arm and leg. Cursing, Chris returned fire just as fast, and nearly managed to hit Saul in the leg, but he moved it at the last possible second. It was beginning to look like a stalmate, as both Matt and Chris were equally skilled and Saul wasn't throwing anything.

Saul squealed as Chris threw a ball that nearly hit his leg, close one... He wasn't liking this at all, he was just constantly running away from the ball in an attempt to not get hit. Coach blew the whistle and held his hand up to signal the end of the game. "Tie!" He called out, the game had been going for too long without anyone being hit. Saul instantly ran over to Chance and hugged him tightly. "I DIED CHANCE, I DIED!!" Saul yelled in Chance's ear as everyone else flooded back to the changing rooms. "Yeah yeah, just let go and get changed, lunch awaits" Chance laughed, pulling Saul back the changing rooms and they both changed, Saul still babbling on about how scared he was.

Chris got changed quickly and grabbed his stuff before stepping back out into the hallway. Matt was there, waiting for him, talking with a couple of his friends, when they locked eyes again. Moving away from the group, Matt continued down the hall and Chris followed until he found an unused classroom and stepped inside, pushing the door shut behind him. The two alphas were cautious, studying each other without a word, until Matt broke the silence. "Why don't I know you? And I don't mean as a new kid...I know all the packs in the state, but not you." He seemed to be a little annoyed by the confession, a hit on his ego. Chris looked at him curiously. "You didn't know? About the new pack I mean. Yours and mine...were merging," he replied, amused. Matt furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. But my pack already has an alpha -"

"Yes, but not two." Chris said, cutting him off. "Which means that we are unofficial alphas without a mate. We will have to compete for the alpha role...and find a mate." Matt processed this then his eyes widened in fury before his hands reached out and tried to grab Chris around the throat, but were grabbed and knocked away. Chris managed to grab his arm and began to twist it behind his back, but Matt lashed out with one of his legs and caused Chris to fall on to him. Matt grabbed Chris's shirt and flipped them over, and the two bared fangs at one another. "Listen up punk," Matt growled dangerously. "This is my pack, and as far as I'm concerned, there is no competition. Got it?" Chris resisted the urge to change and show the other wolf what he really thought of his words but he forced himself to calm down - for Matt's sake. Instead, he settled for sarcasm. "Great. Now that you're done with your temper tantrum, do you mind getting off so someone doesn't look through the window and get the wrong idea?" Chris grinned maniacally, and Matt blushed angrily and moved off. "Its not like anyone comes in here," he muttered. Chris stood and brushed himself off, and without another word left the room and headed for lunch.

"Thalia!!" Saul shouted, waving his hands in the air to catch Thalia's attention. Chase and Saul had found a table in the cafeteria to sit at, the usual one, right in the back corner where no one else would ever sit. The trio had claimed that table to be of their possession now that no one dared to sit there, they'd even written their names where they sat on the seats just to prove it was theirs. "Saul, Chase!" Thalia called back, running over and placing her bag on the table to take out her lunch. "Now, as I said last week, I will be providing lunch, sooo..." She paused before pulling out three massive bags of cheesy Doritos. "OHMIGAWD Womaaan you are L to the E to the G to the E to the... Wait, how do you spell that? Legendary... L to the E to the D to the-- Wait no, that's wrong!!" Saul confused himself as he grabbed one of the three bags of Doritos and began to eat them whilst he wondered how to spell legendary. "It's L-E-G-E-N-D-A-R-Y, idiot" Chance laughed and corrected Saul, stealing some of Saul's doritos despite there being two other bags on the table. "HEY. Whadya think you're doing, mr!?" Saul cried. "NO TOUCHIE"

Chris felt something poke his arm, and he looked to the side too see Lilia smiling next to him. "Hey," she said cheerfully. "Heading to lunch?"

He nodded at her. "You?" he asked. "Yeah, right after I drop this stuff off at my locker. You wanna sit together?" She asked him as they walked to the lockers. He gave her a surprised look, but she was putting stuff in her locker. Chris put his hands in his pockets. "You don't want to sit next to your friends? From what I saw, you sure have a lot of them."

She shrugged at his question and they began walking to the cafeteria. "I don't like to stay in one place. Now where to sit...with the rain today, no one is eating outside and it's packed." Chris whistled under his breath. "I can definitely see that..." There were even people standing by tables. Lilia then pointed to the back corner of the room. "There. Only a few people sit there. Wanna try it?" Chris nodded, and they began walking to the back.

"Dang Chris..." She whispered into his ear with a smirk. He looked at her questioningly. "What?" She looked at him in disbelief. "Seriously? you don't see them?" Chris shook his head. Lilia laughed and tossed her hair over her shoulders."They are all staring at you. And I doubt its the new kid thing...you're just, well, really really good looking. I've been hearing about this all day too, you womanizer," She joked, and Chris chuckled as they reached the table she had been talking about. "I swear I haven't done anything," he said, laughing. "Mmmhmmm."she countered before sliding onto the bench and waving at the others, two of whom he had recognized from gym, and Chris sat next to her before crossing his arms and resting them on the table. "Hey guys! This Chris, he's new." She smiled brightly and gave Chris the impression that she was one of the only genuinely nice people that hung out with everyone. Chris gave a lopsided smile and nodded at them.

Chase stuck his tongue out at Saul as he snatched the other bag or Doritos, eating them and glaring at Saul. It Saul a while to realise that Chris had just sat down at the table and when he finally noticed he gasped and pointed at the other male. "You're that angry dude from math!" Saul said, a goofy grin on his face as he took out the pen that he'd borrowed from Chris and threw it at him. "I never gave you back your pen so there you go!" He smiled and put the bag of Doritos on the table, not feeling hungry anymore whilst Thalia and Chase stuffed the crisps in their mouths. "You two can have some if you want, Lilia and... Chris?" He offered, not completely sure in Chris' name, but he said the name he thought anyways. "I'm not hungry" Saul said, taking his phone from his bag and unlocking it to listen to his music. "SaulSaulSaul! Play One Direction pre-release!~" Thalia begged and Saul nodded, playing 'Kiss You' out loud and placing his phone on the table.

Lilia turned to look at Chris, amused. "Angry dude from math?" Chris sighed and put the pen in his pocket. "I'm not really a morning person and I didn't have time to grab my coffee either," he replied, then took a chip. Lilia looked at him curiously. "So, do you have a girlfriend?" Chris nearly choked on his chip. "What?" he sputtered.

"Oh, I'm not being forward, I was just wondering what half the school was wondering...so I thought I'd ask." she amended. Chris cleared his throat, trying to will away the red on his cheeks as he answered, "Er, no. Not at the moment." She laughed, and nudged his shoulder before whispering into his ear again.

"I would advise investing in some pepper spray them." she whispered with a straight face.

Chris then couldn't help but begin laughing, and before they knew it, they were wiping away tears and could care less what kind of attention they were attracting.

"I don't get it, why don't you have a girlfriend?" Saul asked, Thalia had a smirk on her face as she began to speak "I bet he's sitting on the other side of the fence like you, Saul" She joked and Saul pouted and crossed his arms. "Hey! I'm gay too, why didn't you mention me!?" Chase cried in fake hurt. "Because your ugly, Chase, no one would date you" Saul grumbled and Chase pushed him roughly. "SHUT UP AT LEAST I'M NOT A SPARKLY FAIRY!!!" Chase screamed and Thalia quickly interrupted the pair, throwing in her opinion. "Hey hey, guys, we are all fairies here... Saul just has bigger wings than all of us" Thalia said and Chase grinned, letting his grip on Saul's arm loose whilst Saul turned his head away in disgust. "Well at least my wings are a pretty shade of pink and lilac~" Saul choked out, acting as if he was crying. "Imma pretty fairy!" He squealed, turning back to Chase and Thalia who were now laughing at that. "I-I'm hurt you guys!" Saul joked. "You're just jealous of my wings, that's all!"

Dang, this conversation got real weird real fast, Chris thought to himself shaking his head at Saul's antics. Lilia cocked her head at Thalia's joke and studied Chris. "Hmmm...are you gay Chris? Or bisexual or whatever," she asked him. He blanched. 'Uhm, no," He replied a bit louder than he had intended to. She put her hands up in defeat and smiled at him. "Hey, I was just asking," she said, before reaching across the table to grab a chip. Flustered, Chris stood up suddenly. "I'm gonna...go get some water," he muttered before walking away from the table to go look for a water fountain.

"Someone's feisty" Thalia whistled, eating a Dorito at the same time as Chase and Saul. "We could be a circus act, y'know, we could do everything in sync" Saul suggested randomly. Leaning back and realising that the bench didn't have a back on it, so instead of being cool he fell backwards and screamed like a 5 year old girl meeting Justin Beiber. "That's God's way of saying that idea sucks" Chase said and went back to went back to eating Doritos in sync with Thalia. "Oh, so I get no help?" Saul rolled his eyes and stayed in the position he'd fallen in. "I'm not moving till you help me" He protested, Thalia and Chase shrugged, still eating.

Chris let the water cool him down and he sighed leaning against the water fountain. He was more tired than usual, and definitely more grumpy, but he would deal...for now. Pushing a strand of loose hair back in place, he walked back through the lunchroom, ignoring Matt's death stare from another table, and stopped in front of his. "Is anyone going to tell me why he is on the floor?" he inquired, and gestured toward the mess that was Saul.

"He just loves the floor" Thalia laughed and Saul raised his hand to say what had happened instead. "Actually, I hate floors, do you know how much bacteria is on the floor? Anywho, I thought I was sitting on a chair so I leaned back and it turned out I was actually sitting on a bench and whadya know, I ended up on the floor!" Saul explained with a smile on his face and attempting to pull himself back up but his legs were stuck so that he couldn't move. "Uh... A little help please?" He said, looking around but Thalia and Chase shook their heads so Saul looked over at Chris in the hope that he would help.

Chris resisted the urge to snigger. Of course...who else would be this ridiculous? Saul was like an already hyper puppy who had been fed an energy drink. Chris shook his head and commented, "Epic fail buddy." He then stepped over Saul to untangle his legs, then slipped his arms under Saul's to lift him back up on the bench. A deep chuckle vibrated in his chest and he whispered into Saul's ear, "Better?"

"Danke!" Saul thanked as he was lifted back onto the bench and he giggled. He felt small tingles where Chris was touching him and quickly pulled himself away from the other's grip. "Yeah, thanks, much better..." He forced a smile despite wanting to scream and ask him what those tingles were from, he never felt that when he hugged Chance everyday so what the check was it. Saul's mind is way to small to process any of it so he kept quiet. "I should really learn to be more careful, I'll end up killing myself one of these days" He laughed and a small blush appeared on his cheeks.
